Packing cubes do not defy physics. Your clothes are the same size with or without a packing cube.

Without a doubt - however, it keeps the clothing compact, tidy and I can press the air out more easily. We just got back from an overseas trip where I bought a TON of souvenirs and without these cubes, I would have had to have worn about 3 outfits layered on the plane. lol
