Felt like I was watching video game while he was driving through the city, looked incredible, sounded incredible, awesome video and fantastic looking wheels.
That was fantastic! Just close your eyes, and listen. All the burbles and pops during engine braking on decel, the spool of the turbo, a flat six roaring with that smooth raspyness, literal music to my ears. My name is Tim and I'm a petrohead.
I worked with a guy briefly in a city back east called Washington, PA (where I was going to college for a couple of specialized classes) who had a vintage VW Bug with the split rear window (which you know it's old then) who had installed an older Porsche 911 turbo engine and I never saw a faster, cooler looking, vintage VW in my life. That thing did scream! Great video, thanks for taking the time/effort to make it a reality.
I have to agree with mr. Magnus Walker, its intoxicating listening to all the beautiful sounds that 930 makes flying through Downtown LA like a bat out of hell
Finally videos are catching up or becoming worthy of the beauty of the automobile. This is what we always wanted to see but nobody had the imagination to do it. Next step, a movie/film worthy of the automobile. A good story line, original, but with cars as the centerpiece. Gone in 60 seconds got close. Fast and the furious also. Maybe you guys can handle it. Doesn't have to be top dollar either. We're all waiting :)
Steve McQueen's 1971 Le mans and Grand Prix 1966. I haven't seen grand prix and I think one of the drivers was too scared to drive but Le mans is impeccable.
+Gabriel Sandoval I do suggest a movie called "The Belgrade Phantom". It's in Serbian language but with English subtitles, it's based on a young man in Belgrade, Yugoslavia in 1979 who steals a 1979 Porsche 911 Targa, and taunts/teases the police every night with it. Meanwhile, the owner of the car is getting impatient as he has to drive back to Germany but his car is gone. The police are unable to catch the car for most of the movie. I won't spoil the end though.
The parking garage @ 3:23 is where I park for work each day(4th & Olive Streets) While I enjoyed this video a lot, no way is Magnus driving that fast through DTLA at night, I'm sure the video is sped up and the 930's engine soundtrack is played over it.(our bumpy ass streets of DTLA wouldn't allow too much speed for an extended period LOL)
FamilyWinn I have just read the comments to see if anyone else noticed this. In Australia we cannot turn against a red light like you can in the USA. Maybe just as well cause I’d do this maneuver all day long.
The different colored bumpers at 4:50 are epic!! They're also on some GT2 Porsche that this guy had something to with I can't remember but Im going to have take that look for my up coming build...
There is nothing like the sound of a 930 turbo I just love it. I get to hear my 930 every time I take it out. Keep up the good work Magnus. Greetings from Australia
I literally drive like this around 1AM at night to get a good feel of the streets when their empty and man lemme tell you it's fucking awesome it really clears up your mind💯
Thanks u all for proveding me this ten minutes of pure pleasure! Magnus u r my inspiration man, and the guys of 52..really good work on those wheels! And can't forget of Robert Angelo and Brett Lupfer..Thanks guys for this great video and very nice pics!
Was fortunate enough to meet Magnus at the USGP last year in Austin (in the Turn 1 general admission area, of all places) and had a fairly long chat with him. Very cool and genuine guy. I only wish I would've had the presence of mind to offer to send him my 74 Targa for the Magnus treatment. I've never seen him do anything with a Targa, so I think that would be a good challenge to see what he could do with it.
dude is rocking a awesome beard! I dont know who magnus walker is, but he seems like a great, down-to-earth guy! this video alone made me subscribe to this channel
Sweet wheels, but I still love the 277 midnight cruise video the best! My 996 is an outlaw homage to Magnus. Hope you get back up here to Monterey for car week!
I have a similar 3.3L 930 on its second (factory) exhaust system/baffles. It came with RUF twin pipes, but they all cackle on the over-run like that after the baffles eventually blow out somewhere around turn two/wherever. The bark/flame is because 70's Porsches spill the turbo pressure on the exhaust side - so as not to waste valuable manifold pressure :-)
Just EPIC !! The video is brilliant and you guys made it just long enough to get the flavor and then wait for the oncoming episodes. Brilliant. Loved it.
David Pálka I grew up there in the mid 70's to the late 80's, and then moved to San Jose, CA in the 90's. Now I live in OKC. But I'm still Southern California at heart.
I've never been in US. I'm from Czech Republic, middle of Europe, but all that monuments, buildings and well known places from pictures and movies i realy like.
Hello! I want to express my respect to you for restoring such legendary cars! Porsche is a work of art! I really enjoyed watching this video, the sound of a motor like a Beethoven symphony or Bach overture! I see in your garage a lot of Porsche cars of different years of production, I also dream of getting a Porsche! I love both classic and newest Porsches! Every Porsche has the spirit of a sports car! Thanks for the Porsche video!
The only sad part it wasn't at leas an hour long. That off throttle popping is beautiful.
I have to agree . I could watch this all night!
X2
Planning on releasing another version that is just driving. Soon. Let me catch my breath first.
It's poppin, it's poppin, it's poppin, it's poppin
They say my Turbo is popping
My Turbo is cool
All the boys keep jocking
They chase me after school
I got in my car and played this video throught the speakers at full volume so I could listen to that turbo popping
Magnus captures the pure essence of why we should all own a Porsche someday.
The sound, the pull, the artwork and the feel.
The 930 turbo is a wonderful creation
Felt like I was watching video game while he was driving through the city, looked incredible, sounded incredible, awesome video and fantastic looking wheels.
Thanks!

I have no words for this video, just can't stop watching and listening.

Thanks! Hopefully we will get there one day. Just trying to tell as many automotive stories as we can, with what we have... Appreciate the kind words.

Driver was a good movie.

I think, I watched that video 50 times all ready, music to my ears man - Proud Porsche Owner
I think these sounds are what every car guy lives for. This car is incredible.
Cinematography as beautiful as the Porsche is! So good, it almost makes us want to live in LA. And that's crazy.
That acceleration sound is so awesome at 3:00. Love it!
The car looks absolutely incredible in this color.
Really great job capturing the sounds this car makes.
Thank you Magnus and the crue that made this.

7:02 glad to see I am not the only impatient one that makes a right and u-turn to make a left. :)

technically thats not legal, but unless youre a cop who cars right XD
so long as you don't cause a accident
Wow.. I have always had a weak heart for 70's and 80's Porches, but Wow... these featured cars are astonishing
beautiful blue Porsche, awesome character of a bloke also
that gurgle is aweosme
2018 and I'm still watching this video. It gives me drive every time I watch it.
This sound is so pure, so 'virgin'. I like it.
The different colored bumpers at 4:50 are epic!! They're also on some GT2 Porsche that this guy had something to with I can't remember but Im going to have take that look for my up coming build...

nothing more satisfying than a high speed drive
Dat sound. Could listen to that all day
Love the Rendez Vous vibe, would be awesome to see one of his entire runs.
We are working on that. We will have something live in July.
what happened to the volume of the music at the end?
One word: cinematographer. Audio is great too.
Brilliant, that overrun sound! Lovely cinematography!
Magnus, you work to live your dream. You’re always an inspiration. God bless you man
That exhaust note....a soundtrack written by the car gods...Oh man.....sweet mother of mary
Car goes and sounds beautiful
That sound is amazing! I've got to get one!
Everything about this video - subject, production, editing and sound are the reason the word epic was made for. Nice job.

Pause on 4:06. Rear wheel well. Smiley face. Awesome.
Makes me want to own one.
Audio gets cut around 6:50, please fix it CAUSE I NEED TO LISTEN TO THE 930!
I literally drive like this around 1AM at night to get a good feel of the streets when their empty and man lemme tell you it's fucking awesome it really clears up your mind💯

Nice sound from that blue speed devil...
Sweet wheels, but I still love the 277 midnight cruise video the best! My 996 is an outlaw homage to Magnus. Hope you get back up here to Monterey for car week!
Those wheels are incredible! It's hard to make a Porsche better, comes effortlessly to walker.
Nice little cruiser
Magnus Walker drives like a boss.
No background music while driving, nice job
Beautiful model of 911
Very cool...
Ha! What was I saying?
Love LA, and I love that Magnus gets it here.
love the sound! real pumpin to ride the beast
That Porsche is awesome. Makes me want to strap the GoPro on my truck and do some night footage through downtown LA. Great vid guys!

Try watching the video with captions on. Every time he hits the throttle and the muffler is crackling, the captions read “applause”.
fifteen52 does it again!!! BEAUTIFUL WHEEL GUYS!!!!
Good Job! I will look for more and more...
Love it, love it, love it! Awesome footage done to perfection. And what a car!
gorgeous rim. modern take on a classic design. love it.
Magnus knows how to make them perfectly. Great video!
Great Film , Thanks Magnus
The most beautiful sound I ever heard. 💔
Makes me want to take on LA with the subie after hours. Nice vid
Why the hell do I like this man so damn much
Just EPIC !! The video is brilliant and you guys made it just long enough to get the flavor and then wait for the oncoming episodes. Brilliant. Loved it.
I Love downtown L.A.
It's strange and eerie at 3am. Ghost town with extreme randomness happening all around...
How is the Wilshire Grand tower coming along? We need more downtown apartments like NY and Chicago so there would be more people in the city at night.
Me too, but never been there :) But i hope, one day :)

as a German, thanx for that fine porsche-view :-)
That Audio at beginning was so trippy
Damn, looks like one swell time! Guess I gotta move to LA.
great job on the wheels, Brad & Matt - it's not easy to make something new that will work on the classic curves of a 930
AWESOME video!!!!!
Lovely video
The BEARDS! Guy in the middle, STAGE1. Guy to the left, STAGE2. Magnus Walker, epic STAGE3! LOL
Awesome video! Loved the city shots. Such a beautiful sound.
Such Nostalgia to the japanese anime version! This is byfar the most artistic video ive seen so far! Amazing Job!
Thank you!
That Sounds Epic just Awesome 🏁🏁🏁😎😎🏁🏁🏁
It reminds me the movie Collateral. Beautiful.
Magnus, what is the second song on the video, started around 2:10, music for a late night blast...
that noise man awesome

New drinking game: every time Magnus says "iconic" in one of his videos take a shot!
Cool dude & epic machine!
Downtown LA at night would be good for some spiriting driving in an urban location.
