    Can you sleep with the back brace on? I only experience my back pain at night when lying on my back. I need some pressure taken off my back while sleeping to get rest. I've tried pillows and back support contraptions but have always been curious about these back braces. Do they really work? Can it be used in bed? How do you clean/wash them?

    The high price one is not available in US. Do you still recommend it? Any updated link for a similar one? I'll research but just figured I'd ask as well.

      Hi, thanks for the feedback. I have now invested in a good microphone after bouncing around lots of useless ones, so now my new videos should have great sound :)

    Thanks for the advice Coby, I've been having back issues since Hyelm days, so getting bored with gimmicks and spending unnecessary money, nearly 13,000 pounds sterling spent on various equipment /treatment, etc. it's not as bad these days but would like something that will assist on the days that I can't be bothered to exercise on. I will purchase the cheap one as I was already considering that model anyway.

    Wonderful review.. My question is since i was going to buy a decompression belt I was wondering if I should get heat or not. My condition is mild stenosis, disc degeneration, stenosis, bulging and osteoporosis... Thank-you very much

      Hi Marika, personally I don’t like heat over the spine as it tends to increase inflammation... I would opt for the one without heat and use a hot water bottle or similar on the muscles either side of the spine.
      Warmest wishes, Coby

    I'm considering to buy the diskdr belt but it's quite pricey, is it worth it?

  • @atefelhadi1

    thank u very much 4 exploring this solution, but, does this belt lead us to a complete resolution to the problem. I mean is this an alternative instead of going through operations?

    • @SootheClinic
      @SootheClinic  4 роки тому +1

      Hi, no this is definitely not an alternative to an operation. It is just designed to decompress the disc, helping it to heal. It can be used as part of a complete management program if you are trying to avoid an operation but on its own it only has a small part to play

      An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. 🌎✨
      Much like with anything that we do with our bodies: working out, body strengthening practices, and rehab, most anything that we do in the early stages can greatly help to alleviate and help the body to recover on to the road of wellness then if we had done nothing at all.
      I would say, start early, practice what you can, go gradual, and practice persistence to see the most optimal results. 😊🌎✨

    Hello, thanks for the great video. Do you need to lie down or anything special when wearing the belt or can you put it on and carry on with your day? Also what is your opinion on getting in a pool and putting a pool noodle or floats under your arms and letting your feet and legs dangle? Thanks in advance, cheers.

    • @SootheClinic
      @SootheClinic  4 роки тому +1

      Hi, personally I think it’s good to stop and take a break from ‘life’ while decompressing the discs to maximise the effect. You can of course wear it ‘on the go’ to get you through the day, but it’s good to give the disc a real break a few times during the day. Yes I love the noodle idea - anything to put traction though the spine will help ease the pain of a disc bulge. Hope this helps. Warmest wishes, Coby

    • @TheOneTheyCallDean
      @TheOneTheyCallDean Рік тому

      It definitely helps to lie down while doing this, but that's the beauty of the belts; you're able to take them with you and receive some support wherever you go. 😊🌎✨

    How about hanging on a pull up bar with relaxing the legs. I have a pull up bar fixed at a hight so that only my toes can touch the floor when I hang and relax. Afterwards, I feel an a amazing relief in the back.

    • @TheOneTheyCallDean
      @TheOneTheyCallDean Рік тому +1

      Most definitely my friend. 😊
      Hanging, pulling, or stretching, are definitely some of the best ways to obtain positive traction and alleviate the pressure of our disks.
      Stay well out there! 😊🌎✨

    Hi Colby, I am 68 yrs old and I have suffered from spinal stenosis and scoliosis of the lumbar area for some 20yrs now. I have had various surgeries including decompression and stabilisation, I should have had reconstructive surgery last May but due to overlying vascular problems it was cancelled and I’m not sure if anything can be done. I normally have pain management epidural injections but due to the corvid problems they have been cancelled. I wondered whether these or similar items might help relieve the nerve pains in my legs as I can’t stand for more than a few minutes and spend most of my day in a recliner, the problem is I already have quite a bad posture when I’m stood due to the pain and get around the house on sticks. I try to keep reasonably fit by using an exercise bike as the cycling position is similar to my stoop, any advice would be appreciated, thanks Brian.

      Hey Brian, this product works for a lot of people with similar problems. It's worth it to give it a shot. Most stores that sell this offer 30 day trial or something along those lines. I wish you good health, man, take care.

      1995yuda Hi, thanks for taking the time to reply to my question, I think it might be worth giving it a try even if I only get some temporary relief from the nerve pain which is untouchable by opioids and the like. Thanks again, take care. Brian.

    • @SootheClinic
      @SootheClinic  4 роки тому +2

      Hi Brian, Apologies for my delay replying, I have only just seen your comment. Yes, I do think it is worth trying this for your situation. Any way you can introduce regular decompression to your spine will help to take pressure off the nerves. Please do check with your physiotherapist first though, as I am not privy to your individual case, and many things can cause a physio to advise you against even the simplest things. This is a very gentle product, and in theory shouldn't cause you any problems at all, but you must check with someone who knows your case and has your scans in front of them. Warmest wishes, Coby

      Soothe Clinic Thanks for your reply Coby, no need for apology I think I will get in touch with my GP and book an appointment with a Physio so he can check me over, I hope it’s favourable as any degree of pain relief would be better than none. Thanks Coby.

    does this belt really help for herniated or disc bulging? I have both and still confused on buying this belt.

    • @TheOneTheyCallDean
      @TheOneTheyCallDean Рік тому

      I would say that it does. Most any traction device will offer some relief by taking off some of the pressure of your discs to allow them to heal.
      If you live in the states and you're still on the fence about getting one of these, Amazon has remarkably similar clones available for $20. (I just ordered one myself for my lower back pain 😉)
      I think the only thing you really have to worry about is if you may be too skinny or too large around your waist to try it on haha. Blessings. 😊🌎✨
