This car came to me with the Airbag light flashing, sometimes would go solid, and would alternate between both states.
An easy fix in the end, after scan the car the code point me straight to the culprit.
Not always is this easy!

Thanks for this I have the same issue I notice one of the plugs feels wiggly but I was driving when I reached under and felt for it, so I will have a better look today. The seats were changed about 4 months ago so maybe an issue was caused.

thanks for video on IDS what I usually do is go into the data logger for the airbag/restraint module and list the pids in connection in ohms, wiggle the them and watch the fluctuate whilst graphing them, any way u fixed it without that so well done, cheers, sandy

Hello, i have the same issue, do you know if the airbags will deploy when the light is blinking or dont they? Because its only an orange light.
Also what programm are you using? When i read the fault codes on my ecu it tells me no fault codes detected.
Normally the airbag system is deactivated if the light is on... which means there is a fault with the system....
I am using IDS....

@@LMAutoRepairs thanks for the quick reply, i found that the flashing light was blinking 2-3, but i couldnt find the error codes for fiesta online. One ford site said it might be a problem with the passenger airbag being grounded, another said low voltage which might be more plausable since i still habe the original battery build in, but its still in excellent shape.
Anyways, after not finding anything on the ecu, the airbag light has suddently stopped blinking. One thing thats very weird is, if i turn the key to position 2, where all the cluster light should light up (right?) The airbag light only light up 10% of the time.
Really dont know what to do, but the problem is gone as of right now...

hello I have problem i hope you will help me out wit it it's apically with Hyundai cars all models do not work on DS708 so what suitable solutions for problems like these even i can not get trouble code

If work in a lot of hyundai cars, just get hold of the hyundai scanner...
As for the ds708, it's weird that it doesn't work on any model...
I have already scanned a few with no problems...
Make sure you have the latest updates installed.

I had a problem with my fiesta. My cigarete lighter didnt work. Ive found the problem and removed broken fuse. Then another problem. When i tried to start the car nothing happened its like there is no power. Then randomly everything is okay. And now airbag icon is lighting. I think i will go to car electrician. From little problem to another. And everything from that damn car lighter fuse. Amazing. 🤣

Do some one have an idea ? The airbag light don’t want to go, I cleaned the plugs under the front seats with a special spray but the light still come :((((

They all refer to different things...
I would check the connections at the module itself...
