Your observations are on point👍 I think many guppy breeders/hobbyists don't recognize or understand these behaviors, and as such suffer unnecessary losses and frustrations.
Plzzzz replyy I was so scared. When i put the female back into the tank she hid btwn rocks. Then the male found her and it kept chasing her. The female was so scared. The male is matured but the female was much bigger than the male. Female one was pregnant and was put to the breeding cage for a long time. Is that why the male attacking her perhaps mating? The question is is it normal would the female guppy will be stressed? Is the guppies mating or attacking?
That behavior of guppies does not have a specific timeline, it depends on the condition of the guppy and the condition of your tank (many hiding places)
Are the males chasing the females or are the females chasing each other? If the tank is too empty or many males are chasing the same female, you should separate the males and add a hiding place for them.
@@prathamkolekar3209 Pay attention to the smaller guppies, if they cannot compete for food and are being bullied, separate them into another tank or provide enough food for all
Thanks for your information. But can I ask you a questions, I have 2 male and 1 female . It kept 2 babies 4 days ago and I think again it's pregnant. Will they mate still if the females are pregnant

that's completely normal my friend, if the conditions in the tank are good she will be fine, it's male mating behavior
I have one female guppy and one male, the female Always stay on the top and the other always under the tank. They don't want to know each other
It's a sign of stress, or it could mean she's about to give birth.
@@GuppyChannel I just had them home yesterday 😀 today they are swimming together.
how long does the chasing last?

@@GuppyChannel they’ve been chasing for an hour. is it due to stress bc i added new things to the tank?

Why my both female guppies are fighting?
they are fighting for its position in the tank, the winners will usually get to eat more food
@@GuppyChannel then what should we do in that situation

@@GuppyChannelIf we bring one male guppy, will it affect the fighting? Like will it increase?
Bro thumbnail guppy name?

why my female guppy is chasing male guppy
Sometimes there are some very aggressive females, they will attack the males
Thanks for your information.

Just had to get rid of one guppy that kept on harassing the other fish .. hated that mfk
It's a good way to help rebalance your tank.
My male guppy killed the other male despite the 2 to 6 male female ratio. At least I know. Thank you robot woman.
Sometimes guppies are extremely aggressive and it won't be like anything you've ever known
