- A vid from my old man-cave. I didn't publish it before because I thought I could one day do it even better. Well I was wrong. This is as good as I can do it. A tribute to probably the only real Dutch composer that ever lived.
heerlijk!
Rogier zit weer mee te genieten! Heel mooi!
Bedankt Bart.
Wow, I really liked that!
I didn't know Rogier was a composer too. I only know him as a conductor. (And he was sublime in that too.)
Reminds me to put your album on, again. Still one of my favorite instrumental albums!
Yes, he did film scoring (this example is a bit from Soldaat van Oranje) and also wrote some of the material for the Metropole orchest when he was conducting.
Muy bueno Skrie, veo algún sinte nuevo por ahí...
Un saludo!
I've added the Behringer Pro-800 because it was cheap and processes Polyphonic Aftertouch. It sounds just as tiny and feeble as the Deepmind. Behringer should make these synths a little more expensive and add a better amplifier. The signal to noise ratio is just bullshit.
Your lead sound is very similar to a breath controller, you are probably using after touch. Have you ever tried a midi breath control? It totally changed the way I play and enjoy my synthesizer!
I've certainly thought about it. But this is Polyphonic Aftertouch, and I don't see how a breath controller could beat that. Now I can play my instrument with both hands and the pressure applied by each finger affects the expression.
@@skrie with a keyboard, even if it is polyphonic aftertouch, you cannot express a fast TKTKTKTKTK with a brass sound for example. It is another world. If you don't need it, perfect.
@@daroanvimusen I can see that. But I find playing monophonic a struggle.
@@skrie No no, you can play chords, and really it's amazing, so organic
@@daroanvimusen How will you pick what note gets the expression?
