For a pretty old game you can really tell how much care and detail was put into it. The devs obviously wanted it to do good and if they saw this video I’m sure they would be very happy.
The best part is that the dev team only had 7 people in total, and they made one of the best games of all time. Most of the people who worked on the game either already had major roles in the series, or just got the job and ended up getting a major role in Nintendo as a whole.

this game will always have a special place my heart. I remember watching my brother for countless hours play this game because I was too young to understand videogames. the pure joy I had watching and wanting to see more is what keeps this game so high on my list. I've played the game myself, however I am yet to finish it

Watching Dan play this warms my heart. My older brother used to play this is me and my other older brother (he's a year older than me). I remember watching him play this at his apartment when we were little. He still plays these kinda games despite having three kids now

Dude, I just got done with a game I was playing at age 3. Despite my obliviousness to the story and general gameplay, it was my absolute favorite out of all the games I had. It was called “Star wars: Force Unleashed” and it is an absolute classic. It’s funny that Dan just did this as I put away my console right now from completing the game. Keep up the good work, Dan! 🤟🏼
BRO I LOVED FORCE UNLEASHED WHEN I WAS YOUNGER!! I replayed “Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension” over a weekend last year, and I’ve actually been thinking about replaying Force Unleashed sometime soon.
I played the force unleashed on my Wii this summer and will play the second game in a few weeks. Running around and using overpowered force powers was the best.
@@CanadianMoose what’s what I played it on, and to me it was better than the regular Xbox 360 version cause you actually get to move around and it’s way more immersive.

Impressive how well Super Mario World's music holds up. Compared to the Mega Drive (still really good), which uses FM synths, it's primarily sample-based (albeit at a lower bitrate to save space). I suppose it's why Super Mario World's music sounds so timeless.

It may not be a proper original SNES with RGB and an upscaler… but props for supporting an official release and using the original controller for a more authentic experience. Super Mario World is a darn good game to start with.

I actually have a Super Nintendo that my parents pretty much gave me and One of the games I/we have is super Mario world and it’s been a huge part of my childhood and seeing one of my favorite UA-camrs from my childhood and still to this day play that same game is just so amazing ❤ I even still have an old box tv and a combination dvd/vcr player but the player doesn’t work anymore sadly
I’ve said this a lot on other channels, but I always love people revisiting their childhood games.

I would love to see Dan cover retro games because it's something a lot of modern UA-camrs don't cover as much. Also sonic frontiers story dlc. A video on that would be neat.
