I find the underground base with alarms pretty cool. I would probably put it either manual or with tripwires.

Dan, it's been 8 years since my friend and I, became your fan. Honestly we accidentally played one of your vids while messing with TV until we keep watching over and over returning one of the vids when your not posting a new one. I have bedrock edition in Minecraft(I play on switch so I don’t have a choice I think)
Here’s why I sometimes wish I could have Java.
I saw millions of UA-camrs destroying the end island with a tnt duper flying machine and then replacing it with amazing builds
Wanted to try it out for myself so I followed a tutorial.had my dreams crushed when I found out you can’t do that in bedrock-
I want to try hardcore but I can’t do that(idk if it’s just for Java or not)
You can’t use slabs to crawl into one block spaces you have to use water(meaning you can’t do that machine that breaks bedrock)
You can’t stand on boats.
I believe that is it.
Something interesting: the reason the one person covered everything in slabs is because they’re not “solid blocks”, so mobs can’t spawn on them. This is reasonably known as “spawnproofing”
Well considering the slabs reach a lot further than just the house, coupled with the melon cliff and purple fog in the background, I’d assume that the slabs weren’t all placed by him but rather generated naturally, as this is most likely the April fools infinity snapshot from a year or two ago, and this is just a randomly generated dimension.

actually, they were using a block randomizer, as you can see, birch slabs replaced grass blocks, path blocks replaced dirt, and melon replaced stone

4:15 Wandering Traders are meant to provide you with items that are exclusive to certain biomes, which is why they give you different saplings, coral, nautilus shells, plants, and other weird blocks. If you already have access to those biomes then his trades aren’t very useful, but if you are having a hard time finding a savanna, a coral ocean, jungle, a slime, seeds for your farm, etc. then he can come in handy. He can also sell packed ice and blue ice, which is great for boat traveling if you can get a lot of them, which is hard without Silk Touch. Nautilus shells are nice too.
Of course, if you already have access to the biomes that provide you with these items, he isn’t as useful. Perhaps if he sold mycelium, that would be pretty cool because he does sell podzol.

yeah, i have to agree there. when i was really young i remember playing the minecraft wii u edition and i killed a horse and the sound it made scared me so bad i burst into tears and ran straight too my mum.
the same thing happened when i killed a donkey because the donkey dying noise is demonic.

Just a bit of info from a Bedrock player- while mouse/keyboard is definitely more intuitive, controller players can up their sensitivity to turn faster. Also, the random deaths are definitely an edge case. I’ve played Bedrock since launch, and have only ever had one random death- and it could technically have been explained by server lag. We’re way buggier than Java -I’ll never deny that- but we aren’t THAT unplayable. xD

Are you sure Bedrock isn't that unplayable? I'm a Bedrock player myself, and I'm not so sure it is playable... its nickname _is_ "bugrock" edition, after all!
Java is so laggy bedrock definitely beats Java with better render distance and rtx but Java will always have the best mods

4:45 the position marker is a certain setting in bedrock, that can be turned off... To identify between java and bedrock, the particles in java will face flat towards the screen, but in bedrock, they will face the camera position

The cords and the auto save chest are a choice, you can toggle them in world settings. (on bedrock of course)

Bedrock is pretty much all I've ever played, since I started on ps3 in 2011 as a kid and moved on to ps4 when that came out and I never had a PC till recently. Java just feels weird to me but I guess I'm just not used to it. I don't think it matter too much what version you're playing tho because it's still minecraft and still a really good time.
Java has much more benefits than Bedrock but the coordinates always showing in bedrock is an amazing detail

The chorus fruit thing is just regular stuff though, pretty sure no matter what version is if you eat chorus fruit while in the air it teleports you to the nearest available safeblock, aka the ground
The bug where you randomly die to fall damage in bedrock happened to me except I had a sharpness 4 looting 3 knockback 2 and fire aspect 2 that I found in a bastion and I lost it to the lava I was so devastated

Same, it's been months and I still awe at the massive, beautiful caves I explore. I take a good couple of minutes taking in the shape of the cave before remembering that I was mining.

Dan, the horn blew when one guy was left to alert the villagers and you that the raid isnt over yet, i also belive it tells you where the last guy is depending on where you heard it from

Been feeling really burnt out of Minecraft lately and this video has inspired me to pick it back up again
(As a bedrock edition PC player.) I don't think they're gonna remove java, Mojang knows if they remove java then they will lose TONS and TONS of players/youtubers and the game would die fast.
(Btw 7:20 the horn blew when there was 1 left because if you don't complete the raid fast enough, the horn will keep blowing so you could find the pillagers easier)

11:48 i have built a containment cell for the warden at 1 point and a containment cell for every mob in the game (mobs from the end couldn't figure out how so i instead contained them in their home) although i did try to rebuild the ancient city by hand and remove all the sculk basically making the ancient city livable (after spending 5-8 months rebuilding, mining sculk, figuring out what villagers should live in the ancient city based on the loot and the structures and equipping villagers with some of the best armour using dispensers so they would never die) i did however have a survival world where a created a enchanted golden Apple but never ate it and this was before they renamed the enchanted golden Apple into the enchanted apple (basically having the last enchanted golden Apple name in bedrock edition)

Hey Dan, as a Bedrock player I can comfirm that you actually sprint REAL fast up stairs if you spam jump button aswell, so it's not an effect, they are literally running that fast up the stairs

(3:39) Dan... There's a such thing as _changing the sensitivity._ You can move quickly on console so long as your sensitivity is set correctly, which it should be if you play often. We are able to turn around just as quickly as people on computer.

Dan you should play a game called fears to fathom, it’s a home invasion game and certain things you do can effect the different endings and it can be quite scary.
Btw on consol there is a sensitiveity and you can up that go turn faster

4:33 its called "paper puppet" we can toggle it but its been tjere so long it feels wrong to turn it off
At 4:37 the cords aren't always there; you can change it so you can have it there or not, same with the paper doll (The small version of the player you see).
10:35 thats not technically a bedrock glitch is called rubber banding and it happend to be in my world it results when lag wont let u take damage and then it all adds up at once it can happen in java too

In bedrock it just delays the fall damage sometimes. So they might have taken multiple big falls before the clip.
That happens but there's another bug where if youre at the edge of a block, the game mistakes you as you fell.

something you didnt mention about console is that when you open the menu it doesnt pause even if your in the world by yourself so you dont have time to think about what your gonna do

A thing about bedrock i die to is when i tower, and i go fast, my block doesnt place and i go in the block as soon as it comes back, making me fall to my death, another thing is the movement, i had these vrokenish controllers (they work kinda fine) and it usually bugs out in the inventory, making me have to do cheat codes (i just move the joystick a lot), snd then it works
