During our time,(2019/20) we had numerous jobs from the hospitals in the UK and they reimbursed all the costs we incurred during the process and the most interesting thing was that they gave us £500 cash advance.
Fortunately for me, I had to leave the UK to the U.S. after almost 3 years in the UK.
The U.S. is by far the best place for nurses to work.

She is right, my wife and her friends only paid for the exams and classes. Their company paid for everything including the flight ticket from Kumasi Airport to Kotoko and then to the UK. I as a dependant only paid for my ticket and visa fee

Getting job offer in uk from 2018 to 2022 was easy after your ToC and English proficiency test. But since 2023 till date, it’s been very difficult for people who have even passed all tests. People even lost the validity of their test so they had no option than to be paying for job offer. Just thank God if you’re lucky to get job offer without spending a penny

Brigitte, lemme start off by complimenting your beauty, you are truly gorgeous and I love your dimples; do nothing to your complexion, please.
Now to my point, I'm pretty sure the reason your relocation costs were not from your pocket was because the hospital you were working for paid the agency that got you to them.
23:00 to 23:25, I'm curious, how's your friend able to be going on vacation here and there?
Is it because s/he has less workload or s/he's left the field?

The hospitals that recruited nurses both private and the NHS bare the cost of the expenses, please.
My colleague is still working as a nurse with the NHS, and he uses his annual leaves for the vacations. Thank you

What's the name of her sponsor. My wife is having a diploma in midwifery. Any help to get her there

I'm a mental health nurse, and unfortunately, my employer employs only mental health nurses since the hospitals are mental health hospitals. She can try searching on NHS Jobs UK. I learnt Scotland is recruiting, or she can try Ireland as well.

before I moved to Ireland, I advised my gf who is a registered nurse to move here as a nurse. I paid for her ielts exams twice but she failed. I advised her to write again but this time, I will learn the exams with her but she thought I was being hard on her. I was even ready to assist her with funding the whole process from exams to flight here. I took my time, did all the research myself on the internet just because I wanted her to come in as a nurse. Later, she said she would rather move here as a carer but I declined because the carer job is a very draining and difficult . Now, she thinks I am a bad person. guys, am I a bad person?

@joekze You are not bad at all. At least you were eager to support her.

You are not a bad person o
I sef would appreciate it if someone was being this hard on me in my nursing studies.
We always need to find good opportunities for ourselves every time.
