Great video. Maybe now we can see you do some cooking with ceramic grills. That would be great!
Nice Video Brother! I have just one thought..
After all that work why not replace the gasket with some hi heat food safe calk and some replacement household range gasket? I'm thinking it might take some some work but it might last for years.? A regular 36inch range heats 700 plus degrees for self cleansing cycles for the life of the range. I've rarely see them leek unless abused. Just food for thought?
I've been selling and fixing appliances for 33 years.
Please any thoughts. Peace!
I see the main problem, at least on Kamado Joe is the self-adhiesive tape. I checked, ant it's allowed max short term temperature is 150C /300F, which you can easily exceed when doing pizzas. Or trying to clean kamado with burning. Therefore some hight temp oven gasket glue is probably better.
Answered everything I might’ve asked about this before I ever asked
I know this is an old video but would this still be a suggested product or is there a better one? I have a Big Steel Keg and need to replace my gasket.
will this be suitable for the Primo Oval XL smoker/grill? Thanks
would this work to better seal the lids alittle on say a charbroil offset or something similar
Thanks. Real clear.
Will this work on my Dyna-Glo steel offset smoker?
great vid... thanks!
hey Tom, can you recommend one for a Weber?
Like the Kettle? I wouldn't really, they aren't designed to need them, so you'll be fine without it. Spend the money on some steaks! :)
I don’t have an electric sander. Any ideas?
A drill with a wire brush or sanding pad would do the trick
will this work on the akorn or do they make different types for different ceramics? thanks
