- Perch fishing is something that everyone who fishes on the Chesapeake Bay enjoys. I grew up fishing for perch in the summertime as a kid, and I still do it just as much now. They are one of my favorite fish to eat from the Bay and are fairly easy to catch if you know the right tactics. in this video, I show you how I usually catch my perch in the summer and share tips for finding more fish. Nice work. Fished last week in the Potomac with live minnows and caught a few puppy drum and a lot of nice perch. Bigger the minnow, the bigger the fish. Thanks for the video.

Nice video! I will try using minnows next time I go fishing for perch. I used grass shrimp and have been successful catching perch.

@@joni9918 kayak fishing is a lot of fun. Might not be able to take you as far as a boat would, but it is much more intimate. I highly recommend it.
