White Perch Fishing On The Chesapeake Bay! (This Spot Was LOADED)

Let's head out on the Chesapeake Bay to do some perch fishing! In today's video I hit the water with Brady, Jordan, and Tyson to try our luck at perch fishing near Holland Point. The bite was very slow to start the day, but when the sun went down, it got red hot! Holland Point is a great location to bottom fish for perch, spot, and croaker, but you can also fish the shallows with artificial lures like we did. The surprise catches were the two puppy drum we caught and hopefully more will show up in the middle Bay this summer. Thanks for watching and make sure to subscribe to the channel!

Got a pointer for you to catch more Perch. You spend alot of time running fish from the bow to the Livewell. Just put a small 2 gallon bucket on the seat in front of you and put a mess of fish in there and only empty it when its slow. LOVE from Crabby Daddy here on the Patuxent. P.S. 2 years ago we caught 114 Nice Perch off a Pier using 3/8 Kastmasters and Beetlespins. Tight Lines my Brother and GOD BLESS

Are you just swimming the small jig or bouncing bottom? Ive tried mini 2” 1/8oz wild eye storm lures (swimming them) but haven’t found success with them yet.
