- Today, March 25, is recognized as National Medal of Honor Day, paying tribute to all those who have received the nation’s highest military award for valor.
Maj. Gen. James Livingston, U.S. Marine Corps retired, spoke to U.S. Army Corps of Engineers South Atlantic Division leadership at the division's Military Leadership Development program.
Since the creation of the award in 1863, 298 Marines have received the Medal of Honor. Additionally, 18 Medals of Honor have been awarded to @usnavy Corpsmen, along with five Navy officers serving with Marine Corps units.

@@jpturner171 thank you JP. I graduated boot camp 28 Dec 73, Plt 395, India Co, 3rd Bn, MCRD Parris Island. I went back in 2003, not much has changed. Still proud to call myself a Marine. Semper Fi from an old Marine Sgt...OUT.

I still feel like my job is not complete. After talking to my sister Yesterday it is quite evident that people are still brainwashed about USA. The Anthem says " Unstained ". I still have not accomplished my goal of Unstaining. I will not quit until " Unstained " become a reality.
I've always wanted to join the Marines. I'm just a kid so I can't join yet but I have sever ADHD so I don't even know if I can join.
