Thank you for the great lesson. Been turning segmented hollow forms / Urns for a while. Learning how to do feature rings. Great video, love your jigs. I see I'm going to have to be a copy cat.
A lovely piece there Stephen, I really like the feature ring, and the subtle finish. I have Liberon danish oil but never tried it yet but you've prompted me now. Thanks for the presentation, kind regards, Tony(UK)
Do you calculate the hours of preparation prior to actual turning? Do you sell your fantastic products and if so does the amount of calculated time have a bearing on the selling price? How can your fabulous work be obtained? I was mesmerized by the whole process!! Thank you so much!!! 06/19/23
Thanks for watching. For the wood sourcing, there are outfits that mail wood but it is more expensive. Being in Atlanta I have numerous choices on where to shop. I also have more traffic.
I believe that it was made by Delta. They also made the lathe. I want to say I bought them at a local woodworking store. It was 20 years ago, so I don;t recall which one.
Beautiful Piece and interesting process, thanks for sharing. Full View and Like 👍

what is the diameter of the zig zag segment? what thickness was each laminate within the zig zag segment?
You are easy to hear and understand.
SIR, GREAT JOB.
Get longer screws for the Cole jaws and pieces of rubber tubing to pad them. Much more secure when you don't have a flared rim to grip.
Very pretty job. I am having trouble finding pretty wood

@@WassellWoodworking thanks, I've seen Delta's midi rest. Seems there aren't many decent rests out there today
@@WassellWoodworking your magnetic handhold? Was that from Woodcraft?
Good video, lovely job on the bowl, -remember to always put up four or five still shots showing all aspects of your work at the end of the vid. Thanks
Great point. Will do next time.
Enjoyed!!
Thumbs up as well
