@@ThefacelesscreatorYtI’m sorry but I’ve been playing drums for 2 weeks and I can play the 1 year one, and the only reason I can’t do the 10 years one is because of the fast fill
I wouldn't say any of that is actually what was said. I mean it depends how much you listen to music, understand it and how good you are with rhythm. To get a basic kick snare and hihat beat can take people from a week to like 4 months. I initially play guitar and I picked up drums after 4 years of experience and I still struggled with rhythm for the first month or so.
@@majorwaveproductions you were experienced 4 years in guitar, this video is saying "10 years" of experienced "drummer". If you're new to drums, then yeah you're not gonna be instantly good at rhythm its normal. But this is 10 years dude
From me (a drummer) to a drummer, I think you need to practice more with a metronome and how to actually play in time...you still have a lot to improve on but you're doing good ig
1 year of drumming: Gotta go fast to be cool. 10 years of drumming: Actually keeping rythm and guiding the band while listening to others to know when to do what.

as someone who has been drumming for over 11 years, i can confirm that after 3 years you get bored so you challenge yourself with either metal or jazz. And you'll have gotten so addicted to cymbals you'd have at least 10
i sound amazing on an acoustic kit but its hard for me on an electric. non-musicians, please understand its difficult to translate skills to a different instrument especially fills when the drums are way smaller. electric drums are still not perfect yet
From my experience electronic drums are way better for practice since you don't get distracted since you don't get distracted easily and start grooving.
I started playing drums about 40 days ago. Some friends needed a drummer for a performance at their school, and I offered to try. Somehow I managed it, in these forty days I managed to learn to play the song "Square hammer" by Ghost perfectly. I really don't know if that's a good start as a drummer or not, but without hesitation I can say that learning to play drums is one of the most fun things I've ever done :D
10 years sounds like my mate and I after 1 month, of playing 2 times a week for an hour. Not saying we're way better than everyone else, but it's just pretty easy to get to that point if ur musically talented. If u sound like that after 10 years than u clearly done smth wrong
First of all talent doesn't exist in the drum world and you are just thinking you are good Secondly thinking you are good is a bad thing and can lower your practice time Thirdly im so fu*****ing tired of people telling me that they can't play drums just because they are not talented.
