i waterproofed my Tarp by SCOTCH GUARDING the hell out of it, it took 15 and it works great too, it was already green color... ha-yah !!! :D

It is a regular 9x11 drop cloth from Home Depot
good color, to stripe put dye in squeeze bottle and squirt it full strength. looking forward to waterproofing.
