This was the first time I believed a fighter like Batman could exist,I always thought in the comics with as cool as he is there’s no real human being who could be a such a ridiculously effective hand to hand combatant. It seemed just beyond the realm of possibility. This guy is so skilled that if I didn’t see it with my own eyes I wouldn’t believe it could be done. He’s not even a big guy either but he’s extremely dangerous with his bare hands and an absolute nightmare for an attacker. If he was attacked with someone using a 🔫 the attacker would be in more danger because of said 🔫 . At least if the assailant was unarmed he’d have a chance of walking away with his life. But to your point this guy needs to be the stuntman in the fight scenes of the next Batman movie😂
What I always find funny is the folks who will tell you one form of martial art is better than the other, or this guy could kick this guys ass if it were in this situation. And I am sure that I will be told how stupid I am, and I could care less. This is coming from someone who has trained in multiple forms, and I will tell you each one that I have trained in has its purpose and is functional in its own right. Krav, however, was not designed to pit fighters in a ring, it was designed for a military and police force that literally have to fight for survival or have a high potential to fight for survival on a daily basis. Keeping that in mind, Krav does not focus on "legal" techniques, and what you can and cannot do on the fight, because the bad guy is not going to play with any set of rules. So, if you are looking for something to just defend yourself with, then I would totally recommend Krav, and one of the main reasons why, is Krav unlike BJJ, or Judo, Tae Kwon Do, Karate, and some of the other traditional arts, do not answer a multiple attacker scenario very well, and Krav does a decent job at that. Further, with Krav, is one of the theories as to why there are not tournaments is because the minute rules are applied, the art form loses its effectiveness, and to those of you who do not understand and just blast somebody because you can, is that Krav does answer defending yourself on the ground. Remember, Krav is not an attack first type of system, it is designed as a self-defense form. And with that, yes, a person who steps into the ring that is solely a Krav fighter, will more than likely lose, because he/she does not have the ability to use every technique that they can, and are limited by their rules. I am not saying Krav is an end-all-be-all form, I am merely helping those who don't understand what Krav is about. If you want to learn how to put someone in a guillotine, or triangle choke, go learn BJJ it's awesome, and fun. And a huge competitive aspect (and I am not even talking MMA). If you want to learn how to knock someone out with a knee or a fist, go learn any of the other stand-up forms. And I am not saying either that those systems will not help in a self-defense type situation, I am saying that Krav was designed for self-defense. And there is a completely different mindset in Krav compared to BJJ or Muay Thai or any of the other popular forms that you see in UFC, or Bellator or anywhere else.
Rob Gould Jr I totally agree. I did Chinese Kempo for many years & my friends always ask me how would I do in MMA & I say IDK really we trained to hurt someone severely or even kill if need be than get the fuck outta there.
Rob Gould Jr WOW, for once some has common sense and knowledge about the martial arts instead of being a keyboard warrior lol. Thank you for sharing and explaining but for all of us who have studied the martial arts, we know someone is going to say we don’t know what we’re talking about lol
Agree with everything except for the original purpose design of self defense or not an attack first style. Its original purpose was a military attack first system to take out any hostile as quickly and efficiently as possible. It was than revamp for law enforcement and for civilian for self defense due to its effectiveness. In the original purpose it teach soldiers to become assassins, using anything to achieve their goals. Thats krav maga. Other country have similar style system too. The effectiveness of the art still relied on the user like any other art.
Lol...if you know krav maga is a mixed martial art ...but thr genre of this style is to kill not to play...it means for real world where to stab in self-defense you stab eyes...whatever takes to immobilize the opponent....research first.
@@stallio5612 I was not dogging him. I have trained in Krav for years. I understand the mentality. Be nice until it’s time not to be nice. Nothing fair or pretty about real world self defense.
Fight dirty especially if you are out numbered. I know the stuntmen are moving slower than normal, but that's done done for demonstration purposes and understood! It's just these demonstrations don't show the actual brutality and desperation of fighting for your life and the life of others, but it's still a great exhibition. You can also learn 8 to 10 techniques quickly and practice them until you are blue in the face. Then you can add 3 or more. keep adding more techniques as you progress.
@@stallio5612 That's the usual propaganda brainwashed cultists like to use, but that's not at all reality when it comes to fighting or how KM actually performs under real situations. The mere notion that you can only kill someone and not simply immobilize them or render them unconscious or somehow unable to fight is fucking ridiculous.
No offense bro but I use to box myself and was good at it.. but it's true what would he do if it was a real situation? I have no doubt that He could defend himself but that's what people want to ses...
Had a gun pulled on me once when I did security. Actually two guns. I was abducted at that time. Guess who did not try to disarm them? Yeah, me. Guess who's still alive without bullet holes 16 years later. Yeah, me again. Krav is effective in many situations, but disarming a loaded gun is a huge long shot. And more than 50% of the time you will be shot in these attempts. They should also teach how to best escape without fighting. Because that a surprisingly effective self defence tactic. I've had to fight more than once. And most of the time I've had some form of injury. But when you know you're beat, and you have the chance to leg it out of there, it's a viable option that should be taught in all realistic self defence courses. I'm not saying not to teach fighting, but to also add the option of an effective escape.
The thing, is that in israel there are many terror attacks where the terrorists are not coming to rob, they are there to kill you. You have no chance if youdo nothing
Run! That is a tactical way of not fighting and Krav Maga didn't teach you this I did. I'm partial disabled from being hurt as A Correction Officer. I hunger for getting into shape when I did minimum effort to actually go get into shape! I lost 43 lbs in two months with no exercise! So...I walk like an old person who wish I had the " Confidence " to perform and have the knowledge this guy has. Trust me there's no amount of Money worth your health and strength! If you can perform those techniques you are Blessed! I have a long road to travel, but like Bruce Lee when he got hurt, he had a made up mind to become better than he was B4 he got hurt! I have that Mission, improvment is a choice, not a Privilege!
They actually tell you in the training that the only time to ever use those techniques is when there is no other option, like you are literally going to die if you don't do anything, they always tell you if you have a gun pointed towards you always give the person what they want, there is no material item worth more than your life, the moves used in Krav Maga were designed for warfare, life or death situations, but in reality no soldier is going to fight hand to hand unless he is taken buy surprise or he some how drops his weapon, soldiers are almost always in teams, you're most likely going to use control techniques like wrist locks and judo type moves when in a security situation like arresting a suspect or whatever types of non lethal situations, but krav maga was generally designed for war, where soldiers had to be deployed within a month or a week i think, and they do teach you kidnapping survival techniques. Krav Maga global and Krav Maga world wide are the go to's for krav maga becuase their teachers worked with imi lichtenfeld and have trained SWAT and IDF soldiers and even some of our special forces units as well, I know the head teacher of krav maga world wide is in a swat unit for cop killer cases, and uses these techniques all the time. But yeah, its not bullshit, and you are totally right, gun disarming techniques are usually used as a worst case scenario or used buy soldiers who have years upon years of experience, so its not a good idea for newbies.
@@timothybright7064 Yeah, they tell you that too, they teach you about situational awareness and how to avoid getting into a fight in the first place, a lot of so called "Krav Maga" facilaties tell you they are the best and they are the official place to train and they will teach you how to take people out and kick their ass, blah blah blah, we all know those idiots. But there are only a very few that are legit, the ones that are, usually teach our military and other military's, or they have connections with police and swat units, and they usually all worked with the founder Imi lichetenfeld, those are the real guys, the only two places that I think are the best are, Krav Maga World Wide and Krav Maga Global. Both owners are police and military based. But yeah, they tell you that, to run, that is the best thing to do, but if you have no other choice, then the techniques can come in handy, only for a life or death type of thing.
As a lowly level 2 in my past, I can attest that there is a counter for every attack that uses your opponents weakness in your favor. The only “timing” was walking into his path ;)
I've seen Krav Maga applied in a street fight. It's very effective if you can control your anxiety and you're well trained like I saw with dude in Brooklyn. What surprised me, was his opponent was bigger and taller, yet he broke him down in 6 moves because big boy got to close. He left him there in the ground face flat, took his girls hand and said quietly, "Come on, I gotta go pick up my mother." 😆 🤣 😂 True story.
Really? I feel like in the chaos of a real fight this shit wouldn't work, especially against someone who is an experienced street fighter. I mean real fights are chaos, they aren't guys standing there letting you do what you want to them like in these videos.
@ralphpagan3371 I'd imagine just the increased reaction time and self confidence would be huge. Most people that aren't natural fighters freeze up because they're afraid of what's coming. Self confidence is half the battle. It reduces some of the mental noise.
@tonydimartini That's actually why it DOES work in a street fight. BECAUSE of the chaos. Krav Maga thrives in chaos and randomness, which sets it apart from rigid, rule-based martial arts.
Roy is a great role model for many in Krav Maga. Practicing Krav Maga has made me much more confident and calm I am a beginner in Krav Maga. what Roy shows is just master level it will be really honor to learn from Roy.
You still involved with Krav Maga? I start tomorrow evening. I'm 40 and ex marine and wanna get myself back in shape and learn a martial art to a black belt.
Numerous actors and actresses are gaining experience in both stunt work and martial arts...some even learn archery, horseback-riding, underwater breath-control, and the ilk... I do agree that this individual has extensive training, that he demonstrates well...~~Just me, RD
No Brian I can not relax as a person with an account on UA-cam I am obviously a professional and an expert on basically everything it is my basic right to be butthurt about everything.
What I see him do so incredibly is derived from many systems and I think that is where the Bruce Lee reference comes into play. Bruce Lee was famous for introducing the concept of not limiting your fighting techniques to one style but do what works best for you instead.
Nice moves and crisp technique, but I've never been in a street fight where the bad guy throws a punch and just stands there with his arm outstretched, waiting patiently to jump in the air when you do your "move"
These are show moves for demonstration. They're more flashy for the public. Most useful KM techniques are simple one-two motions and not this long and combined. After the first two steps the other guy is already stunned or hurt and you can run away or do whatever. The rest of the steps shown here (with the gun etc.) are merely for show.
yeah these are all show moves. i work with a guy that teaches krav maga. it's really to the point when you are in the situation. short and effective techniques that will either take the attacker by surprise or leave them crying on the floor holding his balls. i was also taught by another other krav maga guy training. in my last job. he taught how regular people in the classroom setting could take the right steps into taking down a possible shooter. the scenario involved many different ways of doing this.
There is no doubt that some of these techniques are highly impractical and he is indeed doing all of this on non-resisting opponents. On the other hand, he is clearly highly skilled and would not be someone to mess with.
Scary shit. That is why I personally practice the art of fighting without fighting. People with skills like this don't need to fight but only for defense.
I may stand corrected, but I believe many special forces use this defence system. I know for sure my country's elite use this. "British sas" surely it's choosen for a reason besides what's obvious in this video. Amazing!
Roy is a great sensei. I love his classes. Super nice guy and he cares about his students really learning. I just wished we could have more but all this Pandemic messed up my training
I did a bit of commando Krav Maga and I'm a 15yo Kuyokushin Karate practitioner, I always loved the defence system of the Krav Maga for it's quick and effectiveness response to aggression, but I felt as a sport it was missing the fun of doing "fight". I see your style has both and I think it look like a real complete martial art for every taste ! :D congratulation, I wouldn't mess with you.
Very impressive. I see a lot of flak in the discussions on the training partners in the video but that's what they are there for, training. It's a good training partner that let's you work on and demonstrate proper technique. In my Krav classes, we have classes specifically for learning to be a good training partner. In my opinion, they did a good job.
Dalton Mckellips because that's sport fighting and bound by rules and if you wanna talk about fighting as a profession the Israeli army is trained in Krav Maga need to hear more than that
Dalton Mckellips pro fighters preffer mma/jiujitsu/boxing and stuff because they are sportsmen. Krav maga is no sport. You wouldnt want to go for submissions, grappling and stuff on the street. Im a Krav maga practitioner and i was into mma before that so i know the difference!
For all of you on here saying that this would never work, that it is all planned out, it does work. Every time you go to train, every hour you put in, goes forward to actual skills. It might be planned out at the demo, that's why it's called a demo, but all of those skills go forward to times that you will need them. If you practice enough, there's nothing you can't do. Loved the video. Greetings from Oslo Krav Maga.
Then let's see it actually working. Put in a guy there who has no incentive for losing or letting him win, who actually wants to beat his ass, and see if these techniques work.

Absolutely amazing.... what I'd give to train with you! You must have practiced years and years to get that good! Respect, if someone mugs this guy,I'd pay to see it they'd have the shock of there life!
These are mostly Katas guys. Ease up on the insults. If he got attacked on the street I think he would be in good shape against most. People of his caliber and character don't attack people for no good reason. In battle, I'd like him by my side. As for this mixed martial arts demo, I think it's superb. From my perspective, these tests quickly turn extremely offensive rather than defensive which is exactly correct and the way it should be. I'm an old former ex-marshall arts practitioner of five different styles and appreciate the amazing effort put into this test. CravMaga is great. Well done.
I can agree with that...I just have 1 questions: what is the point of weapons? Is it not extension of attack (ie range). A lot of this is well katas...the idea that gun attacker is going to walk up and allow you proximity is niave. Fine if he does...but the least amount of gun training eliminates most of these katas. Distance is your friend...ask a fighter pilot. War is Art.
Marshall-arts..is that a new fighting system? For someone who's trainined in 5 different types you'd think that you'd have learned to spell it..Martial arts!!
Keep coming back to this EPIC demonstration by Roy....Year after year..... My Sencie who I trained with is Bad Ass..However, be learned from the best!!!
@@Thongsai sorry to tell you but just because someone doesn't fight professional doesn't mean they can't fight. Usually only UFC fanboys that don't train or fight say ignorant shit like you said.
I don’t see how anyone could tell he is fast very fast. I’m sure he could not succeed in that many disarms in real life but if I was him that fast and had a gun to my head one of us is a dead man that’s for damn sure. I would put my money on him!!!
Ahhhh Roy is ex-Military & trains Soldiers in Krav Maga all over the world to use in REAL LIFE Hand to Hand Combat... He also offers Private Anti Terrorism Training... I'm pretty sure he knows what he is doing 🤣
Most of the moves resemble with silat + judo element. So Krav Maga is more or less a compilation of self defense system that have already exist with brand new name. The only new, is the way KM take over gun from his opponent.
That is correct. It was developed by a German/Jewish athlete who survived the night of broken glass and fled to what's modern-day Israel. Israel is the end of the Silk Road, so martial arts from China to the Middle East pass thru their. He chose movements from several more aggressive styles with the purpose of developing a martial art for fighting against multiple opponents who may be armed simultaneously. During the night of broken glass, he saw professional boxers and Olympic level Greco-Roman wrestlers get taken down that way (by Hitler's brown shirts) and built an entire martial arts system around that nightmarish experience. It's also worth mentioning that Silat and Kempo are both examples of mixed martial arts like Krav Maga. Kempo literally translates to "mixed fighting."
Absolutely brilliant kravist. The direct approach of retzev, and the simplicity of the approach to the martial goal and focus of the entire Krav Maga system is the very essence thereof. Definitely among the most effective martial systems in the modern world, without question, and a superb exponent and teacher thereof depicted here. Max respect. Walk in peace. 🙏
ratonL Krav Maga has adapted the judo grading system with three categories: Practitioner, Graduate, Expert. Each of the categories, which are often abbreviated to their initials, has 5 ranks. Each rank or two is usually associated with a belt. Grades P1 through to P5 (White, Yellow, Orange, Green belts) are the student levels and make up the majority of the Krav Maga community. After P5 are G1-G5 (Green, Blue, Brown belts), and in order to achieve Graduate level the student has to demonstrate a proficiency in all of the P level techniques before advancing. The majority of instructors hold a G level grade and are civilian instructors. One usually achieves a black belt once they've reached E1 although it's common to find Krav Maga practitioners to have Black Belts with a G5 ranking as the administration of achieving E1 is a nightmare. At the end of the day though, its not about belts. Its about how well you can execute your techiques in real life situations under duress in order to protect yourself.
Don’t doubt he’s a bad ass , but so are pro wrestlers. Not sure about all the gun disarms though . It would be interesting to see live action with a blank rounds and see if they got shots off.
Krav Maga has its roots in the Israeli military and is often used as a basis for law enforcement defensive tactics training; thus the gun disarms. Krav Maga is purely a defensive fighting technique and not an "art" as other traditional martial arts are.
Wrestling is nothing compared to Krav maga. Krav is a fighting style that you do not want to mess with. It is to insure that you can defend yourself against crucial events and attacks, unlike wrestling where you just tackle a guy and not do too much.
@@skynetg9567 lol. Yeah pro wrestlers dont just tackle each other dude. Probably better not to have an opinion on something you dont even watch. Doesnt help when selling a ninja routine.
Againts un arm person, baby's, Woman, teenagers, older man, going to pray with no attention to fight, walk in the street and being followed by 5 armed men's using krav maga. Damn what a warrior.
What you say here has some truth to it, but I couldn't concentrate thru most of it due to the fact that all I could think about was kicking your ass ☝️🤣👍👉🥋⌨👊👊👊
I've trained under Roy and the first belt test was 12 hours. This is a video of a belt test and those sparring sessions of body shots are real. That shit hurts.
You noticed that too? But the title got us here. :) Bruce Lee's name still draws people in. Yet the REALITY was as great a "martial artist" as he was he was not a "fighter" and all his alleged "challenges" and street confrontations were ALL heresy. Isn't it odd that there's no video footage of 1 of these "real fights"?? No photos. No newspaper clippings where the police were called in to stop the fight...arrest the instigator. Like in a Karate Kid film (no police). If a "martial artist" never steps in a squared or octagonal circle...he or she is not proven. Thus INCOMPLETE!! Bruce refused to compete because just one loss would damage his rep...he couldn't afford that. He would no longer be considered the "God" he still is today by many. Still featured on covers of US martial arts magazines decades after his death (I'm sure all over the world too). Why there so so many biographiies on DVD/BluRay. Films about his life. Etc. Why people are still using his name for their own promotion... Imho the true "Bruce Lee of Krav Maga" is an operative that will remain anonymous. We'll never hear or see him (or her)...for their own safety. No true SPEC OPS person wants to reveal themselves in a UA-cam video. Isn't that sort of "SPEC OPS 101"??
Fantastic demos. Great skill. I do Japanese Ju Jitsu and Kapap. Great to see so much JJJ here. I do temper my comments here because these demos with his compliant uke look and are amazing, but a real fight is unlikely to pan out like these staged scenarios. Often techniques like these can only be applied after some serious shock and awe disorientation. These guys know this though.
He's combining traditional Japanese Jujitsu with Krav Maga to create what he calls Israeli Jujitsu. The first Krav Maga instructor studied wrestling, boxing, gymnastics and they added more and more as they found effective techniques to end a fight and get out of the situation.
@kommisar re-read what I said mate, I didn't state a single thing about movies or war or any of that. All I said was this guy combined two arts and labelled it under a variation of one. History also supports what I said about the first instructor/founder. The rest of what you said has no place in what I said.
Why would he do that? You might as well say "When Michael Jordan challenges Beckham at soccer then I'll be impressed." Two totally different arts intended for two totally different purposes.
You might like to know that his background is mainly BJJ hehe he uses more BJJ mixed into his Krav than a lot of fighters I know. I don't think he's the Bruce Lee of anything, but he is definitely skilled. Demos aren't an actual show of how he would fight in real life. He is demonstrating techniques and such without injuring opponents, not to mention that control and timing are essential to prevent injury to your uke when demonstrating. Sure, it isn't just like a movie where it flows so nicely, but it serves thr intended purpose.
@@girlshavewieners2006 on because of rules maybe, I'd still say he would give them a run for their money. In a street fight, my money is on this guy. I've taken two so called mma guys myself out in a street fight, this guy I'd be more careful !
GirlsHave Wieners If they fight by mma or boxer rules probably yes. But a real fight probably not. Krav Maga is not really a sport, at krav maga you learn how to nutrolise or kill the opponent. At Krav Maga you learn techniques that are illigal at most other sports, Its just fighting really dirty. Thats why a lot of millitaries learn Krav Maga, nutrolise and move on and Thats also the reason why other fighters hate on Krav Maga because they know its dangerous and dirty fighting
This is how krav maga has developed. They took some tricks from other martial arts and found out new ones to form the most efficient scenario for real life situations.
A noob lol but the commenters above me are correct I've actually had a few people hold guns to my face I laugh at them and tell them if they're gonna shoot me then shoot me if not put the toy away if someone does pull the trigger oh well to late to cry about it
Can somebody please confirm whether in MMA, when being taken down, elbow strike on the person performing the take down is allowed. The back of the neck is very exposed (and vulnerable), in my humble opinion. The best martial art is the one that wins the fight (or get ones out of a sticky situation - yes, including R'un)!
@@bvvb7592 Many thanks for confirming. I almost injured a young guy when he tried that trick (taking down) on me - back in the early 70's. I am glad now I didn't strike the back of his neck hard at the time - I would have regretted it for the rest of my life. Stupid things we did when we were young!
I’ve seen a lot of these types of demonstration videos of different fighting techniques, but this is the first one where I was extremely impressed even though it wasn’t live sparring. This guy is lighting fast and very lethal. I think he would destroy those guys doing Systema.
+Jake Baine So what you are saying is you have not done a martial arts grading in your life. Most of this is demonstrating that he knows particular techniques. Krav Maga students also train full contact sparring. They just did not show any of it in this video.
That's the big flaw in Krav Maga you assume the other guy is not a martial arts fighter, but a thug looking for a quick cash or a drunk pushing you or threatening you with a weapon. Competition makes you stronger this is why Krav Maga is not a martial art and why the hell do they use Chinese letters on their belts?
Jake Baine try to fight back with your arm trapped and stretched like that, believe me...you can barely move in such a situation, not to mention that he's incredibly fast.
there's no way to tell until he fights MMA. There are ZERO krav maga fighters at a high level in MMA. If you train with weapons, your hand to hand is not at a high level to compete in the UFC. And if you are talking with weapons, then anyone is dangerous with a gun.
Wow. He is very good, especially knowing that it's a demonstration and he has to control his movies and doesn't want to hurt anybody. In real-life situation, he would seriously hurt the attacker pretty bad.
@@jimbeammeup9879 No it doesn't. KMG is really simplistic and easy to learn. It's meant to be useful even under stress. I'm a G2 teacher, believe me, none of those moves (except 2 choke solutions he showed) are pure KMG. His technique is great and he has really fast hands, but this is just a show.
Sebastian Alessandrello but you are very right that this is just show. When someone is attacking me, he does‘nt even have the chance to see me reacting because our techniques are simple and fast. :-)
Uh what bro? A lot of you that probably don't even practice martial arts, always have an opinion. Dude, Krav Maga(Contact Combat) consists of all these martial arts- Aikido Japanese Jujitsu Jeet Kune Do Karate Judo Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Muay Thai Kali Boxing American wrestling Firearm disarms Knife combat All combined in one. This is actually the fluidity that Bruce Lee always talked about. On being like water, learning to adapt, & to add many art forms into 1. Krav Maga is the most deadliest art form...BAR NONE!
BJJ is probably the single greatest martial art. BJJ is great for fighting with rules, locking someone on the ground, as a martial art, and as a sport. After all, that is what it is. Krav Maga is probably the single greatest military-specific martial art/self-defense system/street fighting style. Krav Maga is great for street and military fighting, with multiple attackers, and with weapons and things that could be used as weapons. After all, that is what it is. Using only Krav Maga, could you win a fight against someone using only BJJ in a ring with rules. I don't think so. Using only BJJ, could you win a street fight against someone using only Krav Maga or against multiple attackers, who don't fight with rules, and do fight with knives and various other things around that could be used as weapons? I don't think so. Therefore, the question of "Which is better in a fight, BJJ or Krav Maga?" It is an ignorant question. It is like asking "Which is better in a race, a race car or a racing boat?" Depends on the race, environment, opponent(s), tools, rules, etc. BJJ and Krav Maga are each awesome for what each of them are. In my humble opinion, a well-rounded fighter would be great at Krav Maga, BJJ, and Muay Tai.
That balled headed guy is a great martial artist but I don't believe this stuff works. You can't risk it fighting people with guns. They blow your head off.
the thing is, a punch will actually land faster than a bullet. This is because it takes time for the guy with the gun to notice and react to the movement. So, these techniques actually work.
Bank robber comes in and say roy is 1 yard from the robber. He'll lock his arm arm and flip you to the ground. Just don't do it when finger is on the trigger
Great. But the video editing made this really hard to watch without wanting to squint my eyes or look away. The video editor was trying way too hard here. Good moves on the mat though

This man should get hired to do fight choreography for movies and video games. This is super cool!

Rob Gould Jr Best comment I read in a long time.
Man, thanks for sharing! Always nice to read something real and based on experience! Cheers.
Lots of judo throws. An underrated self defense. I know this was demonstration but he still has solid techniques.
I thought the same thing
Well he's quick those guns were automatics grab the slide gun can't shoot.
The thing, is that in israel there are many terror attacks where the terrorists are not coming to rob, they are there to kill you. You have no chance if youdo nothing
Run! That is a tactical way of not fighting and Krav Maga didn't teach you this I did.

It's called an exhibition.
As a lowly level 2 in my past, I can attest that there is a counter for every attack that uses your opponents weakness in your favor.
The only “timing” was walking into his path ;)
No shit it’s a demonstration
It’s better than nothing
I agree. Better to know it than not know it@@ralphpagan3371

What I see him do so incredibly is derived from many systems and I think that is where the Bruce Lee reference comes into play. Bruce Lee was famous for introducing the concept of not limiting your fighting techniques to one style but do what works best for you instead.
I just wanna give props to that green belt that was his partner!
Vlad Khomutov I agree
yeah these are all show moves. i work with a guy that teaches krav maga. it's really to the point when you are in the situation. short and effective techniques that will either take the attacker by surprise or leave them crying on the floor holding his balls. i was also taught by another other krav maga guy training. in my last job. he taught how regular people in the classroom setting could take the right steps into taking down a possible shooter. the scenario involved many different ways of doing this.
This is flashy krav maga, its more demo not dor a street fight, but some of the move i did try and worked but most of it its just flashy KM.
For demo only, real krav maga in a fight is short and REALLY painful. None of it would be allowed in UFC or other professional fight settings.
You are a great warrior ! God bless you men , and bless Israel forces ! Greetings from Costa Rica !! 💪💪
There is no doubt that some of these techniques are highly impractical and he is indeed doing all of this on non-resisting opponents. On the other hand, he is clearly highly skilled and would not be someone to mess with.

Dalton Mckellips You think because mma fighters don't train in a certain martial art it doesn't work in a real fight? Lol really?
For all of you on here saying that this would never work, that it is all planned out, it does work. Every time you go to train, every hour you put in, goes forward to actual skills. It might be planned out at the demo, that's why it's called a demo, but all of those skills go forward to times that you will need them. If you practice enough, there's nothing you can't do.

Brilliant!!! Can somebody promt the name of music theme?
Which discipline is the belt of? I did not know belts and gi were used in Krav Maga, not to mention high kicks.
ratonL Krav Maga has adapted the judo grading system with three categories: Practitioner, Graduate, Expert.

Not trolling but why does he have a traditional gi and a Black Belt with Japanese symbols for an Israeli fighting style?
He's combining traditional Japanese Jujitsu with Krav Maga to create what he calls Israeli Jujitsu.
The first Krav Maga instructor studied wrestling, boxing, gymnastics and they added more and more as they found effective techniques to end a fight and get out of the situation.
@kommisar re-read what I said mate, I didn't state a single thing about movies or war or any of that. All I said was this guy combined two arts and labelled it under a variation of one.

This guy is an animal, n is crazy fast n hits hard. I enjoyed his demonstration..Thank u my friends!!
Seems to have a lot of common traits with classic Japanese jujutsu!
This is how krav maga has developed. They took some tricks from other martial arts and found out new ones to form the most efficient scenario for real life situations.
I just realized the reason they invented slow-motion....I've seen lightning bolts move more slowly than Roy.
Well, this "crav maga" thing is not very handy now when it's most needed, is it?
Probably because it doesn't work when they are wearing diapers....I heard diapers emit a frequency that interferes with martial arts lol
Now that was pretty good Dave, great video.
Always re-stomp the groin. Double tap those twig and berries.
Then slice the Femoral Artery sitting right next to those DELICATE eggs 😂
That was EPIC!! 😱🔥🔥🔥 Just subscribed and reacted ;) Greetings from Australia 🇦🇺
He must fight Steven Seagal, only then will my life be complete.
And so will Seagal's
That would be a fight of two guys falling down without ever touching each other
@@goncalobaia1574
Because Steven is going to die of a heart attack from too much movement
Steven's plate is full right now
What kind of amateur holds a gun right next to someone's face?
almost every robber since they are most of the time nervous
Usually for intimidation
A noob lol but the commenters above me are correct I've actually had a few people hold guns to my face I laugh at them and tell them if they're gonna shoot me then shoot me if not put the toy away if someone does pull the trigger oh well to late to cry about it
@Joltawan Barodscheff Australia is a shithole?
Can somebody please confirm whether in MMA, when being taken down, elbow strike on the person performing the take down is allowed. The back of the neck is very exposed (and vulnerable), in my humble opinion.
The best martial art is the one that wins the fight (or get ones out of a sticky situation - yes, including R'un)!
You can't hit in the back of the neck/head but you can hit on side of the face with elbows or anything you want
Great Video, great Fighter. Thanks for uploading.
I’ve seen a lot of these types of demonstration videos of different fighting techniques, but this is the first one where I was extremely impressed even though it wasn’t live sparring. This guy is lighting fast and very lethal. I think he would destroy those guys doing Systema.
ua-cam.com/video/urTzrunrO_A/v-deo.html
Not only tremendous skill, kudos to nthe media production team that put that together...excellent job, all of the way around...
I'm sure he's very skilled but these guys don't fight back...
+Jake Baine So what you are saying is you have not done a martial arts grading in your life. Most of this is demonstrating that he knows particular techniques. Krav Maga students also train full contact sparring. They just did not show any of it in this video.
Roy is one of the most dangerous men in martial arts, don't be fooled.
I've seen fast talented boxers train on heavy bags like this guy until they get in the ring.
In krav maga there is no ring
yeah you right but not always bro
They use this shit ont the Military Israeli spécial forces ... Probably most efficient than anything in the ring ...
Lol you know the "ring" for Krav Maga is the streets and combat zones right?
@@PudubatPudubat What do you think about Systema Special Russian Forces?
Wow. He is very good, especially knowing that it's a demonstration and he has to control his movies and doesn't want to hurt anybody. In real-life situation, he would seriously hurt the attacker pretty bad.
It's called kill them.
Not Krav Maga !! Brazilian jui-jutsu, aikido, Kyokushinkai, boxe and Krav Maga mix martial art !!! Title that's wrong
Rodin Krav Maga consists of all these techniques
Like everything ELSE "Israeli" - stolen from better humans.
Dude, Krav Maga(Contact Combat) consists of all these martial arts-
Aikido
Japanese Jujitsu
Jeet Kune Do
Karate
Judo
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
Muay Thai
Kali
Boxing
American wrestling
Firearm disarms
Knife combat
All combined in one.
In my humble opinion, a well-rounded fighter would be great at Krav Maga, BJJ, and Muay Tai.
learn both?
Actually, Krav maga against BJJ would win, even in the Ring. They can work around the rule.
Wow. Krav Maga seems very useful when your opponent doesn't strike back and attack you one by one. As a choreography, it is nice and beautiful
The Bruce Lee of Krav Maga 🤣🤣🤣 shhhh
Roy's a phenomenal Krav Maga teacher
But using Bruce Lee's name this way is disrespectful both to Bruce and Roy
Roy would kill Bruce
zGunExpert exactly
@@Xoars My mom would kill Bruce and Roy ! Simultaniously ! Blind folded ! Hands tied to the back ! Barefooted !
@The Reaper lmfao. Bruce Lee wouldn't stand a chance. Bruce Lee wasn't shit.
How do you know some kind of endorsement from the Bruce Lee side of things hasn't taken place?!
That balled headed guy is a great martial artist but I don't believe this stuff works. You can't risk it fighting people with guns. They blow your head off.
I concure
the thing is, a punch will actually land faster than a bullet. This is because it takes time for the guy with the gun to notice and react to the movement. So, these techniques actually work.
Gagan Umesh the whole reason to use a gun is to be out of reach of physical contact...
terry bigMango when getting mugged a lot of the time they'll have the weapon close to you
Bank robber comes in and say roy is 1 yard from the robber. He'll lock his arm arm and flip you to the ground. Just don't do it when finger is on the trigger
Very very nice demontration,,,thank u for give me an idea to defend my self,,
1:45 restomp the groin.
Holy shit son. He just demolished someone who was standing still and not defending him self at all. Legend
I'm doing Krav Maga for 8 years..
I was very lucky to meet him n a seminar..
What you see in this video it's half story..😉
Thus video with the fast frame.
I think the same.....
So basically Full Intensity Aikido mixed with Whatever Goes
But Aikido sucks right? AKA Bullshido
Every time you judge an art as bullshit, you fail to abstract what is usefull of its very principles.
It's principles can be found anywhere else, Krav Maga is a joke!
Yeah yeah, i would like to see you saying that straigth to an israeli soldier. Keybord master.
Well considering most Israeli Soldiers are 5ft nothing and lucky to weigh 75-80kg's, why would I be concerned?
Like fighting style krav maga techniques
Great. But the video editing made this really hard to watch without wanting to squint my eyes or look away. The video editor was trying way too hard here. Good moves on the mat though
He had to squash more then hour into 4 minutes , he had no choice.
The best 👻💪 Algum BR aqui??? 😎✌🏼
He taught our class... No one wanted to do a demo w Roy... Soo fast..Moves are soo lrecise an lethal... Good luck...
3 times the same video and he hits the guys so hard he loses is helmet. Also in the 65 rounds of fighting, nobody aims for his head. He's the only one throwing kicks and fists at people's head. Everything for the show I guess...
Pmsl say that to his face you’d be shitting your teeth for a mouth
Oh yeah everyone can beat him in a fight then?
@@richardhumble3895 If somebody tries to impress people with something then they better deliver. This clown doesn't.
@@nnorway21 No but he probably can't beat a granny so stop trying to defend a fraud. Anybody can make a video saying that they can beat 1000 person at the same time but the video ends after 5...
@ So why tell us that he can do 65 rounds of fighting not training or sparring if everybody must do this for his 4th degree of whatever? He's not really special if everybody does this...
I love Krav maga
You have been deceived man
this martial art is awesome and amazing I am just ten and I practice this with my father
+Armani Persaud what so awesome with this
If you have to ask you don't understand
i most like jeet kune do
As a,karate black belt i can truly say this brother knows his stuff God bless keep up the good work.
These guys always kick a** when they know exactly how they're going to be attack
