I love your channel! I’m a guy planner, and so many people who make planner videos gear a lot of things for females, but your aesthetic and way of doing things has really helped me figure out a number of things out. Thanks for the videos!!!
Really enjoyed this. I plan using a blank A5 notebook, with a two page spread for each day. On the left side, I write appointments and tasks. On the right side, I write notes, lists, quotes, information I need (like a number to call, an address, or a website) and groceries to buy, or things to watch for. A recipe idea to try might also go here on the day when I have the time to play in the kitchen. This is working so well for me that I look at this notebook multiple times a day. I add things as they come to mind, and I have a "parking space" to capture ideas as they appear. My current notebook is lined, but I have also used graph or blank pages successfully. I date all the pages before I start using my notebook. Then I can note appointments or scheduled events and know that nothing will fall through the cracks. I note things I need to take to events or books to return. I use several pages at the beginning of a month or a quarter for an overview of the month or quarter.
I’m a list planner but I really need a schedule. I waste a lot of time watching tv and on social media when I could be cooking and cleaning. Great video
I plan each night before bed like you do! Don’t you find it relaxes your mind to know everything is in writing? First I look at my inbox and my monthly view and plan accordingly. I used to skip days because I would use weeklies. Once I moved to undated dailies, I haven’t missed a day. I often use each one for two days if not much is going on. I also peek several times a day at my planner, once in the morning to refresh my mind. Your organization and videos always motivate me to keep it up! Thank you, lovely Rana. 🧚🏼♂️💐👜
Great tips! When I first started planning I tried dailies but they didn't work for me as an empty nester until I printed plain grid sheets & periodically journaled on that day. I've noticed I seldom use those sheets for dailies even to journal unless we have a lot going on [like next weekend with son getting married & daughter & family flying in from CA - yay me].
Thank you for another great video Rana. I learned a lot from this video. I plan my week every Sunday and I check my planner throughout the day to refresh my mind and to update my planner. I’m a lister, so I love to check the things from my list that I already finished . I feel great every time I accomplished something from my list.If I missed some to dos , I transfer it to the next day.
Thanks for the ideas Rana. I plan in the morning, and always always always have my planner open where I can see it throughout the day. I don't normally use dailies but just once in a while I probably should. And I think time-blocking might be a good way of holding yourself accountable for where the day goes! Perhaps I should schedule a slot specifically for watching planning videos?!
Yes that's a great idea. It's funny how we're always saying we don't have time to do something but if we write down what we're doing during the day we'll see that we wasted a lot of time when we could've been doing something productive. Thanks for watching love 💕
Great video Rana. I’ve been planning every Sunday (99% of the time) for the past 4 years. Looking/using my planner daily is a habit I’m not so good at. I think planning the evening before would work for me whilst I’m sat watching TV and then I need to get into a habit of checking my planner in the morning and add any extra to do’s. I journal and have a coffee every morning so it would make sense to add it to that.
Great tips! I think I might try to plan in the evening. I’ve been waiting until the morning and it does not work for me. I just get up and go…totally about to switch that up🤗💕
Fabulous video, Rana!! I always plan the week on Sunday evenings and usually daily check in during morning and after dinner. I have learned so much from your videos, thank you for all your efforts! ❤️
Hi, I love your channel, I have the LV medium agenda in the graphite. I recently bought the lv 2022 refill, but I don’t like the narrow paper. I thought I heard you say that you use the A6 size paper in your medium lv agenda. If so who did your order from and do you also cut the pages so you can pull out the pages without opening the rings?
Hey love I use personal size paper in my lv mm agenda. Also I don't cut the paper because the pages are become difficult to turn when you do that or they end up getting ripped easily. Hope that helps and I'm glad you're enjoying my content🥰
Great tips Rana! off subject: what insert to you recommend for documenting personal health history? example vaccines, doc appt, prior surgeries/procedures, and medication mgmt. TIA :)
I use the health inserts from my collaboration with May Paper Co called the "Mama Bundle." I have a discount code in the description box should you choose to purchase🥰
