These earphones use a hybrid, non sealing, ear tip called "Stay Aware", which is why they don't have ear gels. This feature allows you to naturally hear your environment without removing the earphones while still listening to music. Mountain bikers, runners, etc., like this feature. The trade off is that the bass frequencies will be reduced because the earphone doesn't have a sealed pressure chamber in the ear canal like a sealed, isolating earphone would. To achieve more bass with the stay aware design would require a much larger driver which would make them too large to comfortably fit in most folks' ears.
You all prolly dont care at all but does someone know a trick to get back into an Instagram account?? I somehow lost the password. I appreciate any tricks you can give me!
FINALLY i saw this new Push and u need more information about it, and you have a perfect video. Now i pretty sure that i want this new earbuds. The problem is that Skullcandy don't send anything form my countrie
I think this review sets you apart from other reviews with the audio that callers will hear on the other end if you use these for taking calls. Great work!!!
UPDATE: Music or media has to be playing through the earbuds in order to change the EQ Modes. I was able to get the modes changed, the Movies mode is the best sounding!
Do the ear bands get bent out of shape easily? Say they fit my ear perfectly out of the box, would it be easy to accidentally bend them so they no longer fit my ears?
You’re reviews are really high quality for the size of your channel. Great testing on all of the products as well. Thanks to your Indy evo review I picked up a pair last week and I’m absolutely loving them, so thanks TM for the content 👍
I got them (for cheaper - Black Friday) to wear while running and working in the lab (walking around without any chords etc + we can't cover both ears for safety purposes). For these purposes and with the Back Friday price, they are a very good purchase.
@@karmyboi9609 I got this for ~ $40 with extra BestBuy discount. I like these for mono-stereo change actually. I don't have any experience with jbl though
Glad these earbuds had a reality check before buying them. They're now 40 bucks which is what these are really worth. These are about as expensive as the Sesh Evo, and have slightly better audio clarity. Bass is lacking, but I kinda like it better like that. So far, no problems with pairing, although for some reason two Push Ultra icons appear and only one of them actually work, buds themselves work fine. For 99$, not worth it. For 40$ however, these are really good for what they are.
@@SheikAshii Oh, I found them at my local ROSS store. I'm assuming you're trying to get them online right? Just to let you know though, I bought these on Black Friday so they did have a bit of a discount on them, and I actually ended up returning the things after a week later as the hard plastic they used for the buds made it very uncomfortable to wear longer than 20 to 30 min or so, any longer than that and it started to really hurt my ears. Other than that, the buds weren't that bad, but I wouldn't really recommend these at the price they're going for online, but that's just me, you do you.
The earbuds are so annoying I don’t know if I’m the only one but whenever the battery level is half away it would disconnected and when I reconnected it would disconnected again. Do I reset it?
solution for the switching of modes. It says to tap twice fast, then press a third and hold. to get this to work it's more like a triple tap with the last tap being held for 2 seconds. That's what i had to do. However, I also had trouble switching modes at first.
SOLVED! I'm not sure if this has been mentioned but i couldnt figure out how to change the EQ settings either. The EQ will only change by pressing the button twice with one long hold WHILE watching a movie, listening to music, or a podcast. It will not change unless one is physically playing 👍
The skullcandy push ultra are brilliant the sound quality is very good mine are crystal clear with plenty of bass 🔊 but to make the most of them I have found using the power amp Equaliser app doses wonders for these headphones wish skullcandy had developed an app like this 😊
Another awesome review! Will you be checking out the new Skullcandy Indy Evo or Fuel? I had the original Indy's but lost them and am looking to replace them, thanks!
I got theses for work cause I work with my hands and i got sick of headphone wires geting yanked on while working. I like them they definitely have what I'm looking for bass isn't quite there but that's ok. I work 10 hour shifts and I useally have just one bud in my ear and i normally will get a whole shift out of one bud just about. But it's all clear and it's kinda cancels out the other noises of tools that go on around me as well which is a plus to over I personally would give them a 7 out of 10.
Thank you for this awesome review, very detailed. Do they have LDAC support? Do you know any other similar fully wireless headsets that have LDAC support?
Yo, one quick question. Should I use this as my main pair of earbuds? It will be greatly appreciated if you have an answer for me ‘cause my current earbuds are getting older and worse than they sounded when I first got them. just note that I’ve had my others for 3 years now and I’m thinking about switching and I don’t know if I should get them as my main ones just so you know my budget is £130. Thanks in advance. Edit: if you gave it an overall rating out of 10 what would it be?
Man the EQ modes were GARBAGE so thankful I wasn’t the only one that’s tried everything to make this work. Forget it lol I’m reviewing these as well and was grateful to see I wasn’t being dumb.
I bought these before looking at reviews. I don’t know why. But I am really regretting buying these. The fit with the rubber covered plastic is already causing pain in my ear. The sound is just too washed out for me perfectly. I personally got higher quality from a pair of $30 headphones called the outlier one’s.
Ok when you go to the skullcandy app when u go to setting it shows you what EQ your buds are in if you double tap main button then hold for 2 seconds the voice then tells you what mode it has changed to so you have to change it on the buds NOT the app
Great review. Do you know how they sound compared to apple airpods? I want this more for the tile feature (for my daughter) but don’t want to sacrifice the sound quality.
Mine are stuck in solo mode. I’ve got sound coming out of only the left, or only the right, but never together. They won’t pair with each other. I’ve tried resetting them multiple times and they refuse to pair to each other. Any suggestion?
Am I able to pair both of theses together? Right now I'm only working one at a time and can't pair them to get her. I am finding a lot of facts true that you've noted in this video. I did recently purchase this model and currently using them as is.
I just received mine and when playing music double tap the main button then hold for 2 seconds then voice tells you what EQ mode your in so it does work
I bought some and.... problem... the right earbud does not charge after only few uses... I called them and I have to return the kit .... sucks....... I heard that it happenes quite often with one earbud that does not charge......
Hey all, any1 else just lose these ear buds syncing??? Few days ago they stopped working in stereo and can only use 1 bud, they both work & both pair to phone but will not play in both at same time now....any help would be appreciated
@techmoe, im looking for true wireless earbuds that will stay in and not fall out when running, jump roping, exercising, and boxing. I bought the jbl tune 120s but they kept falling out so I returned them. Then I got the skullcandy indy xt. But the sound wasn't there. My next option was the beats pro but I dont feel like paying 200$+. In your expert opinion Whats the best earbuds under $150, mainly for jump roping and boxing. Thank you
Did you review the Indy's? I literally bought them a week or 2 ago for 80. Turns out another upgraded version came out for the same price but will you review either?
I'm consider to buy them ,but my concern is that my ear is a bit small ,and another not sport earbuds fall out from my ears ,Not sure what to do as they are not cheap.

I bought the sesh evo first for under 40 $ they are nice for blocking out sound and sound good but they fall out of my ears while exorcising and as i said they are great at blocking sound but at work i like to hear whats going on around me so i got the Push Ultras for 79$ because i needed something that will stay in place while active and they definitely stay on my ears very well.
It's not necessary to turn them off before putting them in the case. I will give you some fair warning after a while of using them the magnets that are supposed to hold them and charge them in the case weaken significantly and I find im normally trying to keep the one side from connecting while at work. That's one problem I've found with them I am pretty sure there are more problems than that with these.
Hey when your using them do you ever hear any beeping.. just checking to see what it means as in during battery cuz I check the battery life it it’s around 82% and it keeps beeping and one time it died at 40% and I was Wtfack lol
A bit late, but when you take them out of the case you should see the lights flash blue and red on them. After that, only one bud should flash blue, and the other should not flash at all. That means they are paired to each other. You should probably unpair these from your phone first before you connect them again.
When I go to the gym with a lot of people walking around with their phones it messes with the connectivity of these earbuds. If I turn either one off they work ok at the gym but who wants that. Does anyone have a solution? I tried resetting them twice and that doesn't help. Again, they are fine when I'm by myself but not when there are a lot of other phones/bluetooth devices walking around me. I'm thinking of getting something different. I'd love some help if anyone knows how to correct this issue. Thanks. Great video.
Any longtime skullcandy people like me, skip theese ones. I have every color of the wired $20 headphones and I like them better. Theese are a little odd for the ear in my opinion, and the sound sucks, good battery life tho. i wish I could return theese for the skullcandy crushers, iv bought 3 pairs of them over the years. Best pair hands down for the bass/sound
I have these. Wish I had never bought them. They won't stay charged in the case because they have tons of trouble staying connected electrically and then they turn on and connect to my phone, draining their batteries. The rubber hooks don't apply enough pressure in any position with the case closed to keep them charging while being carried, which means they are almost always dead when I try to use them. Very poor design. I'm about ready to give up and simply throw them away. Very disappointed in Skull Candy.

Ok I have These and their cool but damn it I need the bass!!!!!
