What are your favorite Skullcandy earbuds?
Moe I love you man but I think Skullcandy are going to be done soon. They've had generations to improve when soundpeats and earfun are budget offerings that are fairly new that are already ahead of them. Just shows they don't gaf and aren't willing to listen to their consumers. I'll keep passing on any of their stuff. I've dealt with their terrible warranty and customer service too. ✌️
@@jcap8391 I appreciate you bro and SoundPeats and EarFun definitely provide a lot of bang for the buck. Can’t argue with that at all. As a Skullcandy fan, I think they have dropped the ball over the years not only with their earbuds but the headphones as well. Hopefully they turn that around with at least a couple substantial earbuds releases and a pair of Crushers this year.
Jib XT 2, might get the Dime 2
My new dime 2’s
@@TecHMoE what about soundcore?
Add text on your video to show which earbud is being discussed and timestamps and your channel is gonna blow UP! This is the best audio channel next to Flossy Carter.
I think you mean time stamps :)
Agreed 👍👍
I had the Push Active earbuds. They sound great and I like the way they hooked over my ears, but they aren't very durable. Even though I took care of them, I still had to send 2 pairs in to warranty claim in less than a year because one stopped charging and the other the sound cut out on one earbud. They seem like they aren't made to be used much. I used them almost every day at work about 7 hrs a day. My friend also had to send in a pair in about 4 months because an earbud started crackling. I have no idea how well she took care of them though.
Same for headphones they break fast aswell
Same! I have the Indy ANC for over a year and a half, and I'm having the same problem now, they're staring to "behave" even worse as time goes by.
I have the grind but thinking about changing to rail in hopes that the rail falls less because of the shape. I have to keep fixing the grinds over n over so they don't fall. Opinions??
So who is the winne r
Would be nice to know what year these were released. Good video
Is it easy and comfortable to wear Skullcandy dime while wearing a helmet (motorcycle)
which one should i go for, the sesh evo or dime 2?
Thaaannnk you!
These are an improvement over the 1st gen buds. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxK5mc3yw4xA7Mf2j6k6n1Uqv_KUgrKdeM Pros: The fit is fantastic. This is the biggest plus. They stay in my ears when running and become unnoticeable. They are tight but comfortable. The sound quality is about the same as the 1st gen buds. They pair more easily with my LG G8 ThinQ and immediately reconnect when removed from the case. The sound balance is excellent, good but not overpowering base and clean mid tones and highs.Cons: The noise cancellation is good but perhaps a little less effective than the Bose ANC on the 1st gen buds. Passthrough mode as not as good as the 1st gen buds making it a little more difficult to hear conversations when in passthrough.
I got a pair of Indy about 4-5 years ago and they are still going strong. The battery life on them has depleted quite a bit since I got them, but that's to be expected. So, I liked them so much that I got the Indy Evo. Ambient sound (stay aware mode) is really nice and helps me a lot since I have pretty bad hearing to begin with and the battery life so far is nice. I'm pretty sure I don't have the ANC version but even so, I love Skullcandy and their products. The one big upside that was a glaring issue with the previous Indy version I have, is they fixed the fact that I can take either the left or right ear bud out on their own and still use either one. Old version I had to have the right one out to use the left ear bud.
😮 nu
I am facing an issue with my Skullcandy sesh anc
One earbud stop working sound is not coming
I had the Sesh Evo buds but they crapped out pretty quick so Amazon sent me a new pair but like you were pointing out the battery life was not that good. At the same time I got them for $25.00 so no real complaints. Nice video Techmoe!
Mine crapped out too. SC did give me a credit so I upgraded to the grind fuel. Now a little over a year they came out with a update and sunrise it fd my earbuds up. They also won’t offer earbud tips so if I can’t find correct fits they won’t fit the case correctly. I’m honestly done with SC and looking for another brand.
I just tried the indy anc and i dont even know where to begin..... The sound Is not worth of the price, the ANC and ambient mode suck, pairing problems, and a annoying noise on the right earbud, and i just unbox them , i expected much More from skullcandy, totally flabergasted, the only positive thing about It Is the unboxing experience.
I pulled out a pair of wired skullcandy ear buds that i had for like 5 years and I was like dam, shit sounds better then my current wireless. Now I'm looking to see which ones to get cause there's so many wireless ones to choose from
My wired Skullcandy are great.
Man that exact thing is what lead me to this video. I have a few older pairs of wired skullcandy ear buds that sound amazing. I got some newer wireless earbuds from some unheard of brand as a gift and they sound like hot garbage. I was hoping Skullcandy still had the goods for a budget setup but it sounds like they might be slipping. The sesh evos are tempting at $25, but lots of people are having reliability issues with them :(
It also looks like they downgraded to 6mm drivers from the old wired 9+mm.
I work in a fish packing plant and put my expensive JBL earbuds through the wash with my work gear so I'm looking for a knockaround pair that I won't mourn quite as much when I inevitably destroy them again, this video really helps. Thanks
Bro I buying Skullcandy sure anc buds very very worst buds audio not impressed eirpain wast of money
I had JOB, but lost one... I have had them since 2021 and they were going strong but I could only connect to one at a time. Weird. I am here to find a new suggestion.
wait you could get the sesh evo for under $30? I got them for $89 (before i watched this video) at the source
Edit: watching this video made me realized being convinced by my friend fucked me over
I remember skullcandy 20 years ago i used to save money just to get me a pair at radioshack
My grinds seem to pause or stop when i leave my phone 10 feet away and sometimes when i leave 20 feet away, plus i lost my box with instructions so i also dont know how to turn off one of the earbuds to save its charge. Overall not bad for 40 bucks when i got it on sale
You are right! I owned a pair of grind fuel and they are very good plus they have wireless charging
What is wireless charging/???
Grind Fuel is my favorite pair, by far :D
such an in-depth review thank you
I’m more of a bass person when it comes to earbuds , I wasn’t pretty sure which one would be a better fit for me. Any help?
I have Sesh ANC the right earbud no sound any suggestions? i love your channel
I had the Sesh Evo but got tired of the push buttons. Not sure why Skullcandy stays behind the curve, but I'm curious to find out of 2023 will be the turn up for them. Thx for sharing all of them to make comparisons easier.
Am looking to buy this one, u don't recommend it ??
@Black Beard Too many better options out there now, even the Soundpeats Mini or QCY T17s are a better bang for buck. If I had to recommend an all-around set to use, probably the Soundcore Space A40.I use these heavily at night bc I can sleep on them without any ear fatigue.
Bro @TecHMoE please reply! Is that worth to buy Skullcandy jib true-2 for 2500 rupees?
Now that's a quality review right there. Thank you.
Good video! Solid info thank you!!! Been shopping for a set and this helped a lot!
I love Skullcandy but it seems like all their latest earbuds have issues. My Indy anc and push active both right ear bud just stopped working on me. Contacted Skullcandy and they told me they can’t replace them and I’ll have to buy new ones. My push active I got for Xmas in 2022 and they stopped working oct 2023
I like how they look that’s why I got em lol
Great review and recommendation. Costco has the ANC for 70 bucks.
I love SkullCandy bc of the bass. I had gotten Cowin’s for Christmas last year and was annoyed on how dull the bass was, finally threw them away yesterday and planning to get another pair of SkullCandy’s for my birthday.
Thanks for all that information. 🖖Great video!
you can’t deny, it is a cool logo
add timestamps please 🙏🏻
I'm trying to decide between the sesh anc's and the rail anc's. Any thoughts?
What is the difference between grind and grind fuel?
1,000th like ayooo, usually i wouldn't say anything but this vid was exactly what I was looking for thank you so much fr
Sesh ANC for the win!
Im expecting a pair of Indy ANC in the morning. I will eventually I'm gonna buy everything they make..
I have 3
Skullcandy Dime XT 2
Samsung live buds 2
Tozo T-10
The fitness earbuds with the neck thing those are my favorite
My local pawn shop just gave me a free pair of these for my Brithday they are the 3rd one's in this vedio close to the end were he say's there around 80$ honestly I like them my frist pair of wireless headphones ever I can connect them to my phone and they sound good to me I don't know what else to ask for and as for battery life I don't need 24 hour of listening so I am ok with 3 to 9 hour's or whatever I can get out if them Especially if I put the case in my pocket you can change em I just keep them changed every night so I fond that a good thing to do 😂🤷♂️😎
😆 I got mine in ross $29.99
And saw 2 different pairs at another Ross for $13.99
on my 7th pair of sesh evos only because the charging case keeps going before the actual headphones do they need 2 fix this stat
@techmoe What would you recommend skullcandy sesh evo or skullcandy mod true wireless earbuds? Im stuck between the two i use them on my motorcycle so id need to listen to them pretty loud. Thanks in advance!
Wonder where the Mod falls in. Maybe same as the Grind?

My Jib True 2 earbuds keep randomly falling out of my ears. I've been told that they will eventually conform to my ears and stop falling out. Is this true? Anybody else having this issue?
How much money did u spend on it? Pls let me know! Is that worth buying for 2500 rupees?
Skullcandy Indy ANC or Skullcandy Mod Wireless?
I got the skullcandy dime xt 2 are they good
Thank you for this video brother. 😅legit a lifesaver
Their handsfree function super sucks
Jibs are really good for manual labor if you beat the crap out of your buds and don’t want to trash expensive ones they work decent as just regular earplugs too and cut out a lot of the loud noises
I have owned some wired ink2, smokingbuds (both still kicking) and wireless hesh 2 (still kicking) and some ink2 wireless that just recently give up. Looking at you video I have decided for the sesh anc, let see how it goes... Models and tech has changed so much since last time I was out for a pair of headphones
I can't get mine to charge at all brand new
Hi I'm currently looking for a new pair of earbuds but there are so many I wouldn't know where to start. What would you recommend as the best earned currently available for sound quality?
Which of these have the best bass sound bro? Nice vid.
They have top tier sound quality but the battery life sucks
Could you water test them?
So no Rail ANC?
Appreciate the help man.
should i get a skullcandy or any other brands under 50 usd
Do you like indy evo or push active for the gym use?
Great video ! Very informative and to the point !
Which ones have the feature to pause music when you take one earbud off?
What about the mod xt?
I like the early skullcandy
This is such a great video
appreciated sir, love your share!
I live in mexico
Skullcandy Mod should've made this list.
I agree but I just sent mine back because they were defective. Skullcandy is hit or miss but they do have a good warranty.
Which one is the best for bass? Im a bass head
Did u find out?
I have the Indy Evo
you need to include the mod true model
OK, I have a question as someone who has only owned 1 Skullcandy product, that being the “Smokin Buds 2” which I still have as a backup. Which Skullcandy earbuds would you say is closest to the AirPod Pro 2’s in terms of overall (sound, ANC, battery life) performance/quality? I currently have a pair of AirPod Pro 2’s and was considering getting a pair of skullcandy’s as my backups to wear while my AirPods are charging. I’m a fully disabled combat veteran who suffers from Tinnitus really bad, so when I am awake I ALWAYS have headphones in with either regular volume or light background noise. It seems weird I know but I find it helps TREMENDOUSLY with my tinnitus. Anyways any info is greatly appreciated. Very good, high quality content here as well!! Earned a sub from me that’s for sure.
SkullCandy is a good brand. I loose them before they ware out. I had a pair of airpods, but Skull-candy fits so comfortable. The more you want to spend, the better they’ll get. The active plus is really comfortable with excellent sound. I just got the fuels for the first time today.
Appreciate Your Service! 🫡
Hey bro there are some excersize you can do to releave you from the tinnitus . There is this dr Eric on youtube explainingthe ercersizes and the whole comment section is praising him how good it worked out for them . Let me find a lind for you
Dr eric berg tinnitus finds you the videos brother . Please keep me updated . Peace
jib 2 are the best
What is the AMC feature ?
Im guessing you mean ANC, ANC is Active Noise Control, basically Noise cancellation. It will remove some of the background noise coming from the area you are in.
DO NOT buy the push active earbuds!!! They are a ripoff! I've owned 2 pairs and both of them stopped working within 2 weeks of owning them
Why do the older ones use C type charger and the newer ones use regular USB micro
Really? That seems backwards. Good question. Which are micro-usb if you dont mind saying? I dont want anything micro-usb....

@Wendy Marking yeah I got a pair of the jib 2. From Amazon not quite 30 dollars. Really happy with the sound. They're really good. I just thought it was odd that it was the micro instead of type C.
I have da Indy evos anc and jib true 2,I enjoy both but some reason I like jib trues more atm
