I shot the Lift 33 4 different times over a few weeks. I really tried to like it, but only could tolerate it at 60 pounds. In the end I bought a Darton Consequence and Sequel 33. For me this was the better choice. The Lift is a nice bow, just not for me.
I still think the Matthews creed totally lost camo edition is the best looking hunting bow ever made just disappointing that they didn’t do anything special for their 30th year anniversary even a totally lost or all camo bow option for new bow would be sick cams Limb pockets bolts, etc. All camo
Shot it SxS against the Core SS, RVX 4/Revex, & Ethos. I liked the Prime better. Felt the draw, hold, and post shot were MUCH better. I guess I dont see the Mathews hype.
Bought a Lift 29.5. Arrived, fully paid for and I love it, but…… only issue is getting the correct mods. My bow came in with 70# mods and I need the 60#. Being patient because I still have my Phase 4 29.
90% of guys that own compound bows cant even change their own strings. They have to take it to a shop for everything. Plus if shtf ever happens, compounds have too many parts that will break. Yeah they are faster than traditional bows, but traditional bows will still drop deer, elk, moose, bears and anything else you can take with a bow. You just have to be a better hunter and get a little closer.
My local shop had a few....they have one less after this Monday though 😉...and I have a bigger hole in my bank account. I chose the 33 as I plan to do some 3D and maybe target shooting too. I think they only had 33s in stock so there's probably more demand for the 29.5 here in the southeast. Solid colors only too.
Dealer I went through ordered 62 of then when I was there the lady from Mathews word for word ' You will get your bows around the end of Feb. Early March ' I ended up walking out with a phase 4 33 just cause I didny want to wait with target season around the corner smfh
I ordered mine the day of the drop and I still don't have mine. It's a matter of the paint scheme you choose. If you don't want anything custom you can get your hands on one today.
@@Sneakyjoe69 yeah, the draw on the alpha x was undesirable to say the least. It felt way harder at the start than it should have. The lift 33 was a nice and easy pull from start to finish.
@matthewkyle6939 Well this is my first flagship bow and everyone has different preferences and to each there own I preferred the hoyt over the Matthew's and other bows you might feel the Matthew's is smoother but it wasn't to me its all preference. Someone might think one bow is smoother then the other but another person might think different its all about what you like. I liked the hoyt and was my first flagship bow. You like the Matthew's good for you we both got great bows we like awesome enjoy it!
I would be a upset if I was a dealer and I couldn’t get any but the super dealers have 200. As a Mathews guy I have trouble upgrading from my V3X 33 when it’s pushing the same speed, and might have a better draw cycle. To upgrade the bow and all of the accessories… and being I have to wait months since I’m lefty anyway, this is a pass year for me. Hopefully next year they make another bigger ATA.

It’s definitely light, but I wouldn’t say much more about it. If you’re a die hard Mathews guy, that’s cool, but this bow was a step backwards from the phase4 in all categories except weight
@@marcusmize9636 I am not brand loyal at all lol. In the last 5 years I have owned Hoyt, Mathew’s and bowtechs. I had the Hoyt axious, Bowtech sr350 and revolt x, Mathew’s v3 31, and now the lift 33. Not in that order. If I would have bought a bow last year it would have been the Hoyt over the Mathew’s phase 4. Just because I hated this years Hoyt doesn’t mean I am a Mathew’s fan boy. They just killed it this year.
@@marcusmize9636 and there is absolutely zero hand shock after the shot, and I dont feel any harshness at any point in the draw cycle. The price is more than fair compared to market value. The alpha x had considerable hand shock, the RX8 ultra felt somewhat better after the shot but still had a stiff and more harsh draw. Over all. Value to quality, Mathew’s wins, unless you’re a Hoyt fan boy. Plus if you own a Hoyt you have to stick your nose up in the air and grow a superiority complex. Buy a lifted diesel and never take it off pavement lol.
Yeah if you pay $1,500 for a bow... You're either filthy rich or insane. It shoots arrows... Thats its only purpose. They are really making money hand over fist on yall.
Top 100 dealers have plenty of them. They’ve had plenty since mid November. Most dealers have them at this point

Hope they don't rush the builds because they'll have problems. Need to focus on quality not quantity so consumers will be glad.

Hoyt alpha x is smooth draw sounds like a freight train feels like a bucket of bolts as well tho . It’s does look good tho
