Marissa is crowd surfing while screaming bloody murder, then playing the pedals with her hands and rolling on the floor like a man possessed, then just hands her guitar to the crowd. While Mike plays with a drumstick and then lets the audience play for him. While Jarrett somehow holds it all together, possibly with black magic. This set is exceptional, but the crazy thing is I've seen them live like five times and they're actually almost this good every goddamn time. Absolute monsters, the three of them. And the nicest people I've ever had the pleasure of speaking to.
There is something about the uniqueness of her voice that I'm addicted to... and just look at all of the emotion they put into their performance... found this band yesterday (about 10 years late lmao) and I think I'm in love.
Amanderp Dig her voice as well, she sounds exactly like the lunachicks, one of the best all girl bands ever. But vocals aside the woman rips at guitar -- power chords everywhere, all over that neck!!!
i saw them like 10 years ago open for a band in philly. only really got heavy into them about a year or 2 ago...the thing is, i cant remember who they opened for but they were locked in my memory ever since...absolutely love their sound !
same here. I love working out to this song 😆😆 I’m in love with her voice and guitar shredding. reminds me of a female Kurt Cobain the screaming, feedback, theatrics, but difference is she’s WAY better guitarist. could listen to her rip on guitar all day .
One of the BEST live performances of all time!! Love them or not, you can not deny the explosive raw emotion, energy and pure passion that these amazing artists have. Truly a rare treasure in this made for iTunes mass media bullshit that is constantly being shoved down our throats. Long live DIY! Long live Screaming Females!!!
A younger self would be confused at all the anger, but as I become older It makes perfect sense and sometimes find myself doing the same. This is what I call a fantastic performance.
Best encore song to play, when they played this the crowd was still as energetic from the first song they opened with, which was ripe. It was my second time seeing them play holy fuck I'm so in love
With a name like Screaming Females you can't have a singer that doesn't scream well. They don't have to do it on every song, and they don't, but it has to be in your arsenal.
The Screaming Females are my favorite live band now & maybe from hear on out. Bob Segal, the Ramone’s, Tesla, King’s X, Bruce & now SF, in that order & I apologize to anyone I forgot
Unlike many of my generation I rarely "despair of the younger generation", but when I see that this stunning band is not world famous....I guess just too good for the bland music world in which we have been drowned. Rock may be for the minority but it LIVES.
Ween has got a similar song, albeit slower paced, but equal in the psychosis revisited, mourning glory; that's how I feel after hearing this-good like Bilbo Baggins consuming and smoking his eighth meal of the day-satisfied!
This moment, say compared to the Bad Brains doing up "Banned" in 82 at CBGB's complete with the stage moshers;I wouldn't be surprised if the two are closely related in the most important moments in Punk Rock History. We won't die. We'll outlive the cockroaches!
To her I say an old adage from my people: "No one has a watermelon alone" which means that the hotter someone is the more likely you are to be sharing the person with a whole slew of people.

I'm late as hell too, a fan is still a fan

This band makes me want to start a revolution.
I love how this is called the "official music video" when it really is the 5:47 music equivalent of a tornado blowing through your town
My face has been melted expertly.
Doom84 Nice profile pic! love soko

Just a really unstoppable, earnest and hard working band.
A younger self would be confused at all the anger, but as I become older It makes perfect sense and sometimes find myself doing the same. This is what I call a fantastic performance.
i play guitar myself sort of decent and im still sitting here like "holy shit what the actual fuck is she doing" in pure awe at 1:10

Still to this day the most rock and roll thing I've ever seen.

I love marissas voice so much 😍😍😍
One of the greatest performances I've ever seen.
holy crap
The chick from the Breakfast Club really found her confidence. What a fucking boss.
king mike can play better with a drumstick than i can with fingers or a pick lmao
Unbelievable. And I just found out about this band one week ago. ❤️
Best encore song to play, when they played this the crowd was still as energetic from the first song they opened with, which was ripe. It was my second time seeing them play holy fuck I'm so in love
She's kind of like if Corin Tucker and Carrie Brownstein from Sleater-Kinney were merged into one person.
Amazing performance, just pure energy. woooo hooo
Much respect, that was a great set.
This song reminds me of the band l7 and I love it
One of rock n roll's great screamers
With a name like Screaming Females you can't have a singer that doesn't scream well. They don't have to do it on every song, and they don't, but it has to be in your arsenal.
like a fuckin banshee
Holy shit she's a great guitarist
I hope the building was immediately torn down after this, and the earth salted.
Rock ain't dead. It's REBORN!!!!! 👩🎤🎸🤘♥️
this is like the coolest thing ive ever fucking seen

Is really Mike playing bass with the drumstick? OMG.
Marisa plays really fast, but totally clean amazing power and voice.
Absolutely perfect
Got a little bit "Endless, Nameless," at the end there.
Devyn Kennedy :'(
For sure
The Punk is not DEAD!
Bass guitar played with drumstick .... epic.
TREMENDO!
I’m so in love with Marissa to the point it’s so ridiculous.
I love how she plays every solomout of key, and just doesn't care
true punk spirit
Hey boss
@@MercurialSilence Gibe de pusi boss
Love the guitar!!
This is their best official video that I have seen so far. I would show this to someone to convince them to go to one of their shows.
The Screaming Females are my favorite live band now & maybe from hear on out. Bob Segal, the Ramone’s, Tesla, King’s X, Bruce & now SF, in that order & I apologize to anyone I forgot
An impressive performance!
Was at that show! fucking amazing
that was insane
That. Was. AWESOME!
That was lovely!
The band and the audience are crazy! I love it because i'm crazy too :D
Unreal. I'm gonna need to get this album soon.
PREVENT. CONFUSION.
Lindo
Amazing gt solo!
you guys remind me of GO!GO!7188 Japanese rock bank!! love love love
Oh yes
A person so tormented in love and obsessed with another person that they go insane should be the name of the song.
Exhilarating and frightening all at once.
oooh Im gonna check bit more of this out :)
good gawd I love it
very. stoked.
Unlike many of my generation I rarely "despair of the younger generation", but when I see that this stunning band is not world famous....I guess just too good for the bland music world in which we have been drowned. Rock may be for the minority but it LIVES.
She kills that guitar
best band ever
Ween has got a similar song, albeit slower paced, but equal in the psychosis revisited, mourning glory; that's how I feel after hearing this-good like Bilbo Baggins consuming and smoking his eighth meal of the day-satisfied!
YUP!
were they gonna do raining blood at the end?
Ugggh, mind blowing as usual.
Got danged spectacular.
I lost my shit when they started letting the crowd play the drums on the guitar
I hardly believed what i just saw. Insane. In a good way of course!
ITS LIKE ANOTHER MILLENNIAL WRECKING A MUSTANG YOU CANT LOOK AWAY!
Marissa is Punk AF.
One of the best bands ever, people are so stupid.
OMG I think I just got impregnated.
This moment, say compared to the Bad Brains doing up "Banned" in 82 at CBGB's complete with the stage moshers;I wouldn't be surprised if the two are closely related in the most important moments in Punk Rock History. We won't die. We'll outlive the cockroaches!
same
I wish i could afford to see them live @_@
Their shows are usually like 10 dollars a ticket
You could always beg for money, thats free and you'll get ten dollars in no time
Wow
Holy fuck
And then the family of that poor bass guitar press charges again King Mike for Bass guitar abuse via a drum stick
Awesome show!!!!!!!!
shit!!! this is so fucking cool
Strong Kristen Hersh influence there.
How to make sonic chaos without destroying your instruments.
she shreds lol
Une femme qui en a moi je dis..!
is that dude hitting his guitar with a drum stick lmao!
It's a bass, not a guitar.
Sonic Youth style
I am totally in love with Marissa. If ever my band plays a show near or for them, I will most definitely up my stalker game.
You can always trust Chicago for working out experimental fervor!!
Qué capea
To her I say an old adage from my people:
"No one has a watermelon alone" which means that the hotter someone is the more likely you are to be sharing the person with a whole slew of people.
The girl can play guitar!
What is going on !??
Oops, Bob Seger
Yea... wtf in the fullest
The singer reminds me of the singer from the Wytches. Except female.
Marc Crowell their screams are similar
Dude
