Really nice video and well narrated. Safe travels.
Thank you! I really appreciate your kind comment.
Wow! Looks like you found a crazy beautiful time to go! It still looks like summer! I still need to visit the south of France, and this looks like a perfect itinerary.
I feel like it was warmer in October than when we went in May! It was a super nice time to go. Although we missed the lavender up in Provence. I do want to go back for that! It’s a nice mix of different activities which I always like so the towns don’t blend together.
This seems to be a very charming place, I hope I can visit sometime in the future. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much! And please keep up the great job! Subscribed!!
Thank you! It is a very beautiful place. Definitely worth a visit if you can 😊
Beautiful and great edit! what camera have you been using? Thanks!
Thank you! We use a Sony A6600 mostly and a GoPro Hero 9 for when we want some thing smaller and waterproof.
This video is so helpful! Makes me feel better about traveling in October- did you have any rain?
I’m so glad. October was an amazing time to visit. We were there the 2nd week of October and didn’t have any rain. We also have longer Vlog style videos for each location in this video and a video outlining how much our trip cost, so check those out if you’re looking for more info 😊 have so much fun on your trip!
Excellent information, with great views. I went in 2005 but of course I want to go back especially to Eze. Do you have any information about going to Avignon from Nice? 🐾🐾
Thank you! It definitely sounds like it’s time for a trip back. Avignon was on our list to visit but we sadly didn’t make it out there this time. There are direct trains to Avignon from Nice but they do take around 4 hours so it might be a bit far for a day trip. Booking in advance will help you get the best price 😊
Hi how are you 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Great! Thanks for watching. Hope you enjoyed the video 😊
ill be in Nice 9/11 - 9/14 . then my stay 9/14-9/15 will be next to the airport ... so like , should i spend a day at eze , monaco , menton or just stay in nice and visit these places ... what can I do for a 27 year old you know? By the way... I give props when professional videos are done. so I am subscribed.
Hi! I would recommend staying in Nice so you don’t have to lug you luggage from place to place and waste time switching hotels/airbnbs. Nice has more options for food and accommodations making it a good home base. Plus Nice is definitely worth visiting too! My favorite in Nice is the daily market (one day a week it’s an antique market the rest it’s more food and flower based). Parc Phoenix in Nice is next to the airport as well so if you have time before your flight you should check it out. We haven’t been yet but it’s on my list for next time.
Thank you for subscribing and your kind words! We’re actually headed back to Nice in a few weeks so we’ll have more videos on Nice and Southern France soon! 😊
How is the weather in mid April? Is it warm already? Can we swim at the beach?
The average temperature is usually 55 to 60 and the water is probably pretty cold. April can also be pretty rainy. We visited early May once and did swim a bit, but I wouldn’t plan entire days around the beach. Plan on visiting different villages and if you’re warm enough after exploring the village hop in the water to cool off after walking 😊
Was the water in calanques warm for swimming? October seems beautiful weather.
The water is cold but after the long hike it feels great!
If I want to hike Calanques National Park, what would you recommend to bring with me? is the hike long? How complicated is it to go down the mountain?
It depends on which hike you want to do, but if you want to go all the way to Calanque d’en-vau definitely bring some good hiking shoes, lots of water, and snacks. It’s very steep and rocky to climb down the mountain but we saw people of all ages (young and old) that were able to climb down.
Is it nice weather in mid March?
Nice has mild winters but it will still be colder. The high in March is 60F which can be chilly depending on what you’re used to and that’s the high so it will be cooler too. There’s still some rain as well. You’ll be able to enjoy a lot of the cities without a ton of tourists but I wouldn’t expect to swim and lounge on the beach.
@@AnyoneCanTravel Thanks. Warmer than in Canada at that time of year!
For sure! For winter I’d say it’s very nice. Probably similar to California.
Hi I'm planning to go to Nice for 3 days this July, will it be enough to cover at least a few of these places by myself? I was thinking of getting guided tours since I'm going solo but now I feel like I'll miss out on places after watching this video! 🥲
Menton, Eze, and Monaco would be very easy to visit by yourself on the train from Nice. Verdon Gorge and Moustiers you would need a tour or a car. For Cassis and the Calanques National Park I think you can get there on train but a car is easier. It would be very hard to do all 6 in 3 days plus you probably want to see Nice too! You could do Eze and Monaco or Menton on one day, and then one day in Nice and one day trip with a car or a tour.
@@AnyoneCanTravel thank you so much 😇
