@@rivierago it was amazing iv seen alot of expensive cars
@@imtheboss8414 Speaking of which, ever seen the Watchman River channel?
❤
Wow! Love this video! Coz we’re booked to go to Nice then Monaco.. just wondering if parking is easy there and is it expensive? We’re planning to go the jardin and the cave.. thanks!😊
Hi, thanks a lot! Yes, parking is kind of expensive - the first hour is usually free in Monaco’s parking garages, then it gets pretty expensive. But if you stay for 2 or 3 hours it’s not a fortune… Have fun!
@@rivierago thank u 🙏 greatly appreciate it😃
Hi! I'm planning to go to the Prince Palace of Monaco from Monte Carlo Casino. What bus do u suggest to take from the casino? Also which bus do I need to get to the top of the palace so I don't need to walk uphill? Or is walkable next month in july...will it be too hot to go from Monte Carlo casino to Prince's Palace? If I walk, I'll get to see the Port Hercule and the Grand Prix race track ( 2 landmarks that I would like to see as well). Thanks again for your insight!
Hi, thanks for your questions! There are buses (no.1 and 2 according to the app called MOOVIT - which we recommend highly to get around), but you could also walk - it’s about 30 minutes to walk. Depends on how you feel, we’re sweating all summer, whether we’re walking or not 🤪. Bring an umbrella and/or fan and take your time - then you should be fine…
Monaco is beautiful but very small area
Yes, it’s conveniently small - easy to discover in a day (well, the basics at least 😉)
Im in Monaco now and its such a beautiful place. I wonder if you know what the name of this perfume/aftershave everyone is wearing at the moment?
Truthfully: no idea 😳. Just ask someone who‘s wearing it!
@@rivierago thats on today’s agenda. Thank you :)
@@rivierago I found the perfume and its called: Baccarat Rouge 540
@@josephgill6964 👍 We’ll have a sniff for it next time in Monaco 😉
So French phone data plans do not reach into Monaco? Is there a separate network or did your friends service provider not have a tower nearby and they switched networks and got charged?
Hi, this is a tough question… We use our French mobiles and we don’t pay extra fees (just have a slow connection, presumably because we’re not with “Orange”). We’ve asked Monaco’s press department your question, but they didn’t know and told us to ask Monaco Telecom, and we haven’t gotten around to doing that yet… If you make sure to not switch to the Monegasque provider but stay with a French one when in MC, you’re probably better off (as a EU citizen, that is). Sorry for not being of more help here… 🙄
French phone plans work in Monaco (and so do any Europeans) and should be charged at the same rate as other European roaming. But that of course also depends on what tarif you are subscribed to. No French Network (if locked to it) will cover Monaco with the exception of the outskirts. The connections here by Monaco Telecom are principally bad, no matter who you are with. The problem are the hills. You simply can't get the same coverage by towers covering a slope than a flat area. The worst really is when I visit friends who live on the boarders to France. Network constantly ping pongs between Monaco and France. But there is public wifi in most places, not the same experience of course, but an alternative.
I been in Monaco 3 months ago
What did you think?
@@rivierago Monaco is so beautiful, its briliant place, what can be better, with love frome New Jersey, USA.
I have yet to go there
Im going to Monte Carlo in two weeks I have a question though … do you need to go through immigration when entering Monaco coming from nice, France ?
No, absolutely not (I mean, you should have your passport, but there‘s no systematic control when entering Monaco)
@@rivierago thanks for the fast reply I’m really excited to visit the rich and famous’s playground
@@boynxtdoor5886 let us know what you thought!
@@rivierago sure will
What hotels you recommend?
All of the big hotels in MC are really nice, you can’t go wrong. Affordable for “normal” people? Not so much. Depends on what you’re looking for and willing to spend…
Hi, my Art expo sale around famous places in Monte Carlo, artstyle luxe gltzy Xmas etc
Or Meeting 2 pm entry Office tourisme monte carlo monday- friday
You're so beautiful! ❤⚘❤
🫣😉
Honestly seems kind of boring.
Monaco is a small place, its particularity is the mix of highrises that sit nestled between mountains and sea, its wealth and a rich cultural and culinary offer. You’ve seen it all in a day, but this day is really worth it - we think 🤷♀️
it's boring if you don't have millions of cash. Monaco is all about high standard living , healthcare, security, getting acquainted with other rich people, exclusive parties, yachting, yacht parties , exotic cars, fashion and class. Regular poor people with no public relation skills or if big "Business Opportunities" is not their thing, they would not enjoy it here.
Honestly, you sound kind of boring 😂
How frequent are trains and buses between Nice and Monaco? Thanks!
Hi! Very frequent, trains between Nice and Monaco generally run every 30 min (but not very late at night), buses (Zou no 607 for example) every 20 minutes.
@@rivierago amazing! Thanks so much for the quick response! Really good to know. Visiting over the holidays so I’m looking forward to making this one of my day trips. Merry Christmas!
@@liketheroman 👍 you should! Merry Christmas to you, too - and have a wonderful trip! 😊
Ya I'd agree with fairly frequent - if there is no strike, no breakdown (especially in the summer) or if the tracks aren't otherwise occupied (which unfortunately also occasionally happens). I'd also avoid the rush hour in the eve (starts around 5pm) and last train is around 9.15pm. And, no Uber in Monaco, so then you'll have to take a cab back to Nice. Unless you want to travel in style and take the Heli back. I think the last take offs in the summer are around 8pm. And the ride is actually not crazy priced. Before covid, Heli rides for a single traveller where not more pricey than for a cab. Get yourself a return ticket in Nice, the ticket counter in Monaco is sometimes broken (and you might find lines in the summer). Most Restaurants here offer a lunch menu for up to EUR 25. That's the limit that employees can spend on their lunch cards (don't ask, a whole new topic) so if you ask at a place you like if they have a lunch menu, you will find decent food for affordable prices. But there are also places and supermarkets where you can just pickup a Sandwich. Just keep in mind that Restaurants here are open between 12ish - 2.30PM, and you won't get any food until dinner (unless as mentioned at a supermarket). And walk around a bit. This place is so much more than the Port, the Casino and Clubs.
@@Mazeboxx oh yes, you‘re right about the train strikes… they happen frequently indeed 🫣. And thanks for the other info you gave - very true and useful! 👌
