Still using my 2008 VW t-5 1.9 tdi SWB with only 112000 miles. Still drives really well. With no major problems as yet but could do with some new shocks all round. Going to change it this year for a newer van. But still undecided what to get.
Nothing to do with axle configuration on Mercedes numbers. a Vito 218 is upto 3 ton chassis 180 bhp. Sprinter 313 is upto 4 ton 130bhp. in Lorries 1824 for 18t 240bhp 2532 for 26t 320bhp but you can also get an 1843 artic and 2545 artic which if these artic units were to be converted into rigids, they be 18t 430bhp and 26t 450bhp. But for some reason, when the 1843 still as an artic unit only has a gross vehicle weight of 13 ton and gross train weight of 36 ton (I think) depending on the trailer it is pulling
2 electric buses in London exploded within a week of each other week before last. I have done another little airport job on Thursday. Pick up Taylors End, Stansted Airport RyanAir to take to RyanAir Hanger 10, Stanstead
Im glad the Renault masters got a mention because i believe they are a complete underdog. If you look closely at what the lads drive all over europe its largely those 3.5t renault masters with the small curtain sided bodies, i believe they are buying them for a reason other than price!
I used to drive a Toyota Hiace when I working for a corner shop driving to cash n carries to collect stock. It always stunk of curry and it was awfully slow
I used to drive a vauxhall corsa when I was working for local parcel delivery it always stunk of fried bacon and over dated sausages. It also has alcohol stain marks on the seats 🤮
@stevecampbell7589 yeah, I used have a Toyota ultra reliable. All I did was go to my local shop regularly get a good service, it was lovely. I saw many people at the shop aswell
Luton airport was caused by a diesel car Also the % of EV cars that catch fire is very very low compared to fuel Only about 1 vehicle fire in 8000 is a EV the others are petrol or diesel The problem with EV is if there is a fire it can take weeks to fully make it safe They are actually safer than a petrol or diesel in regards to catching fire It’s a myth that EVs catch fire more by anti EV people who have never been in one or done any actual research on them
@shidy121 no it ain't. Hiace is Toyota. The Toyota Proace shares the same body and chassis as the Vauxhall Vivavo, Peugeot Expert, Citroën Dispatch and Fiat Scudo of the same age. The Hiace was an outdated, slow and uncomfortable van that every corner shop had one
