Class 1 is easy to drive not as much swing as a 26T with rear steer or with the rear axle up. Used to drive bin lorries and you had to be so careful in the little housing estates
You did a Tea/Coffee Video - I remember if you don't! Yeah I'm with Dave, just get a coffee from a service station or café and then rate it alongside all others! Still no T-Shirt then? I fear it will have been returned by now 🤨
Had a couple of weird deliveries this week. First one was a destination at Ceva Logistics for 8am Monday morning. Turned up and found out I was delivering to the Houses of Parliment. I was held at Park Royal for over 3 hours and given a set route and was sealed into my cab while I make my way to Curtis Gate which is in New Scotland Yard. Dropped that off and was cleared by 3pm. But as I left the back gate onto Derby Gate outside the Red Lion on Whitehall. Another 7.5t Isuzu box pulled in to deliver to the pub and guided me out. I took off one of his DVS cameras on top of his box. Second job was to pick up in Southend a load of garage doors. About 20 of them. Delivery address was north field compound in Hanslope Park Milton Keynes area for 9.30am Tuesday. Arrived 9.20am thinking it be a straight forward job. Turned out to be HMGCC! Had to hand in all my phones and electronics and was there until 2pm and couldnt contact the office to let them know of the delay. How can someone like me be passed fit to go into places like that, especially Hanslope Park where they have the British inteligence service. Both those drops were worse than any prison jobs or JCB
accident insurance ....... The following may or not be bollox and a figment of my warped imagination 🙂 Car is a private policy ..... the truck is business ....... So when a forklift decided to stamp atoyot into the side of my sprinter and i put a claim in i kept my gob shut when i refreshed the car insurance . The reason being i once had a harley that went walk about one afternoon . Claimed on the insurance . When it came to taking out a new car policy i asked the broker if that would make a difference and they said its a differnt type of policy so no . So ive stuck with that . I see it as private and business policys are 2 very different things . Its entirely upto the individual though just in case it goes wrong .
