- First level to exceed four minutes, but this level is only long because of the damn balloons and it's not very hard. The bonus room with stars is somewhat annoying, though.

For those of you who couldn't realize how to use the balloons, here it is:
1) Step on it.
2) hold the DOWN key pressed.
3) While holding "down", move left or right.
4) Once you move out of the steam column, the balloon will also start to go down, eventually drowning you in lava. The only way to make your balloon go up again is by finding another steam geizer and position your balloon on it.
I was playing this for the first time and I was confused at that part. thanks for sharing :)
for you who clearly overdoes it and thinks he knows it all... you dont have to hold down...!
Just try to walk off the edge to move it...

You dont need to hold the down button down to doit. Just walk left or right and the balloon will move. I was scared because I thought I could fall when I walk left or right. I have trouble getting passed the bees part.
The first level that signaled DKC2 getting harder for me. World 2 was a massive leap in difficulty

I would agree. This level took a lot of trying to get right. Every level prior to this one was fairly easy and only took one or two attempts to get through. This one took a few tries.
Such ingenious level designs and mechanics, beautiful music … this game truly is always going to be one of my favourites!
The DKC Trilogy are my fav Super NES games of all time. I love Super Mario World, Super Metroid, Kirby Super Star, LoZ A Link To The Past, and SMW2 Yoshi's Island, but DKC Trilogy is always at the top for me.
Ah man. The more you play into this game, the more I'm reminded of just how epic win this game's soundtrack is. Awesome.

I hated this world. Music for the lava stages was awesome though.
В 1995 году мне было 5 лет..и DK была моей самой любимой игрой.Это было что-то невероятное в то время.
Сейчас 2024 и мой сын которому 4 года пробует играть а эту игру,но ему очень сложно и я с большим удовольствием вновь прохожу эту игру и даже сейчас считаю,что графика/музыка/физика этой игры опередило время и даже сейчас выглядит суперски.
P.S. Этот уровень у меня глючил и не было воздуха для шара,пришлось проходить благодаря этому видео,ставя на паузы и искать то самое место где есть пар 😂это уровень сложности гранд мастер 😂
In a normal playthrough, I agree. However, in this challenge, Kannon's Klaim was harder.

I got the N and DK coin by back tracking with the TNT barrel. Then go under the 3 bees and keep both characters . I play on snes
The hardest part was trying to get the balloon to move
I need help, when i jump in the ballon, they dont move! Why?
You have to press left or right.
You know, I find it kind of funny acts the same when you've got the rhino then when you haven't. Must be a pretty frickin' light rhino.
Anyway, for some reason I never really had troble with this stage, though I'm not sure whether it was due to skill or pure luck. Probably a bit of both...

why do you have 10 dk coins? i have 9 at this point in the game, i dont think i missed any, all my levels have a DK symbol and exlamation point beside them, a bit confused i am
I hate this dang world on donkey Kong 2 -ditty Kong quest. I've been on this level for 3 weeks. They ain't no way to get out of it.

its weird dude, im plying this game now, and in my cartridge version, when i got out the stars bonus i saw found a DK barrel to the right on a ballon.. but in my cartridge that doesnt happend... is like harder with less barrels to use
