Ah shit. The Them Crooked Vultures project & tour is what he claims led to him having a health issue, then died briefly in surgery, and then spent months quarantined and depressed. He decided he didn't care about music but then made ...Like Clockwork which I think is a masterpiece. I still think the first QOTSA album is my favorite. Rated R seems to be everyone else's. I like a few others more but I love it all. Heard him mention recently he'd like to have Trent Reznor produce the next QOTSA album. I'm sure it'll rule but Trent doesn't seem like a fun loving jokester but based on what I know maybe things are a bit more serious for Josh currently. I'm all for it. Villains was pretty upbeat. Almost pop in some portions.
