Benidorm is located on the Costa Blanca, Spain. Famous for it's beaches, bars, restaurants, nightlife, entertainment, hotels, sightseeing, party atmosphere, excursions, tours and sun. It is not only one of the top holiday destinations in Spain but one of the best tourist hotspots in the whole of Europe. British and Irish tourists love to travel to Benidorm, being one of the best resorts for a package holiday, but it is also well loved by many European travellers, and of course the Spanish themselves. It is an all year round holiday resort, the good weather means there is something to offer visitors of all nationalities and ages, and you will always find things to do and places to go. We visit Benidorm around 3/4 times a year. Our favourite bars are Tiki b
ar on sea front,uncle peds,black chicken 🐔,plus lots more. We love Benidorm as its a place where there's something for everyone. I'm partially disabled so I love the freedom I get being able to get around easily on the scooters. It's the only place I feel normal and can enjoy my holiday like everyone else!!!! It's so disability friendly, love it ❤️🍹
prices are certainly creeping up but having said that Benidorn is still good value

Everyone thinks uncle peds serve pints, it does after 7pm when it goes up, before that it's 1euro, it's advertised as a pint, but it's actually just over three quarters of a pint, around 440mils.
I know this, as I got the so called euro a pint at 6.30pm, then at 7.15pm I got served the larger glasses with a full pint in for 3 euros. I poured the pint glass one into the empty glass and there was loads left over when it was full. There's no weights and measure in benidorm, so they can advertise it as a pint, when it's only three quarters....Still great value though.

Twisted cocktail in the old town next to the Church was 1 Euro a pint in October.

Gosh, still fabulously inexpensive Lucy. I think the biggest price hike on Benidorm holidays is the cost of flights.
Uncle Peds, very cheep in there, mind you, it’s great there is a difference in price depending where they are situated, it’s all about Choice, plenty variety I’d say , nice one again Lucy, it will not be long before the place will be heaving again. Cheers 🥂
Favourite bar would have to be Hagar’s in the old town. Great mixture of Spanish and British customers, and Paul is brilliant. Very reasonable prices too.

We were there back in November 22, a pint of Amstel 1€ in a few bars along the strip day and night
Heineken was a euro a pint in Peds on offer a couple months back. Was spot on. Would charge 8 euros in Sweden

I have to admit I was quite shocked when you started reeling off the prices. Not quite the 1€ Tenerife pint 😳. Cheaper than England I suppose apart from good old Weatherspoon’s-ouch! 🙂
We finished with a good old 1€ pint bar. there are a few, but we didn't just want to show all the cheapo bars. The aim is to show there's a big range of bars and prices and something for every budget really.

Tenerife is way more expensive to actually travel and stay there. Benidorm would work out miles cheaper whichever way you look at it.
Was in Wetherspoon twice in a week lol spent £10.96 in Morecambe last week January Sales burger meal double Bells Whiskey with mixer Unlimited Coffe all for 2 people! bargain.Just spent £19.96 for 2 people in a Blackpool Wetherspoon Burns night meal inc drink, plus a whiskey and mixer and pint of Ruddles.
My travel is on a budget so I can Travel more! whether over in UK or Spain.

I found the most I paid a pint anywhere was 3.50 and 7 euros for gin which is definitely not measured 🎉 back in 9 days for more for my 43 🎉🎉🎉🎉

Bit more expensive than in the past however alot cheaper than Magaluf.
I pay £2.05 for a pint of Coors and £2.20 a pint of Madri in the Brigham's and Cowen club in South Shields UK. They should open a club in Benidorm lol.

@@cookietesla I've been going to Magaluf almost every year since 1986 but we are not going back this year, we are finished with the place it's so expensive for drinks then you have the tourist tax on top we have washed our hands to it.
I think they will struggle this year, everyone I have spoken too said they won't be going back.
We're booked for this year and that's it. Shame after 13 years. When mambos is dead /closed in the day there's something wrong. 😔
@@cookietesla we went to Majorca 3 times last year, I booked them altogether because we hadn't had a holiday for over 3 years, went to Magaluf twice and tried Cala Dor for the first time, we liked Cala Dor however it's a expensive resort then we went to Magaluf and that's when we got the shock, I had booked for two weeks in the summer and 4 nights in October the tourist tax hammered us and I said that's it. I also went to Benidorm in September with the lads and had a ball, mind spirits are expensive in the cabaret bars and nightclubs but no where near the price of Majorca.
£2.20 for Madri and £2.05 for Coors really? 😮 wow that’s the cheapest place I’ve even heard of for UK

I had a pint of lager in J &J s for € pint a few years back and it was foul. The same muck as they give away at the All Inclusive hotels, the old joke being that 3 pints after a night out will def sober you up!
Prices are very reasonable. Still cheaper than UK. Especially the cities.
I think bars and pubs are being hammered for taxes and business rates like in UK.

Hi Lucy is it me weatherspoons do a pint of larger for £2.10 ( bud light ) other larger are from £2.70 to £3.60 depending on which brand you choose so beni looks expensive?
Not sure how you get that. You're comparing probably THE cheapest place to drink in the uk (wetherspoons) to the average prices in Benidorm. I'm sure if you went round a town/city centre and got an average of 15 different pubs prices they would be higher than Benidorm. Or if you compare the cheapest bars in Benidorm where pints are 1€ to 1.50€ to those prices you've just mentioned at weatherspoons then Benidorm is cheaper.

@@billyobrien4552 yeah we could have gone round just the cheapest bars in Benidorm and shown their prices on this video and of course it would have looked much cheaper. but we qahted to show that there's a big variety, everywhere has different offers and really there's something for every budget.
@@LucyYoungTBE Those bars that sell at 1/1.50 euro are not selling pints they are 400ml glasses but advertise as a pint.

Amazingly cheap. Here in Australia we can pay 2 to 3 times that.
thus is where you need to know your beers, why pay extra for Budweiser etc out of a sense of loyalty when Saint Miguel is available lovely stuff

usually they'll charge for the most expensive pint. cider is generally more than lager. 3€ - 3.50€ a pint average, some places may also charge 0.20c ish extra then for the blackcurrant

Went to Benidorm last year. too English for me. Been a good 20 yrs since I last went ( had kids since then )- nothing has changed lol. But good to know if me and the hubby want a piss up away

We live all over, Rincon area there's a lot of residents and Old Town too. Centre of new town is mainky turistic apartments aside from the hotels but some people do live there all year round aswel.

Its not just the prices of bars and restraunts its actually the flights and hotels that have skyrocket and when summer season comes it will be very expensive even more they could all be pricing themselves out of business

Hi Lucy Tam from Bathgate here just back from benidorm missed you when you were out and about thought the prices were OK depending on where you went but amstel must be the worst pint ever
Drinks in the UK are around double the price ,seems very reasonable.
Been goin to benidorm on average 4 times a year for last 12 years and I've seen a big increase since 2018. This aswell as the massive increase on airfares is deffo goin to have a negative effect. Done paddy's day for last 10 years and most I ever paid was £280. Looking at over £530 for 3 days now. 😠
Are they actual pints as per uk or are they 500ml ???
About 440 mils but they advertise them as pints in uncle peds, at 7pm each night they charge 3 euros and then give you proper pint glasses instead of the so called pint glasses, that are actually smaller which they give you during the day
They are all advertised as pints, i didn't measure the glasses in each place. i know some places do give the 500ml glasses as pints.

Prices slightly cheaper than the UK. Depreciation of the pound to the Euro is affecting price comparison.

I have watched a lot of your videos I notice you never touch on the subject of beggars and homeless, I watched bargain Brit’s and there was this couple who went around giving food to the homeless its bad in the UK so how is it in Spain
