When i was there a month ago I was AI and the hotel food was pretty good, but i still ate out a few times..The Daily Catch had excellent fish & chips!..I look forward to your video of Old Town eateries, I always make a trip to the Aitona restaurant, in a little square full of tapas bars, its a very traditional spanish restaurant with absolutely delicious food...it will be good to see where else you visit in the Old Town..

Elisa Exactly never had a bad meal in Benidorm. Many Hotels dining rooms are open I find they are excellent particularly on fiesta days when Bars and restaurants and full .
I never heard of Benidorm until watching your videos. I am from the states (New York). I can't believe how cheap the prices for food and drink are over there. Prices here are outrageous Draft beers in many places start at $7 and cocktails are starting at $16 per..ridiculous!...Maybe I'll check out Benidorm someday!

Hiya Lucy. Loving your informative videos. We're staying at the HB Centre next to you in March (and RH Royal in May). We'll pop into Winners no doubt! One question, I understand there is no tourist/room tax in Benidorm? I think we did have to pay it in Ibiza and Tenerife last year. Cheers!
A'reyt Lucy. As well as loving the places you showed, if staying a while, we enjoyed comparing the supermarkets to UK, as well as going to the British shops. I used to love Carrefour Finestrat, especially the fish section, which reminded me of a UK fish market as a kid, but with added extras.

Great video again, we are over in 3 weeks, any chance of doing a video of the top 10 karaoke bars as we love karaoke, we normally go to Buddies and outback bar as not too busy. Can't wait to get back out there as it's been tooooo long.

You can find prices like that in uk, believe me i was up on the wirral last week and so cheep compared to london. But then i suppose wages on the wirral as well as spain are quite low.

It’s just across from the Palm Court. Their food is amazing!! And they’re such a lovely welcoming couple too. Their fish & chips and the apple pie is to die for 🤤 Thanks Lucy for another fab video 🥰
The China Garden is an experience! Cheap and cheerful I must say. Reminds me of The China Sea in Glasgow - a place with service so quick you were practically buttering your bread using the chip n pin machine. 😅

The last time I paid for a full English over there many years ago was £2.50 😄 I think people liked it back then as it was like a budget hol with good brithish food for the fussy eaters that was like been back home with sun, but like everywhere prices go up I fell in love with goa food and drinks there cheap as anything but when I eventually go back u can bet prices have gone up there to but will still be very cheap apart from fights, i am defo hoping to fit a Benidorm trip this year catch up with my sis who has lived there 7yrs and love's it
I would strongly advise to avoid the Argentinian Steakhouse - they tried to rip me off and called the police! Thankfully they laughed it off. Italian Twist in the old town is superb though, well worth a visit.
Compared to U.K its not bad to eat out ! we're all living in the past Lucy with Benni prices! as I said not bad prices in this new inflationary world !
Me the wife and our 7 year old child went to benidorm in October. After everyone telling us it's dirt cheap we I lt took £500 for the week. We had breakfast and evening meal in the hotel and still spent all our spending money plus some about £100 extra in card. With the exchange rate being practically 1-1. The prices are practically the same as you would pay in the UK for drinks and food
Where in the UK can you get a breakfast for £4 or Sunday lunch for £10 or less ?? Steak at an Argentine restaurant is almost a give away...menu del dia are also bargains 🤔🤔🤔

So the prices seem pretty good at the steak house really when you consider 600g is actually a 21oz steak and most pubs in Britain charge at least £15 pound for a 10oz steak do the maths that's a big steak for the money right there 😉 up the dorm 👌🇪🇦🇬🇧
Haha, i switch between speaking Spanish and English a lot in my day to day life, so yeah sometimes Spanish words come out in English and sometimes English words in Spanish. Sometimes i can't even remember how to say something in English but i know the Spanish word lol
I'm in Benidorm now, Trust me is so expensive 13 euro 2 ice creams, 2 half of cokes 8 euros, heated up lasagne in a bowel , small plate of chips ,2 small cokes 26 euro, supermarkets too so expensive , I would easily say it's twice as much as England. Sunbed on beach for me and my lad with umbrella 18 euros, please belive me anything on the front is mega expensive, might be little cafe somewhere miles away from everything that's cheap. 2nd time I've been and now it's the last 1st time in 2016, and now. You will thank me for it
Public transport to Benidornfrom the airport, leaves every hour on the hour located on the top floor on the far right. Prices one way less than 10 Euros, takes max 45 mins. Depending on which way the bus goes, it's the 2nd stop. 1st stop at a big bus terminus then 5 mins next stop in the town centre. Just be aware sometimes they switch the stops around... Have a great time

Even McDonald's is expensive. Rays 1 in the old town Person 1 - small haddock, chips, mushy peas, slice of bread with a photo of margarine and a coke. Person 2 - small haddock, mushy peas and a glass of beer - 27€. Shocking.
There are much cheaper places to eat than those that have been highlighted if you move away from the strip and touristy area, such as the 'yellow brick road' where the Terrace bar and Winnies etc all do really low priced food.

The prices are always high on the front of resorts, the back streets where their rents are lower can offer far cheaper food

The Don Poncho is the only place where I enjoyed my food with such a selection, the best hotel in my option.

yes there are a couple of car parks around that way, and some streets are free. If they have white lines its a free parking street.

Food in most countries has gone up, look at the USA, Eating out will always be the main cost of any holiday, plus your day trips.

It’s cheap for beer and wine but I only drink cocktails or baileys/drambuie and I find it’s similar prices to home.
