Top of the T-pillar (top plan view) is there a pattern there ? Seem to me to be som circular depressions . Never hear any comment about them. I find it strange since the rest of the T is more uniform on every side. Any explanations ?
Cup marks are found on the bedrock and the tops of T-pillars. Traditionally these are goddess related about collecting water for healing purposes, but there are other theories.
@@MegalithomaniaUK Wouldn't be much practical if the stones where indoor. Can't have both. Or could there have been some kind of attachment inserted that is long gone and in the process made the shapes. Thanks for answer anyway.
It would have really been something if they had given you a torch, a real wooden torch with flammable material wrapped around the end for illumination, to make your way around the site. Of course I'm sure that wouldn't be considered safe, but still...😎
I hope shoot at least 2.7k resolution. 4k would be preferred but yes it takes a lot of space. But UA-cam compress a lot of 1080p and looses the image quality. Even at night try to do it 4k thanks 🤩
Great work! Very interesting. This is a huge temple. Each of the 'rooms' is like a little chapel in a cathedral. They needed separate temples for separate festivals. There may have been painted walls.
The builders cut down nearby trees to protect the ceremony by creating a multi layered covering. It partially collapsed during a great quake but then was swallowed up by the flooding that followed.
If the globe is rocketing through the universe at squillions of mph in 5 different directions how come we keep seeing the same stars every night. 🤔. The Gobegliteckeans new why that is why they made little observation ports in the roof to watch the twinkles. 🙂.
You are sooo lucky to be there...alone...and night time. Hopefully one day I will see it for myself, even in day time :) For now I will enjoy your videos. I am not sure if I agree with the open roof top. More and more it looks like they were covered. They are well preserved and the pilars and all points to a roof. Maybe some were covered and some open. We will see. So many of them are still waiting to be excavated....

I've seen stone walls with cup marks and holes and dimples so plaster will stick to it. There is a posibility that the enclosures had roofs on. The pilars would be the supports and the rough dimpled top would create friction for what ever was holding the roof.
@@MegalithomaniaUK yes, the cup marks all over the place (and other places on earth) are deffinitely interesting. I wish I could time travel and see those people and their lives.
Thank you for continuing to record and show the new Mirazan sites (the original, local local name for the recent official government name). Mirazan means a "miracle maker". The local, childless women give offerings at the hill, hoping for a child. The fertility myth of the hills, still lingers. Mirazan is the meaningful, local name for this entire super old civilization/culture. A lot better than the silly name of Gobekli ("potbelly")-- given to it by the ruling government there . I hope you continue showing us more and more of the Mirazan sites as they get dug up
Brother man, what a fantastic channel and content you have!.... please invest in a mic that doesn't capture so much breathy sounds. for those of artists, and it is very hard to endure. regardless of how passionate i am for this type of content.
This scenery at night, with the crickets churping, and no one else in sight... it's like something out of a dream. If you could be here at night without the excavation equipment and tents it would be like traveling to another world. So atmospheric and soothing as well for some reason. Great job capturing this rare opportunity.
They should get some fake flame lights that imitate fire light and see what that looks like bet it adds to it
Awesome idea!
I like it too
Thanks for sharing really interesting info with the night backdrop

Awsome views… Thanks Hugh.👍🏼✌🏼
Glad you enjoyed it
It’s a shame they have potentially destroyed some archaeological finds with the structure they have built on it and the trees they have planted.
Wow first
Will they open it for nighttime visiting in summer?
People should get loaded up with medicine and sit in there all night until sunrise. That would be the most reasonable research in a sane world.
Absolutely incredible. It's a sight to behold on video, can't imagine seeing it up close.
Imagine if they did some actual archaeology and unearthed the entire thing
@@aldoushuxleysghost I can't even articulate how bad I want that to happen.

It was filmed in 4K, but reduced to 1080 for UA-cam.
@@MegalithomaniaUK Ok! You know. These sites looks great at 4k 75 inch TV!
The boar statue had some red paint on it(?). Could these stones have been painted? Is there evidence? So interesting! 😊

Il prof. Paolo Debertolis ha studiato l'arco austriaca di Gobekli Tepe rilevando che il sito veniva usato per la terapia medica
Gobekli is a Noah theme park , carved from soft flood sediment turned to stone. The wooden idol is none other than Noah.
If you look at the enclosure itself it is supported with shafts that go down into the not yet excavated area. That is definitely Wrong!
Thanks so much for bringing this to us. I felt the energy of that place.
They've still locked out the bloody stars with that damned roof though eh !

A soon as agriculture started, a farm calendar needed to be constructed to give prompt.
Why did they plant a few small forests of trees around the place knowing what tree roots would do to it in the long run?
Amazing ❤
Has anyone tried to play some instrument to see if it makes echos
Acoustic research has been done there and it resonates with the human voice. The elliptical geometry helps.
