Beauty Queen is out everywhere. I wrote this song about all the things that encapsulate the popular girl in school. I was 16 years old when I wrote this song, and it was during a time when I lacked confidence and often compared myself to other people. I think everyone can relate to this song and has felt this way at some point in their lives. I hope Beauty Queen resonates with you and I'm so happy the song is finally yours :-)

I found it from one of my favourite shorts but this blows me away. This describes how I really am when I was in school. I finished this year.
I see thise girls who look effortlessly beautiful but are so mean, and that there was a prom but I don't wanna go because it's something that needs friend groups to go well. My friends all left before then. And I'll never be those people who are popular enough to have a whole friend group.
But at this point what is the point? People who weren't toxic will end up coming around and seeing my ambition. And they'll see my successes when nobody else has. And that's what I believe is worth it in the end.
