What a great idea! The trades workers these days are nearing retirement, so these students will have excellent career prospects ahead. I am still building go karts and mini bikes- l just turned 68 last week! I would love to win the ratrod banner to hang in my garage. Thank you for sponsoring these students Northern Tool.

It's a wonderful thing to see tool companies go out of their way to help the youth of today get involved in working with their hands and getting out there building things with simple to complex skills something that can come in handy for the rest of their lives.

So glad to see a real shop class again!! I went to Shop, them Power and Transportation, finally Auto Shop. And for almost 30 years I have been in the automotive industry. It was the greatest primer for my life. Please keep it up!!!

This needs to be in every high school.Our high school had a shop class years ago and done away with it.Very awesome of the companies and people involved.It's good to see the build off going as well.I look forward to checking these out and watching as many as I can come together.At least if they make videos along the way.

I remember all of my shop classes and what they meant to me. Without what I learned I ould not be able to fix my own stuff 35 years later.

I have been an advocate for these types of programs for a long time. Up here in the NW most high schools are not interested in providing, because or cost I am sure, this type of training. When I had my shop I was able to take time to help out with the one and only local school that looked into the future and set up a great shop and curriculum. I have always wanted to set up a techinical shool for kids similiar to the Lost Angles folks. It takes an enormous amount of money so it is great to see that Northern Tool is taking interest in the companies future and the future of young folks. I would like to say thank you. By the way I am 76 years young so you know I have been to trade schools etc.

I find your yr channel been interested in rat rod for a long time I lost my disability check and now I have good paying job so hoping in the future to build a rat rod with my kids and wife before my health gets the best of me
Wish there would have been opertinities in my area like this when I got into the automotive buisness some 40+ years ago.

Thank you Hardcore fab, it nice to see some school putting classes like this back into there curriculum I here of schools taking classes like this out all the time I'm sorry but its wrong. We need trade class like this. I took trade classes and gradated with a degree and have had a great and rewarding career with it. Its so nice to see this happen please keep up the great work, it is very rewording to build thing with your hands.

When I was in high school we had shop classes and occupational programs that trained us for real jobs. I went through the diesel mechanic class and graduated number 1 in the class and was given a letter of recommendation from the instructor. But I didn't follow through. I think if we would have had a program like this one where I could have learned more than just the mechanic end of things I might have stayed in the field instead of becoming a truck driver. Anyhow, keep up the good work it's needed especially in today's world of video games
