I was self-taught too. I started out with the Tormach 770. The Pucker-Factor was really high with that very first project.
I saved all the chips I made on that first project, and I ate them for breakfast the next morning with milk and sugar.
After I got out of the hospital, I went on to learn more and more.
The only thing I hated about machining was having to clean my mill when the work was done.

This is the prophecy about the second coming of Jesus
      Zechariah 13:7
“Awake, sword, against my shepherd, against the man who is close to me!” declares the LORD Almighty. “Strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered, and I will turn my hand against the little ones.
      The Shepherd here is Jesus.
      John 10:11
“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.
This is the fulfillment of the prophecy.
      Matthew 26:31
Then Jesus told them, “This very night you will all fall away on account of me, for it is written: “’I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock will be scattered.’
This happened near 30 to 33 AD.
      Hosea 6:1-2
Come, let us return to the LORD. He has torn us to pieces but he will heal us; he has injured us but he will bind up our wounds.
After two days he will revive us; on the third day he will restore us, that we may live in his presence.
In prophecies 1day is equal to 1000 years. Which means after two thousand years Jesus will return again.
And on the third day which is the 3rd millennium, we will live in his sight. We all know we cannot see God's face and live on Earth. So it's the second coming of Jesus.
      Luke 21:11 ►
There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven.
      Matthew 24:6
You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come.
We are the witnesses of all these things. From the death of Jesus to 2030 - 2033 there are 2000 years. Jesus is coming soon. Let's all repent and turn from our old ways and turn to the Lord.
      Praise the Lord.
Peace and Love to you all
A verse to show about the Holy Trinity
      Isaiah 9:6
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
      Everlasting Father?. There's your answer
The whole world will turn against Israel and not just Palestinians. Then know the end is near. This is a major sign to look for in the end times.
      God bless you all
Please spread this message to the ends of the world .

I have been working my way up from tinkered CNC routers which are very hard to maintain and get any kind of precision out of. I am a mechanical engineer now, I order parts for the projects that i supervise from few machine shops that i collaborate with, yet i still haven't operated a serious brand CNC machine myself.
It would literally bring tears to my eyes operating such a machine as it would bring all the struggling memories of my early career development.
Huge respect to TITANS for they help a enormous amount of people with this.

Congrats, you did well! I remember my first Cnc part. 30 years ago, out of PET. ( 50pcs ) First cnc mill in the shop. Had to program by hand. Looked kind like the Chevy symbol radius on all corners, holes in the part that had Oring grooves. Nobody to ask questions on how, just a manual to read to go from. President of the company coming out every hour to see how they were coming out. Mastercam makes it so much easier now.

I am back at it now I started with the same part you did to redone my skills but had to take a break a few years ago i will be doing every single part that is a part of the academy. I'm curious will those machines take a Q in the tapping cycle (g84)? I find it interesting how fanuc machines can peck tap without anything weird. Haas you have to turn on repeat rigid tapping then copy the toolpath and change the z depth. As long as the retract plane doesn't change the threads will line up (the R can change but it has to be in increment's of 1 pitch). Some machines take the Q in the g84 others you need to work around it.
Also for the engraving did you scan your real signature then use raster to vector?

    • @ytfan3815
      @ytfan3815 5 місяців тому

Well Fanuc needs at least parameter 5200 - #5 set to correct setting ( and 5104 - #6 ) for peck tapping !!!!!!!!
Just like Fanuc can use internal sub-programs like e.g. HAAS (M97), but first set parameter 6005 - #0 to 1 (SQC), M98 Qxxx instead of M98 Pxxx.
Sometimes you need to dive into the ( Fanuc ) parameter manual to find what you want/need.
I read somewhere that Syntec has three settings ( Type I to III ) for G84 peck tapping, not sure if that is correct.

It wasn't the KOR5. it was just a 3 flute endmill. She followed the feeds/speeds given in the online tutorials. They were recorded with the understanding that there may be a lot of beginners or home machinists just getting started that may be using a Tormach so the feeds/speeds were adjusted so even the most basic level machine should be able to handle the cuts. It definitely can be optimized but for the very first part someone does, there is no need to break any speed records.

I wouldn't say it's a requirement, but it helps so much! I wanted to make chips because I work with all of our awesome partners, and I wanted to raise my level of understanding for the industry across the board. It's also just super fun!

@KylieGranno come to Wisconsin, you won't be wearing make-up at our shop or using a computer to write your programs. I've been a Machinest for 25 years at my shop and we to all the geometry and math to program out jobs at the machine. Stuck up valley girl thinks machining is easy. Video is so fake and made up from others to make you shine. MISERY BUSINESS

I'm not forcing anything here, I wanted to come back and have this experience be purely an achievement for me in this industry. We all start somewhere, and I am grateful to have the opportunity! The journey is just beginning

Ah..let's try to guess...Because according to your special mindset no women can enjoy working with cnc machines, they only do if they are 'forced'...because its an field for men only....? Why does it feel like I'm about to get a price.....

Now tell me how to calculate feed rate for rigid tapping? Or how to calculate feed rate based off a 6 flute endmill at 700sfm. Titan doesn't teach how to be a machinist they teach how to be a button pusher

    • @Rimrock300
      @Rimrock300 5 місяців тому

You're talking about basic info one can look up anywhere. Titans are focusing at teaching stuff that is more difficult to get knowledge about, if not already with a company. You are free to imagine is nothing more than pushing the on/off button)

There is a lack of diversity in the industry in general... I do disagree though. We have diversity of ideas, diversity of experience, men and women on the workforce, and yes even diversity of race considering there are numerous people working behind the scenes that you don't see. Please, next time we are hiring, submit your resume! We will consider you based on your experience, character, skillset, and passion for the trade. That's what we measure.
