The unnecessary portrayal of Efrafa as being located in some sort of derelict industrial area irritated me. Since the locations in the book are real, I prefer that those locations are as realistically portrayed as possible. Sad about the coming infrequency of your brilliant podcast but thanks for all you have done.
@@thewatershipdownpodcast1300 I do, but actually, I think your analysis is fair. You weren't saying which was "best", you were saying which is most book accurate. I really do give the writers credit for being able to make their own script and still keep the flavour of the book
I have one suggestion for ya, how about a big zoom meeting with all the Owsla who want to join? Actually, I have a second suggestion too: can you leave the character analysis project open to our input? I for one would love to add my thoughts on many of the characters, and you can pick and choose what you want to include of this in the podcast. Or maybe even have certain owsla members script an analysis of their favourite Watership media. (For instance, there might be a member who first heard of Watership from the Netflix series, so it is the one they know best, some who grew up on the 90s cartoon, and (if I may be so bold), I think I know the '84 Australian radio play best, so I could speak my thoughts on that. This will help take the burden off you, and besides, I would enjoy that kind of thing, and I think others would as well
@@thewatershipdownpodcast1300 I don't know how to give you a recorded form. Well, I do-can I email you wetransfer files of myself on video? That's really the only way for me to do this
Maybe you could do an episode on the new BFI blu-ray, which arrived in my letterbox just this afternoon

7:30-I didn't realise that WAS a British phrase, as we use "ripping yarn" in Canada

@@graemeb794 Thank you. And yes, the real locations of places in this story should be shown respect.
4:00-The Australian play is getting the highest score! All right! Hehe!
@@SJHFoto Thought you'd like that 😁
