Hated both trailers, it’s as if they made them intentionally as cheesy and cliché as possible. Loved the show, though.

to be fair other than Ryze being a cameo and who heimerdinger is and how he got there everything is explained. The only thing they might skimp out a little on is Caitlyn's backstory to become sherif and even that will probably be told/shown. Awesome show and amazing animation

The animation + the writing + the characters + the music + the rawness most shows are afraid to touch = This show is revolutionary for me, each variable done at the highest of qualities & one of my favorite of all time, give me 1000 episodes please!

Yessir u can enjoy league without playing league granted I play league I enjoy it but from a non biased opinion you are spot on and like the music all the separate animations they make for story like the awaken cinematic the yasuo yone animation it's all so fantastic and now the coup de grace Arcane, like this show brought out emotions in myself I haven't felt in a long time the dark nature of the show the writing the animation everything is done so perfectly. and think about this the game is called league of legends arcane is a visualization of what made these characters become legends so the show has to be "Legendary"

I know I hate the gameplay style in League Of Legends but the lore was really interesting
@@mantigo4840 I find individual bits of the lore super interesting, as a whole though it's a bit of a mess with everything from steampunk/industrial societies to european and asian feudal states to 18th century pirates.
I get that it's just trying to justify a wide range of heroes all existing in the same universe but yeah, hella confusing.

No idea what exactly will be there except big bad wolf. Maybe Jayce-Victor conflict claimed in lore is somewhat tuned off, but seems like it can appear at s2. Ekko and Heimerdinger will build Ekko's time machine though this is as well quite a tragedy in its own. Warwick which due to some hint references I give 75% chances is Vander. It will even explain how Jinx manages to survive when virtually everyone around wants her dead. Revived as ww or just survived that day but trapped into Sinjed cave. Maybe Urgot if actually Jinx killed Mel with her shot. This will explain as well why Jayce hates her quite a lot as Catelyn was there and I doubt that she will keep this secret even for Vi sake. Maybe she spills that before learning about victims. As well as if Urgot is sent by Noxus to hunt down Jinx while being undercover, this will explain a clash between him and ww and why he was brutally ripped apart and got his fancy body.
Though, better wait how rito writers will do that. As they did magnificent job with s1

oh that would be a nice thing. Usually I don't like moviefications of games but in Dishonored I always felt like they had so much more to tell and explore and I wasn't paying the lore the attention it would have deserved.

Yes! I love when artists and storytellers are really able to put their all into their work. You can tell this show was made with a lot of care and attention to detail.

Imagine if they decide to make Arcane a kind of anthology series, with each season showcasing champions from each region of Runeterra? I’m just saying there’s a lot of storytelling potential in that setting with all those characters.

The amount of power production to produce such film like this for just vi and jinx I don't think they can do all champions... It will take forever and some of the champions will just be a side characters for the mean time... The potential storytelling of runeterra is so vast

Just watched the first three episodes. One word: AMAZING. I CAN'T wait till the next episodes roll in, it's going to be great.

I wish I could erase this series from my brain... so I could watch it again for the first time.
Just finished watching all episodes available on netflix, and 3 more episodes coming in on the 20th. Just stumbled upon it on netflix and it says "most liked". After watching it I can see why. The art style is just so unique to me it felt like watching actual people. Everyting about is just so amazing. A masterpiece! They should hold on to it. And continue to make more. They have the fan base already. Im not a lol player but Im a fan of their cinematics. It's just so good.

It took ten long years but it's almost here. Remember if we want an actual movie this needs to pop off. Somehow I doubt it won't it looks amazing and the story of Jinx and Vi. Oof for those that haven't played the game this is going to be one rollercoaster of a story.

What's funny is we keep hearing silco's voice when seeing clips of jinx but very little of her actually speaking. It's really impressive how this is indirectly implying that she listens to him. I wonder how she responds in some of those initial meetings.

I agree - the art style is not only unique and well thought out but so incredibly detailed that there's no doubt the animators really cared about this.
As someone who knows absolutely nothing about the IP this was developed from, I can honestly say this looks awesome (in terms of the animation and the story line).
I'll definitely check it out when it drops...

I remember when I first watched this trailer, and just the fact that it was associated with LoL was enough for me to dislike it immediately. I thought to myself as I watched this: well the animation style looks cool (as was always the case with LoL cinematics)......ahhh another generic villain.......oh yeah, another strong female character that will for sure pander to modern feminist hollywood...........cringe dialogue..........great, a harley quinn ripoff.......well it looks pretty, but the story will be full of clichés for sure.
And then I watched Act 1.
Oh boy, how wrong I was! It instantly became one of my most favorite pieces of film I EVER saw and now I'm obsessed by it!

Arcane is a masterpiece, the art style, storytelling, visuals, everything was top notch, one of my all time favorite shows, hard to believe it’s been 2 years, so excited for season 2👏👏👏👏 The soundtrack was incredible 🎶🎧😊😊

Best looking art style I have ever seen in an animated series.
Just finished act one and all i have to say is that if you:
1. Are a League LORE fan.
2. Vibe with magical technology fantasy settings.
3. Are looking forward to the Runeterra MMO and how it's writting will probably go.
Watch it, its worth it. I haven't played LoL in over 3 years as i have no hope for the game to ever improve anymore but i have hope that the MMO will bring me the joy of exploring one of my favorite settings in gaming without worrying about toxic PvP environments. And this first act reignites that hope.
Actually, I think this series is so well written (as for now, at least) that everyone could enjoy it. There's no need to be a LOL or LOR fan.
It makes sense, they make stellar cutscenes, so why not a feature length film.
The art is jawdropping..I wish that Lucas and Disney takes notes creating a Star Wars show with these visuals
to be fair, I think we can credit the 3D clone wars for pushing forward stylized and painterly models in 3D animation. This of course is more in line with what's been done for spiderverse, where the rendering itself is made not to be realistic, but to conform to a certain type of Illustration.

I never had a gaming computer or internet fast enough in my country to keep up but the LoL lore looked so interesting, was always disappointed that there was no anime or series related to it

The animation and art style are beautiful. I haven't watched it yet, but I will likely enjoy it.
My only issue is that I don't like when writers make hyper-masculine female characters. it's cringe like hell. But I can give them the benefit that LoL is an already established title that they are writing a show for, with already established characters. So as far as I know, it wasn't an independent decision to have the characters be like that.
If you're going to make a masculine brute character with robo hands that smash things. Just make it a guy. It just feels way too forced when it's a female.

This looks fantastic. Blizzard and Overwatch really missed their chances to do this good looking a show.
To be fair, almost all of their cinematics so far have been produced in-house together with their Franchise development team, same for the Overwatch 2 campaign. Riot has the advantage of having Fortiche produce much of their animated content, very talented studio. I do hope that we get to see an Overwatch series at some point, there have been rumors about it last year

Ive watched my fair share of anime. My favorites being DBZ and Naruto. This is the best show I have ever seen and I cant believe I had such negative ideas about what the show would be. I quit league and hated it with a passion so I had really negative bias but gave it a shot because of how high rated it is. Best show of all time. I cant believe I was so ignorant to not give this show a chance sooner.

Just finished the first Season. LOVED IT!!! I hope Arcane gets many Seasons, Spin-Offs, Sequels, Prequels, and Movies to fit all of League of Legends’ characters in its Universe. As of this comment, there are 157 Champions and counting after all.
Bruh I brushed this show off a few times and didn’t even consider watching the trailer , then just yesterday I decided to give it a chance , literary 5 min in I was hooked and mesmerized by the art style , based on the three episode out now this show 10/10 , and the voice acting in incredible
i just watched the 3 episodes and it was amazing. everything was so good and crisp the storyline is superb i can’t wait for the rest to comeout. props to the soundtrack i think its something people underrate but i can’t imagine how on point it was and made the show even more alive and enjoyable

Nope, you won't get the references, easter eggs, and the satisfaction of seeing the characters you've been playing be brought to life, but other than that, people who went in blindly enjoyed it just as much.
Nope... However, there are some references that you obviously will miss.
LoL lore is just that massive and interesting that the game itself is not even the main focus anymore. I can even confidently say the game is more like a Fan-game at this point.

I think they painted the cgi models for each frame just like how it was done with spider verse with their hand drawn elements.
this series took me so hard that 1 day after i finished watching it i can't think of anything else but arcane this roller coaster of emotions was such a blatant emotional experience for me that i can hardly cope with it it feels like heartache to me since i know i've finished watching am about to watch it again even if it's only supposed to be a series i can say that arcane has changed my whole life thanks for this unique experience riot!
