He should've been already dead in this part of the show but its actually nice that they made him meet and stand up to one of the most scariest villains in the show for a little bit.
This is the saddest episode of television I've ever watched. Even the Red Wedding didn't hit me this hard. I think the main reason being that Rob's actions led to his own death, where here, Glenn did not make the mistakes that Rob did, and was the most innocent out of the group, yet had the most violent and soul crushing death. Nothing will top this episode.

It fucking ruined me and made me realize that the show I knew was over

I wish Abe got his comic death instead honestly. I love the guy but it fits more imo and even tho I love Glenn even more, I think the whole lineup would've been just sadder in general if Negan played Eenie Meenie and pulled Glenn in front of them all and then executed him, ik Abe gets overlooked a lot because Glenn died after him and all that but I think they should've followed the comics closer on that part, but either way, losing the two guys trying to start their families in the same exact episode is so damn sad

This was honestly the peak of TWD, and peak television imo. Never felt that way watching a tv show before in my life.
