Interesting video. Have you tried companion planting re the bugs? Also sacrificial plants? In uk ladybirds 🐞 help control the aphids but there needs to be sufficient food and shelter to attract and support the ladybirds.
I’d encourage a bit of planning around flower heights, otherwise you can end up with sudden height changes that can look a little odd. Personally I love dahlias, rudbeckia, treasure flowers, and coneflowers (echinacea). 😊
How long do the nasturtiums live in your heat? I haven’t had much luck at all. I’m on the Alabama Gulf Coast. It gets ridiculously hot here too. I’ve planted some seeds to see if I can get them upland going early. By the way, all my bombarding you with comments is because comments help with channel growth.
@@dsgardenadventures usually they wilt on the first day over 100. I do really like how fast growing they are. I try to plant them in shady spots to keep them cool longer!
Excellent 😃🎉
I subscribed to your channel 🙏

MIgardener is fantastic! I’m also in Texas and use a lot of their seeds with great success.
@@PrettyAliceNight good to know! I may have to make an order 😆😬
Yes. Plant the bachelor button now. I started blue boy bachelor buttons so I can plant them before it gets too warm
I agree, they are “cool flowers” and can even be sown in the autumn and over winter. Loads of flowers can be sown irrespective of frost dates.
Hi. Your channel popped up in my feed.
Zinnias as a free seed is awesome sauce.

I’ve never grown hollyhock before either. And, I got black hollyhock seeds as a trade. I can’t wait to see them grow.
