Meat Loaf is so great and humble. And Andrew ist just so sweet, he seems really honored to work with Meat Loaf. It's so beautiful to watch these two artists, talking about what they love to do.
It was a crazy whirlwind that is finally over. I was shopping in Dublin, I was barely 17 (no kidding) in 1990, spotted the tickets on sale. £12.50 which was a lot for me back then. Rang my Dad who was younger than I am now and he roared down the phone to 'get TWO tickets!'. I got THREE! Dad, a mate and myself went. Instant fan and I saw him at a concert festival same year. Never missed him from his return gig in '93, Bat Out of Hell II tour right up to his farewell tour in 2013. I love the movie starring W Earl Brown, Meat Loaf To Hell & Back.

He's really a living Legend! Long live the Legend!
If I could just say Meat Loaf has been part of my life and I am 69 years old. He has touched me beyond belief. Good luck still enjoying old videos God Bless you my friend.
🥀 I never thought of Meatloaf having this sweet & gracious persona. I guess I saw him as a kind of wild, over the top kinda guy. I'm so glad to finally see this sweet, giving of the heart side to him !! I feel like I'm just now meeting him ! 😘🤗
Did this kid know how lucky he was to sit next to this icon? Meat Loaf and Jim Steinman blessed us with so many beautiful songs! I can’t believe they’re gone but they did theIr work. And they did it well! Meat Loaf gave it his all. I was in love with this guy lol he endured so much pain; physically and emotionally. But he NEVER stopped giving it his all. He doesn’t like to be referred to as a Legend. I can’t help it though. R.I.P Meat & Jim
Meat Loaf is a legend. I really don´t care if people say that he can´t sing like he used to. He has had many amazing live performances and has made one of the best selling albums of all time. An album that still sells well to this day. He is 70 years old and has had a long and very impressive career. I think that he is still being active for his fans sake and I just have to accept that and I think that he is an huge inspiration for everyone. He has seen the ups and downs of the music industry and he is still alive to see how his legendary music have impacted the world. He has worked for over 45 years (or 50 years) in this industry and for him to still find it interesting and finds joy in singing and making music. I think that´s great. :)
He is, looks and sounds very sick, long live MEAT LOAF!!!!!! Love his music; like the first time I heard it and I am 80 yrs old and only discovered the magic 4 weeks ago on the Net. went out and bought an album of the best he's ever done. LIVE LONG MEAT LOAF!!!
Thank you Meatloaf you have been my inspiration my Hero my idol. You are an Earth Angel. How blessed the Earth is to have you and Jim Steinman to bring us the gift of your music and voice. Love you. Kindest thoughts to you and your family. Wish I had the power to heal your back. "Blind as a bat" is my fighting song when I'm down.
I'd like to say thank you to Meatloaf, his music has not only inspired courage in me to make impossible life changes, he's also inspired and help carry on the journey in writing many many of my novels. I knew he gave it all he had to get to those notes, but I never knew it cost him that much! I tremendously hope in some way, either from me or others, that he gets to hear just how MUCH we appreciate all he's done for his love of music. The verse from "If God Could Talk" - Why don't you run away, And find yourself alive, Go on and turn the page, Before your lonely world collides, What's it gonna take to break the silence, That's been tearin' you apart? - that was the line that inspired me to get out of a domestic violence hell and has since taken my life on a brighter, happier path, I can't tell all those involved in his music, just HOW MUCH that means to me. I know that's not what the song is about but it spoke to me and gave me the out I never thought I had. Every day - if I question that choice - I listen to that song and it helps in ways words cannot express. THANK YOU!!
I love Meat Loaf and I especially love Andrew Polec as well. I think Andrew Polec is a talented superstar and with him being 1 year older than me which is 23 I find his singing voice phenomenally sensational and the way he sings the main song Bat Out Of Hell he nails it straight away and its completely spot on and he killed it. I think Andrew Polec should have his own one night only because his voice is that stunning. When I heard him sing for the first time I fell in love with him and his voice straight away. He blew me away with the songs from Bat Out Of Hell the musical he sang.
This is excellent, Meat gives all the credit and the desire for the dream to Steinman, as it should be. I'm so glad that Steinman's musical has finally happened. So many have called it Meat Loaf's musical, or his songs. Neither is true. Steinman has been writing songs for his Neverland musical for decades, Almost every song he's written was for his dream show, check out his only album Bad for Good. When Meat performed he collapsed after almost every concert, he gave all he had for every show. These are grandiose songs to sing.
Its funny he said that thing about love, i feel we're kindred spirits like that, because to be honest, I've only really started listening to him in the last fortnight. I know he played in Ireland before and i think his biggest show was at a country house and park beside the sea near where i live, its a beautiful setting, i can see why he chose it. But my point is, i get that from him, he strikes me as a really good guy, he's kind of hard to pin down, he's like an enigma Meat Loaf, he's one of the very few stars that i think i could talk to, i have feelings for him haha, his words and his songs really strike a chord with me, i felt a bit down last week and that's when i really started listening to him, it cheered me up.
A man that doesn't get the respect he deserves would be meat loaf himself as Ronnie MILSAP say a legend in his time goes hands up to meat loaf I bow to you u have my respect for all you give to us in your songs thank you
I was lucky enough to attend opening night in Manchester, and I don't think that the theatre quite knew what was going to hit it. People from 10 upwards, most in leathers and jeans, handing crash helmets in where ladies normally drop their coats. Grown men, myself included, were at times crying with the new meaning of the songs. Andrew and everyone else were word perfect. They had to be because 95% of the audience knew each and every word to every song.
I just turned 61 and live in chronic pain daily. Never thought I would make it this far. Meatloaf is a hero of mine for decades! I am really worried about him.
I wonder if this was one of the interviews where he had issues with a swollen tounge. The one where people thought He was drunk. He sounds a bit different in this one
keogh1969 No, when he was told about the audition, he actually had to correct the person who told him because he thought Jim Steinman was a Meat Loaf knock off xD
you cant take a rock album and sing it like your performing the lion king, or cats! The guy hasnt got the power, the range and dosent sing them like they were written to be sung!
performed meat loaf show at the highest level, released my own album THE BAT STRIKES BACK [On youtube] recieved an 8 star review in classic rock magazine .

Saw him 12 times here in Ireland over 23 years and it's his favourite place to play. Every gig was an emotional rollercoaster.

Literally just got back from the show in London. It was breathtaking. Kudos to everyone involved.
Rest in peace sir my condolences to your family. Meatloaf.
I grew up listening to these albums with my dad. I hope this show does them justice!!
Believe me, he brings them to life. The cast were/are brilliant. And yes, they were word perfect.

To see this in stage/ theater is dream for Meatloaf and Jim.

I cry every time I see it and I’ve just balled my eyes out at this
Thanks for the memories, Meatloaf.
Meatloaf still looks great, and has that smooth voice, that can be tender, and be explosive like a freight train going 500mph!
I had to stop driving when I heard he had passed away. That was an awful day
He was one of the nicest people I have met
I love how much credit he gives to Jim in this
Meatloaf is always the legend xxxx

Meat Loaf must get inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame asop!
little andrew looks like he's gonna cry :)
Getting old sucks. But I guess it beats the alternative.
I just turned 61 and live in chronic pain daily. Never thought I would make it this far. Meatloaf is a hero of mine for decades! I am really worried about him.
Who needs the young?😏😆
The alternative happened, he died.
Amazing Music Man 💔🐦
