Well here it is, what is probably the last real DEEP Kirby Canon video we'll have until the next MAIN Kirby game... I can only think of about 2 more episodes for this series without REALLY trying to stretch out info from a random character. One remake, one new one. Let's just say, I'm glad they just shadow dropped Kirby Fighters 2 randomly, it will definitely help for one of those. Lets try swapping the word Emotions with Energy (since they tend to be interchangible in tons of media these days) note that doomers are drawn to ALL energy, Dark Matter/Zero is attracted to Positive Energy, and Kirby is drawn to places with Negative Energy (Such as the time Dedede stole all the food sending Kirby there on a spring breeze for example, imagine all the Negative Energy from the people starving). If Void exists in all dimensions, then are Doomers just ones with no energy input? Another Dimension seems to be a place where emotions can take physical form, so wouldnt it make sense for Doomers to gather there as a means to absorb this "energy" in the place with the most of it? Edit: Thinking on this for another few minutes made me realize this is VERY similar behaviour to magnets, even further cementing the connection that Emotions are an Energy. What are your thoughts on this Meteorz?
EDIT: Edits made for spelling and grammar issues, and so to make this easier to read. So, I kind of think Another Dimension is a multiverse---or rather, a multidimensional realm. I mean just look at the descriptions for the Parallel bosses. Parallel Whispy Woods and Kracko were born from countless others like them from throughout dimensions. In Parallel Woods we specifically read that "Another Dimension, where many dimensions are in chaos" part. While this could easily be other forms of them in dimensions we know exist and simply never been to, it could also mean the Parallel World is just one "dimension" within the grander scale of the true "Another Dimension", with the Parallel World being a birthplace for...parallel forms (from the thoughts of others of course). This clears up a lot of confusion. Why is Halcandra in Another Dimension but not in "Another Dimension"? Why are the Doomers in that place in Another Dimension yet can still be summoned from within Another Dimension? Why are there only Parallels in Another Dimension but no other dimension? Because Another Dimension is a multidimensional realm, holding all the possibilities of existence within it (not only not contradicting with any lore we have of Another Dimension so far and in fact lining up with some of it, but also somewhat matching up with shining Void's description). That of course begs the question: What the heck is up with *Kirby's* dimension then? Honestly I don't know, but I feel this theory covers up a lot more holes. At the very least, even if it doesn't hold all of existence, I still think Another Dimension is a multidimensional realm where many things happen (usually bad things...since there's no hero like Kirby to protect it D:). Not to mention that I've heard others speculate that time works differently in Another Dimension, so the possibility that time doesn't exist in Another Dimension can be true... Your theories are still just as credible though. I especially am interested in what you had to say about the Jamba Hearts and how it all relates back to everyone. I also really liked the idea you put out about a dream world where dreams become reality (I heard some people speculate that maybe that's how the non canon side modes happen. In a dream world. I also heard someone speculated that AD is like this, in a parallel to DnD's astral plane, a place of thoughts and dreams. I like the idea, but I feel that maybe that might be the Dreamscape instead? Or wherever that place the Galacta Knight battles in SKC take place in. I mean...look at the background and the name and you'll see where I'm coming from). I really am excited to see what Hal has in store next. These guys most definitely aren't done with Another Dimension(s?) yet.
Theory: Another dimension is like the distortion world from platinum, a place where everything lacks a sense and everything is difficult to understand.
Well, there HAS to be a reason why the portal route from Popstar to the Forgotten Land looks like Another Dimension, but with lots of stuff from both worlds by the ends.
I always thought that the eye symbol is the symbol of evil of the Kirby universe, not exclusive to Dark Matter. Perhaps Dark Matter is a by-product of evil and it took the forms of eyes
Maybe it's like the Warp in Warhammer, where psychic energy/thoughts are amplified and it exists more as an undercurrent or framework to normal space. It'd tie into the themes of positive/negative thoughts, creativity and chaos in Kirby lore, where it's not inherently evil but that evil is the route of least resistance.

About that Jamba Heart floating around in Another Dimension: Since Hyness had to sacrifice himself and the Mage Sisters to resurrect Void Termina, wouldn't it stand to reason that there are still a few floating around, since they were never used for the revival? Also, if the anime is to be believed, Nightmare is a manifestation of fear. It stands to reason that a Parallel version of him could be created through massive concentrations of fear from the formation of the other Parallel bosses.

I always just figured the bosses from Another Dimension were basically just Bad End versions of past Kirby Bosses, like what would happen if Kirby failed against them and they were allowed to keep gaining power. Landia being corrupted by the Master Crown and becoming enslaved to its power like Magalor was. Susie managing to take over Star Dream and rule over the galaxies' resources to suit her own ends. Nightmare gaining so much power after taking over Pop Star that he could casually travel through dimensions and cause even more nightmares. Etc. Kinda like Team Rainbow Rocket in USUM, in a way.
I appreciate the fact that you add the japanese translations of the boss descriptions, it's true that we can't rely on the english ones for the lore of the game. Also congratz, I haven't heard you saying "actually" during the whole "what is kirby canon?"
It's not true at all that we can't rely on the English translations. What, they mess up a little in one game and that's enough to make you lose trust? I wouldn't even consider it a mis translation, just a different take on what the Japanese version said.

As someone who's really into Kirby Lore™, even just thinking about Another Dimension and either of the mirror worlds legitimately stresses me out, they just make SO little sense!
I can only think of at least 4 dimensions at least: the normal dimension, the Mirror Dimension, THE Another Dimension, and that Another Dimension's version of the Mirror Dimension. So I guess the last one would be Another Mirror Dimension.
Wait didnt it say that the black mirror is a portal to "another dimension" and not a mirror like world. So the gold dimension mirror is the portal to the mirror dimension. And the black mirror is a portal to "another dimension". Atleast thats what i understand from it. That being said super kirby clash also takes place in a world called the dream kingdom. So all the dimensions that i know in kirby are -The normal dimension (popstar) -Another dimension -Halcandra -Dream kingdom -Mirror world So thats atleast 5 alternate dimensions in the kirbylore that i can think off

If Pop Star has "Dream Land" then maybe Another Dimension has "Nightmare Land"! A place where the dark thoughts of people collect and can form wills, and bodies, of their own. That's some interesting lore that I wasn't aware of.
I like to simplify things a lot, so I honestly think ‘another dimension’ is like the Kirby series’ version of the astral plane from d&d (dungeons & dragons). It’s also said that the astral plain the land of thoughts and dreams, and I think that title would go well with ‘another dimension’ since it looks so abstract.
I like to think there's a Parallel Dimension, which could be a bunch of Bad Endings mashed together. The Black Mirror could be a version of the Dimension Mirror that Dark Mind had fully corrupted, possessing Shadow Dedede all the while to create King D-Mind. So, Parallel Mirror World, I guess? But then there's the question of Dark Taranza... Parallel Dedede could be a version of Dedede that never went through his Redemption Arc, so he was never stopped back in Dream Land 1. Parallel Meta Knight could be a version that gave into his militant bloodlust. For one reason or another, the Four Parallel Bosses were banished into Another Dimension as phantoms, only given form by the Jamba fragments. Parallel Landia is from a Bad Ending from Return to Dreamland, a version of events where Magolor never acquired the Master Crown, and Landia eventually caved to the corruptive influence. Of course, I think Halcandra is in the same dimension as New World, so... As for the two Susies, I'm taking inspiration from the vague pause screen descriptions in Planet Robobot, but if one was a robot and the other the real deal? Parallel Susie could've been kicked out of the company by her presidential counterpart, and redecorated her business suit when she was recruited by King D-Mind.
The bit talking about Dark Taranza. Taranza himself was actually inside the mirror world at one point-----when he took the amazing mirror to give to Sectonia. So given that the Mirror World at the time was still considerably negative since Sectonia was soon corrupted by it. Dark Taranza was possibly formed within it when Taranza himself made contact with the Mirror World.
A huge part of it could also be his regrets. Taranza ended up playing a large role in the death of Sectonia. The mirror version could've been the result of his grief wanting Sectonia to come back.

@@smbmario7474 From the looks of it, I think Dark Taranza almost went through the same thing Sectonia did. He took that form after all the time he spent with the Black Mirror. He also starts looking a bit like a wasp, like Sectonia. This must've been how her corruption progressed before she became full on wasp. Dark Taranza would've gone through the same process but was saved after Team Kirby defeated him and he got rekt by King D Mind.
@@jeremiahbooth423 Dark Taranza was a different entity from Taranza, though. When King D-Mind shattered him, that was the last we saw of him, and his emerging from the mirror is the first time we see him. As far as we know, he's dead, since we only ever see normal Taranza after that.

This is possibly one of the most interesting episodes of Kirby Canon to date. So many little details I've never noticed until now! It's all sorta mind blowing when you piece together everything we currently know, even if the greater picture isn't clear yet. 1:15 hmm, now that RtDL dx is out, I wonder if the Doomers might have been drawn to the Dream Kingdom by the gem apple tree? The fruit it grew from was shown to be very powerful in the Magolor Epilogue, and was controlled by the Master Crown at one point...
So, essentially, if we consider the world, the galaxy Kirby lived in as matter, then Another Dimension is the anti-matter. The other side of the same coin, the side that exists to support it's counterpart's existence. And I personally believe there is no time concept in AD, meaning that AD has a connection to all-time periods, past, present, future. Hence why the description of Lor stated that it can travel through space and time. And to take on the possible fact Another Dimension is believed to be extremely unstable, meaning that so far we see in RtDL and HiAD, traveling gateway can be created at any time, any place, any moment, when there is disturbed in energy balanced, making those grey area we saw in RtDL, and Parallel world in HiAD. And thanks to Super Kirby Clash, we now at least had something to believe and support that Jamba Heart, and Friend Heart, exist all over the place in AD, and if one from matter world comes to contact with Jamba Heart, a parallel counterpart will come to be, so the existence of Parallel bosses, and the black Dimension Mirror. Is this too complex to grasp?
I think I’ve figured out something about Another Dimension. A dimension is depth. A point is 0 dimensional, a line is 1 dimensional, a picture in 2 dimensional, and real life is dimensional, and so on (The 4th dimension might be time). The 4 accessible dimensions are known as spacetime. There’s a theory stating that the multiverse is made up of 12 dimensions and Another Dimension seems to be one of the 8 inaccessible dimensions, meaning it is beyond spacetime. When you go through one of these dimensional rifts, you don’t go to another universe, you’re still in the same universe, just in another dimension. Think of it as looking at the universe at a different angle. Can’t wait for this theory to be ripped to shreds when the next game comes out.
I think most things in Kirby universe... darkness, magic mirror, another dimension and void are like actual mirrors. Before you gazed into a mirror, there is nothing but a slippery surface. But once you gazed into it, a parallel world manifest alongside with a parallel YOU gazing back. Out of your mere observation. Pure-hearted may sees a chubby happy pink blob, Defiled ones sees darkness. And if the mirror itself is corrupted, there is only vast darkness to gaze upon.
The part that confuses me is how the Jamba Hearts that possessed Dedede, Meta and Whispy got into Another Dimension. Didn't the Mage-Sisters retrieve them for Hyness? I remember that during the ritual cutscene, not all the hearts were reassembled (hence Hyness sacrificing himself and the sisters to complete Void Termina). Were those missing hearts the ones containing the bosses' thoughts? Plus, Kracko was never corrupted by a heart, so how is there a Parallel counterpart of him?
2:18 so they just cut a big chunk of detail from the lore for each boss. I always wonder why they do this. They gave us a clear cut answer on what the parallel bosses are and construed it for some reason. I just hate when this happens. Anyways, great video man. Another Dimension is truly an intriguing place with still so much mystery despite being intoduced 9 years ago. I really hope the next games elaborate on the mysteries surrounding the new lore.
"Parallel world may transcend time" This means we now have another option for Void Termina: the only reason we could say he wasn't OUR Kirby was order of events, but when causality doesn't follow chronology, that isn't enough to dismiss the idea. In other words, maybe Void Termina is the same Kirby that defeated him, resulting in a rather strange Stable Time Loop!
I dont think Kirby becomes Void T after all Kirby is Marketable and Cute so this is probably not the Case! At best Void T is "true Arena Kirby"! not the main one!

So where _is_ Another Dimension? Here's what I've found/think: The Sphere Doomers' dimensional rifts aren't actually AD. They are the result of AD's influence taking over bits of Popstar (and Halcandra. Being in close proximity and nature to AD, it seems this latter spot is doomed to such effects). Magolor is fought in AD, and the last bit takes place at a core. We see it not only take over, but _distort_ Nutty Noon's tower in the True Arena's rest area. Don't forget about Last Land, where two of Magolor's racecourses draw on the energy of AD as their locale. The same can be said for the warp holes in Floralia, along with its True Arena rest area (idk where this one is, let me know where), just sans the usual corruption. The championship for the Kirby Fighters tournament takes place in AD as well, where Shadow Kirby waits. The HWC digitalized sections of AD which could be traversed inside the Access Ark. The really trippy sequence of the True Arena's rest area is most likely cyber AD as well. The Decisive Battlefield revisits the original AD's core, but heading through the Dark Mirror brings you to its Mirror World version. The Dreamscape seems to be an important locale in AD, boasting its own _Dream Fountain?_ Lastly, AD is the place you traverse in HiAD, and possibly the later half of Soul Melter EX. The Black Mirror could be the Parallel World's Dimensional Mirror, seeing as how it excels in bringing forth Parallel bosses, not Mirror ones. As for the Parallel World itself... I think it is an alternative world/timeline, where the worst of everyone is brought out. But not by gazing into another Mirror or touching Jamba Hearts (more on that soon). By having there be no Parallel _Kirby._ Let's go down the list. The path to Parallel Woods, not the formation of the tree himself, is a result of Whispy's corruption. The Woods hold an unchanging bias to whoever steps by them, because nobody taught it about respecting boundaries. Parallel Kracko's path came from Kracko's resentment of Kirby. The Thundercloud annihilates anything in its downpour, because nobody taught it to be considerate of others. Parallel Meta Knight's path opened because of Meta giving in to his lust for power comparable to Kirby's. The knight is even worse than Galacta when it comes to being an honourable fighter, because nobody taught him how to resist infinite darkness. Parallel Dedede's path opened because of Dedede falling back into his old habits. The king is uncontested, because nobody taught him that pride isn't everything. Susie is found to be Parallel when she practices her father's doctrines, and an even worse President than him because nobody taught her that wealth is subjective. Landia is found to be Parallel when they lose control of what they believed they could control. They get Crowned as the next soul of the Crown because nobody taught them that they didn't bear the world's weight on their shoulders alone. Nightmare is found to be Parallel when the lack of a Star Warrior to seal him results in negative emotions flooding the Galaxy. All because nobody was there to stop him... or the other bosses I mentioned. Kirby wasn't there. But Void _can_ be, if he is given the right teachings of friendship and sent on the Spring Breeze to this other Dream Land to make the dream of friends reunited come true.
So, Another Dimension is a complete dream fabrication, just like the mind inside Forgo's soul. It creates environments and enemies from memories, but Forgo's another dimension is only from its own memories

I'm just now realizing that this is pretty much the same with the Forgo Dimension in Kirby Forgotten Land as far as parallel bosses. The bosses were created through the memories of Fecto Forgo when they possessed each of the Beast Pack, including Dedede. I find that crazy to match up with because the parallels of Another Dimension are the same dark twisted thoughts of the originals while possessed by Jamba Hearts while the Forgo world was when they were possessed by Fecto Forgo
Another dimension probably one of the coolest looking kirdy areas and that music is amazing! So if nightmare was in another Dimension and parallel nightmare knew about galactic knight and also had the same portal as Hyness. Then does nightmare have some sort of connection to the ancients
For me, the Black Mirror is for the Parallel World/Another Dimension as the Dimensional Mirror is for the Mirror World. It acts as a portal to said world. And if the Dimensional Mirror can corrupt others, maybe so can the Parallel Mirror (as I call it)
If Nightmare was the cause of the ancient crisis and defeated through the power of Jamba Hearts, and Another Dimension generates dark copies based on Jamba Hearts carrying the fears of people in the outer dimensions, then I'd wager the ancients' fear of Nightmare gave rise to his parallel counterpart all the way back then.
I love how Another Dimension has become one of the most important locations in the Kirby modern era, meaning that there are more lifeforms on planets besides the galaxy that there is Popstar, Ripple Star, etc. I wonder if HAL is planning to expand the galaxy where Halcandra it is (Since Magolor become an ally and has the Lor Starcutter to travel back there, because it's too far away from Popstar.)
Something that supports your idea of Another Dimension creating beings based off of fears would be King D Mind, it could be the result of Dark Mind’s presence if Dedede were the one to try and save the mirror dimension. I know this explanation is super flimsy but its just something I put together

That makes sense. Dedede being taken over by Dark Mind, Nightmare creating a twisted Meta Knight (whom, of which, Nightmare would’ve fought if Kirby lost), and Susie being the new President Haltmann Like Kirby never intervened. That is actually a smart statement.
I say with the jamba heart part it might just be the hole “void exists in all dimensions” thing. As in that jamba heart is the dream kingdoms jamba heart. Might be even hinting to a void termina boss for a sequel. Also with the nightmare part HAL really should come up with a way to revive him because he’s just a huge mystery made up of theories and the one with the most evidence is just hyness saying “nightmare of a galactic crisis” which could refer to anything in the past or a possible future game. Actually now I’m typing this what if the next main Kirby game is a reimagining of Kirbys adventure? Didn’t HAL say they were gonna revamp the gameplay for the next main game?
About what you said at the end, I've been confused about HOW they would make another game, especially one that follows the events of Star Allies. All the villains are now good and everything is great now. Personally, I kinda want a Kirby RPG that explains all the lure of the games.

Great video, I’m very interested to learn more about this mysterious place. The one thing that confuses me is where it was shown/stated that Halcandra is not within the location “Another Dimension” and instead a different dimension as you stated in the video. I can’t recall that being said anywhere, and I recall the cutscene showing the quirky background, common of Another Dimension, surrounding Halcandra as they exit the portal. So unless I’ve missed something, wouldn’t it be more likely that Halcandra is in AD the location? I would appreciate some clarification on how you got this information or on something I missed.
Well, admittedly, that is one thing I was debating on in this video while making it. So I watched the footage of Magolor traveling from Pop Star to Halcandra. After he initially entered the portal, he was in Another Dimension for quite some time, then exited out another portal into Halcandra. He COULD have just exited Another Dimension into ANOTHER part of Another Dimension, but then the question of what is or what isn't Another Dimension would make things even more confusing as portals could stop or end literally anywhere. One thing I want to be clear on with this series, is that I never claim anything as absolute fact, unless it's 100% confirmed. (Almost nothing about Another Dimension is...)

Couldn't Jamba hearts be effectively neutral like Void and reflect the thoughts around them? Kind of like the fountains, in that they appear on or are constructed on planets with a sufficient number of lifeforms capable of dreams/thoughts?
If Another Dimension shows the thoughts and negativity of a being and Void Termina exist simultaneously in all dimensions, does that mean that it's shining form is it's "purest" form of negativity and sadness?
I also wanna point that parallel Susie and president parallel Susie are two different characters and not the same one in a different form. And that president parallel Susie comes from a dimension different from the parallel susie one
Remember the theory that there's two Kirby timelines? One timeline has a truly good Kirby, the other has a more *"evil"* Kirby. Have you read shadow Kirby's loading screen descriptions from KF2? It says that the shadow Kirby in that game is a shadow of the real shadow Kirby from the Mirror Dimension, shadows of his "innocent soul." Could it be possible that there isn't a second timeline and regular Kirby isn't as good as we originally thought. (Kind of an obvious answer for the second half by now but you get the idea)
I mean gooey is good dark matter so kirby can still have a bit of bad in him (i mean he gets grumpy when you call him cute) but i think the "BAD TIMELINE" could explain what happend in squeak squad outside of ss Kirby isnt evil tho!

Hey Meteorz, when Kirby Fighters 2 was released, dataminers pointed out in the game there were residual test files and code for a Kirby game up to par with Star Allies in quality. It included test code for several copy abilities to work in 3D, notably Sword and Cutter. Any thoughts on this?

I think Another Dimension is a bunch of Dimensions smushed together, creating the area outside of the other dimensions. Perhaps some areas have time, others don't. Some mirror Kirby's dimension, some are pure energy that can be used a a weapon, like Galacta Knight does.

Question/ theory : Is nightmare some sort of dream matter material? He is a being of literal nightmares and cannot do anything to the fountain of dreams if it is shut off. By definition in real life, a nightmare can be caused by a traumatic experience. Who knows? Since we don't actually 100% know what the dream matter is, I guess there is no answer as of now. I don't know, what do you think? Is it possible for nightmare to be dream matter material?

Now, I don't believe any that any of the four matters are a species of sorts, but they did bring up an interesting point: none of the matters are truly good or bad, but rather they each have an influence on certain phenomena. In that case, Nightmare not only fits the bill as being made of dream matter/material (just considering his motif and all the points you brought up), but also could potentially give insight on the type of being he is. I suppose there is nothing concrete as of now, so all we can discuss are these light theories. But it's fun to think about! Ive always thought that nightmare is one of the most mysterious villains in the kirby lore, at this point almost every final boss is either confirmed to connected to dark matter (dark matter swordsman, Zero, 02, dark nebula), highly spectulated to be connected to dark matter (marx, magalor, drawcia, dark crafter, void) or connected to the mirror world (dark mind, sectonia) with only a few oddballs like star dream which is a completley different story theres really only one antagonist that we don't have much clue whats their deal is, and that's nightmare, while some people speculate that hes also connected to dark matter, that just doesn't seem right and i think most fans would agree with me, although they both can possess people thats really the only connection, and unlike all the non confirmed forms of dark matter like marx and magolor, hes the only one who is the possessor not the possessed. Considering hes such an underexplored character with the most of his development coming from a non canon anime, it's pretty crazy that we can still connect him with theories like this one just because of a simple boss apperance in a spin off game

Lets try swapping the word Emotions with Energy (since they tend to be interchangible in tons of media these days)
note that doomers are drawn to ALL energy, Dark Matter/Zero is attracted to Positive Energy, and Kirby is drawn to places with Negative Energy (Such as the time Dedede stole all the food sending Kirby there on a spring breeze for example, imagine all the Negative Energy from the people starving). If Void exists in all dimensions, then are Doomers just ones with no energy input? Another Dimension seems to be a place where emotions can take physical form, so wouldnt it make sense for Doomers to gather there as a means to absorb this "energy" in the place with the most of it?
Edit: Thinking on this for another few minutes made me realize this is VERY similar behaviour to magnets, even further cementing the connection that Emotions are an Energy. What are your thoughts on this Meteorz?

So, I kind of think Another Dimension is a multiverse---or rather, a multidimensional realm. I mean just look at the descriptions for the Parallel bosses. Parallel Whispy Woods and Kracko were born from countless others like them from throughout dimensions. In Parallel Woods we specifically read that "Another Dimension, where many dimensions are in chaos" part. While this could easily be other forms of them in dimensions we know exist and simply never been to, it could also mean the Parallel World is just one "dimension" within the grander scale of the true "Another Dimension", with the Parallel World being a birthplace for...parallel forms (from the thoughts of others of course).
This clears up a lot of confusion. Why is Halcandra in Another Dimension but not in "Another Dimension"? Why are the Doomers in that place in Another Dimension yet can still be summoned from within Another Dimension? Why are there only Parallels in Another Dimension but no other dimension? Because Another Dimension is a multidimensional realm, holding all the possibilities of existence within it (not only not contradicting with any lore we have of Another Dimension so far and in fact lining up with some of it, but also somewhat matching up with shining Void's description).
That of course begs the question: What the heck is up with *Kirby's* dimension then? Honestly I don't know, but I feel this theory covers up a lot more holes. At the very least, even if it doesn't hold all of existence, I still think Another Dimension is a multidimensional realm where many things happen (usually bad things...since there's no hero like Kirby to protect it D:). Not to mention that I've heard others speculate that time works differently in Another Dimension, so the possibility that time doesn't exist in Another Dimension can be true...
Your theories are still just as credible though. I especially am interested in what you had to say about the Jamba Hearts and how it all relates back to everyone. I also really liked the idea you put out about a dream world where dreams become reality (I heard some people speculate that maybe that's how the non canon side modes happen. In a dream world. I also heard someone speculated that AD is like this, in a parallel to DnD's astral plane, a place of thoughts and dreams. I like the idea, but I feel that maybe that might be the Dreamscape instead? Or wherever that place the Galacta Knight battles in SKC take place in. I mean...look at the background and the name and you'll see where I'm coming from).
I really am excited to see what Hal has in store next. These guys most definitely aren't done with Another Dimension(s?) yet.

It'd tie into the themes of positive/negative thoughts, creativity and chaos in Kirby lore, where it's not inherently evil but that evil is the route of least resistance.
Another Dimension will be used to add another “dimension” to the Kirby series when it gets its full fledged 3D game in the future. ;)

Also, if the anime is to be believed, Nightmare is a manifestation of fear. It stands to reason that a Parallel version of him could be created through massive concentrations of fear from the formation of the other Parallel bosses.

As someone who's really into Kirby Lore™, even just thinking about Another Dimension and either of the mirror worlds legitimately stresses me out, they just make SO little sense!

That's some interesting lore that I wasn't aware of.
I like to simplify things a lot, so I honestly think ‘another dimension’ is like the Kirby series’ version of the astral plane from d&d (dungeons & dragons). It’s also said that the astral plain the land of thoughts and dreams, and I think that title would go well with ‘another dimension’ since it looks so abstract.
I like to think there's a Parallel Dimension, which could be a bunch of Bad Endings mashed together.
The Black Mirror could be a version of the Dimension Mirror that Dark Mind had fully corrupted, possessing Shadow Dedede all the while to create King D-Mind. So, Parallel Mirror World, I guess?
But then there's the question of Dark Taranza...
Parallel Dedede could be a version of Dedede that never went through his Redemption Arc, so he was never stopped back in Dream Land 1. Parallel Meta Knight could be a version that gave into his militant bloodlust.
For one reason or another, the Four Parallel Bosses were banished into Another Dimension as phantoms, only given form by the Jamba fragments.
Parallel Landia is from a Bad Ending from Return to Dreamland, a version of events where Magolor never acquired the Master Crown, and Landia eventually caved to the corruptive influence.
Of course, I think Halcandra is in the same dimension as New World, so...
As for the two Susies, I'm taking inspiration from the vague pause screen descriptions in Planet Robobot, but if one was a robot and the other the real deal? Parallel Susie could've been kicked out of the company by her presidential counterpart, and redecorated her business suit when she was recruited by King D-Mind.

Taranza himself was actually inside the mirror world at one point-----when he took the amazing mirror to give to Sectonia.
So given that the Mirror World at the time was still considerably negative since Sectonia was soon corrupted by it. Dark Taranza was possibly formed within it when Taranza himself made contact with the Mirror World.
A huge part of it could also be his regrets. Taranza ended up playing a large role in the death of Sectonia. The mirror version could've been the result of his grief wanting Sectonia to come back.

He also starts looking a bit like a wasp, like Sectonia. This must've been how her corruption progressed before she became full on wasp. Dark Taranza would've gone through the same process but was saved after Team Kirby defeated him and he got rekt by King D Mind.

This is possibly one of the most interesting episodes of Kirby Canon to date. So many little details I've never noticed until now! It's all sorta mind blowing when you piece together everything we currently know, even if the greater picture isn't clear yet. Especially appreciate hearing the Japanese boss descriptions, as those clear up alot of my confusion with parralel bosses prior to watching.
1:15 hmm, now that RtDL dx is out, I wonder if the Doomers might have been drawn to the Dream Kingdom by the gem apple tree? The fruit it grew from was shown to be very powerful in the Magolor Epilogue, and was controlled by the Master Crown at one point...
So, essentially, if we consider the world, the galaxy Kirby lived in as matter, then Another Dimension is the anti-matter. The other side of the same coin, the side that exists to support it's counterpart's existence.
And I personally believe there is no time concept in AD, meaning that AD has a connection to all-time periods, past, present, future. Hence why the description of Lor stated that it can travel through space and time.
And to take on the possible fact Another Dimension is believed to be extremely unstable, meaning that so far we see in RtDL and HiAD, traveling gateway can be created at any time, any place, any moment, when there is disturbed in energy balanced, making those grey area we saw in RtDL, and Parallel world in HiAD.
And thanks to Super Kirby Clash, we now at least had something to believe and support that Jamba Heart, and Friend Heart, exist all over the place in AD, and if one from matter world comes to contact with Jamba Heart, a parallel counterpart will come to be, so the existence of Parallel bosses, and the black Dimension Mirror.

I think I’ve figured out something about Another Dimension. A dimension is depth. A point is 0 dimensional, a line is 1 dimensional, a picture in 2 dimensional, and real life is dimensional, and so on (The 4th dimension might be time). The 4 accessible dimensions are known as spacetime. There’s a theory stating that the multiverse is made up of 12 dimensions and Another Dimension seems to be one of the 8 inaccessible dimensions, meaning it is beyond spacetime. When you go through one of these dimensional rifts, you don’t go to another universe, you’re still in the same universe, just in another dimension. Think of it as looking at the universe at a different angle.
Can’t wait for this theory to be ripped to shreds when the next game comes out.

I think most things in Kirby universe... darkness, magic mirror, another dimension and void are like actual mirrors.
Before you gazed into a mirror, there is nothing but a slippery surface.
But once you gazed into it, a parallel world manifest alongside with a parallel YOU gazing back. Out of your mere observation.
Pure-hearted may sees a chubby happy pink blob, Defiled ones sees darkness.
And if the mirror itself is corrupted, there is only vast darkness to gaze upon.
The part that confuses me is how the Jamba Hearts that possessed Dedede, Meta and Whispy got into Another Dimension. Didn't the Mage-Sisters retrieve them for Hyness? I remember that during the ritual cutscene, not all the hearts were reassembled (hence Hyness sacrificing himself and the sisters to complete Void Termina). Were those missing hearts the ones containing the bosses' thoughts? Plus, Kracko was never corrupted by a heart, so how is there a Parallel counterpart of him?
2:18 so they just cut a big chunk of detail from the lore for each boss. I always wonder why they do this. They gave us a clear cut answer on what the parallel bosses are and construed it for some reason. I just hate when this happens. Anyways, great video man. Another Dimension is truly an intriguing place with still so much mystery despite being intoduced 9 years ago. I really hope the next games elaborate on the mysteries surrounding the new lore.

This means we now have another option for Void Termina: the only reason we could say he wasn't OUR Kirby was order of events, but when causality doesn't follow chronology, that isn't enough to dismiss the idea.
In other words, maybe Void Termina is the same Kirby that defeated him, resulting in a rather strange Stable Time Loop!
I dont think Kirby becomes Void T after all Kirby is Marketable and Cute so this is probably not the Case!

So where _is_ Another Dimension? Here's what I've found/think:
The Sphere Doomers' dimensional rifts aren't actually AD. They are the result of AD's influence taking over bits of Popstar (and Halcandra. Being in close proximity and nature to AD, it seems this latter spot is doomed to such effects). Magolor is fought in AD, and the last bit takes place at a core. We see it not only take over, but _distort_ Nutty Noon's tower in the True Arena's rest area. Don't forget about Last Land, where two of Magolor's racecourses draw on the energy of AD as their locale. The same can be said for the warp holes in Floralia, along with its True Arena rest area (idk where this one is, let me know where), just sans the usual corruption. The championship for the Kirby Fighters tournament takes place in AD as well, where Shadow Kirby waits. The HWC digitalized sections of AD which could be traversed inside the Access Ark. The really trippy sequence of the True Arena's rest area is most likely cyber AD as well. The Decisive Battlefield revisits the original AD's core, but heading through the Dark Mirror brings you to its Mirror World version. The Dreamscape seems to be an important locale in AD, boasting its own _Dream Fountain?_ Lastly, AD is the place you traverse in HiAD, and possibly the later half of Soul Melter EX.
The Black Mirror could be the Parallel World's Dimensional Mirror, seeing as how it excels in bringing forth Parallel bosses, not Mirror ones. As for the Parallel World itself... I think it is an alternative world/timeline, where the worst of everyone is brought out. But not by gazing into another Mirror or touching Jamba Hearts (more on that soon). By having there be no Parallel _Kirby._ Let's go down the list.
The path to Parallel Woods, not the formation of the tree himself, is a result of Whispy's corruption. The Woods hold an unchanging bias to whoever steps by them, because nobody taught it about respecting boundaries. Parallel Kracko's path came from Kracko's resentment of Kirby. The Thundercloud annihilates anything in its downpour, because nobody taught it to be considerate of others. Parallel Meta Knight's path opened because of Meta giving in to his lust for power comparable to Kirby's. The knight is even worse than Galacta when it comes to being an honourable fighter, because nobody taught him how to resist infinite darkness. Parallel Dedede's path opened because of Dedede falling back into his old habits. The king is uncontested, because nobody taught him that pride isn't everything. Susie is found to be Parallel when she practices her father's doctrines, and an even worse President than him because nobody taught her that wealth is subjective. Landia is found to be Parallel when they lose control of what they believed they could control. They get Crowned as the next soul of the Crown because nobody taught them that they didn't bear the world's weight on their shoulders alone. Nightmare is found to be Parallel when the lack of a Star Warrior to seal him results in negative emotions flooding the Galaxy. All because nobody was there to stop him... or the other bosses I mentioned. Kirby wasn't there. But Void _can_ be, if he is given the right teachings of friendship and sent on the Spring Breeze to this other Dream Land to make the dream of friends reunited come true.
So, Another Dimension is a complete dream fabrication, just like the mind inside Forgo's soul. It creates environments and enemies from memories, but Forgo's another dimension is only from its own memories

I'm just now realizing that this is pretty much the same with the Forgo Dimension in Kirby Forgotten Land as far as parallel bosses. The bosses were created through the memories of Fecto Forgo when they possessed each of the Beast Pack, including Dedede. I find that crazy to match up with because the parallels of Another Dimension are the same dark twisted thoughts of the originals while possessed by Jamba Hearts while the Forgo world was when they were possessed by Fecto Forgo
Another dimension probably one of the coolest looking kirdy areas and that music is amazing! So if nightmare was in another Dimension and parallel nightmare knew about galactic knight and also had the same portal as Hyness. Then does nightmare have some sort of connection to the ancients
For me, the Black Mirror is for the Parallel World/Another Dimension as the Dimensional Mirror is for the Mirror World. It acts as a portal to said world. And if the Dimensional Mirror can corrupt others, maybe so can the Parallel Mirror (as I call it)
If Nightmare was the cause of the ancient crisis and defeated through the power of Jamba Hearts, and Another Dimension generates dark copies based on Jamba Hearts carrying the fears of people in the outer dimensions, then I'd wager the ancients' fear of Nightmare gave rise to his parallel counterpart all the way back then.
I love how Another Dimension has become one of the most important locations in the Kirby modern era, meaning that there are more lifeforms on planets besides the galaxy that there is Popstar, Ripple Star, etc.
I wonder if HAL is planning to expand the galaxy where Halcandra it is (Since Magolor become an ally and has the Lor Starcutter to travel back there, because it's too far away from Popstar.)
Something that supports your idea of Another Dimension creating beings based off of fears would be King D Mind, it could be the result of Dark Mind’s presence if Dedede were the one to try and save the mirror dimension. I know this explanation is super flimsy but its just something I put together
Yeah... maybe Another Dimension is a big spacetime hodge-podge of fears and what-if scenarios, like the King D-Mind example, and corrupted Taranza.

I say with the jamba heart part it might just be the hole “void exists in all dimensions” thing. As in that jamba heart is the dream kingdoms jamba heart. Might be even hinting to a void termina boss for a sequel. Also with the nightmare part HAL really should come up with a way to revive him because he’s just a huge mystery made up of theories and the one with the most evidence is just hyness saying “nightmare of a galactic crisis” which could refer to anything in the past or a possible future game. Actually now I’m typing this what if the next main Kirby game is a reimagining of Kirbys adventure? Didn’t HAL say they were gonna revamp the gameplay for the next main game?
About what you said at the end, I've been confused about HOW they would make another game, especially one that follows the events of Star Allies. All the villains are now good and everything is great now. Personally, I kinda want a Kirby RPG that explains all the lure of the games.

Great video, I’m very interested to learn more about this mysterious place. The one thing that confuses me is where
it was shown/stated that Halcandra is not within the location “Another Dimension” and instead a different dimension as you stated in the video.
I can’t recall that being said anywhere, and I recall the cutscene showing the quirky background, common of Another Dimension, surrounding Halcandra as they exit the portal. So unless I’ve missed something, wouldn’t it be more likely that Halcandra is in AD the location?
I would appreciate some clarification on how you got this information or on something I missed.
Well, admittedly, that is one thing I was debating on in this video while making it. So I watched the footage of Magolor traveling from Pop Star to Halcandra. After he initially entered the portal, he was in Another Dimension for quite some time, then exited out another portal into Halcandra.
He COULD have just exited Another Dimension into ANOTHER part of Another Dimension, but then the question of what is or what isn't Another Dimension would make things even more confusing as portals could stop or end literally anywhere.
One thing I want to be clear on with this series, is that I never claim anything as absolute fact, unless it's 100% confirmed. (Almost nothing about Another Dimension is...)

I’m pretty sure the Jamba hearts have nothing to do with the creation of parallel bosses, just an extreme amount of negative thoughts.
Couldn't Jamba hearts be effectively neutral like Void and reflect the thoughts around them? Kind of like the fountains, in that they appear on or are constructed on planets with a sufficient number of lifeforms capable of dreams/thoughts?
If Another Dimension shows the thoughts and negativity of a being and Void Termina exist simultaneously in all dimensions, does that mean that it's shining form is it's "purest" form of negativity and sadness?
I also wanna point that parallel Susie and president parallel Susie are two different characters and not the same one in a different form. And that president parallel Susie comes from a dimension different from the parallel susie one
Remember the theory that there's two Kirby timelines? One timeline has a truly good Kirby, the other has a more *"evil"* Kirby. Have you read shadow Kirby's loading screen descriptions from KF2? It says that the shadow Kirby in that game is a shadow of the real shadow Kirby from the Mirror Dimension, shadows of his "innocent soul."
Could it be possible that there isn't a second timeline and regular Kirby isn't as good as we originally thought. (Kind of an obvious answer for the second half by now but you get the idea)
I mean gooey is good dark matter so kirby can still have a bit of bad in him (i mean he gets grumpy when you call him cute) but i think the "BAD TIMELINE" could explain what happend in squeak squad outside of ss Kirby isnt evil tho!

Hey Meteorz, when Kirby Fighters 2 was released, dataminers pointed out in the game there were residual test files and code for a Kirby game up to par with Star Allies in quality. It included test code for several copy abilities to work in 3D, notably Sword and Cutter. Any thoughts on this?

I think Another Dimension is a bunch of Dimensions smushed together, creating the area outside of the other dimensions.
Perhaps some areas have time, others don't. Some mirror Kirby's dimension, some are pure energy that can be used a a weapon, like Galacta Knight does.

I appreciate the effort you put into these videos and Hopefully we get to know more about another dimension soon.. because it is one of the most confusing things in kirby lore. Not even that, There are so many other unanswered questions in the kirby lore! We need answers! ❤ also it's kinda confirmed there is another, another dimension, and more. President parallel Susie's description says she went through multiple dimensions to gain her otherworldly power. Also how come parallel susie and parallel landia are the only two parallel bosses who aren't as evil and can be somewhat redeeming? I mean.. parallel susie decided to settle down in the dream kingdom and parallel landia is only being corrupted by the crown.

Is nightmare some sort of dream matter material? He is a being of literal nightmares and cannot do anything to the fountain of dreams if it is shut off. By definition in real life, a nightmare can be caused by a traumatic experience. Who knows? Since we don't actually 100% know what the dream matter is, I guess there is no answer as of now. I don't know, what do you think? Is it possible for nightmare to be dream matter material?
@@scorpionc31c54 I once saw this theory chart that categorized several characters into one of the different four matters. Now, I don't believe any that any of the four matters are a species of sorts, but they did bring up an interesting point: none of the matters are truly good or bad, but rather they each have an influence on certain phenomena.
In that case, Nightmare not only fits the bill as being made of dream matter/material (just considering his motif and all the points you brought up), but also could potentially give insight on the type of being he is. I suppose there is nothing concrete as of now, so all we can discuss are these light theories. But it's fun to think about! Anyways, sorry for the late reply, would love to hear what else you have to say!

Ive always thought that nightmare is one of the most mysterious villains in the kirby lore, at this point almost every final boss is either confirmed to connected to dark matter (dark matter swordsman, Zero, 02, dark nebula), highly spectulated to be connected to dark matter (marx, magalor, drawcia, dark crafter, void) or connected to the mirror world (dark mind, sectonia) with only a few oddballs like star dream which is a completley different story theres really only one antagonist that we don't have much clue whats their deal is, and that's nightmare, while some people speculate that hes also connected to dark matter, that just doesn't seem right and i think most fans would agree with me, although they both can possess people thats really the only connection, and unlike all the non confirmed forms of dark matter like marx and magolor, hes the only one who is the possessor not the possessed. Considering hes such an underexplored character with the most of his development coming from a non canon anime, it's pretty crazy that we can still connect him with theories like this one just because of a simple boss apperance in a spin off game
