Isn't the skull ghost in one of the minigames from Battle Royale connected to Necrodius or the Skull gang? I thought you'd mention that. Though that ghost does possess the Kirbys and the ones in Mass Attack don't.
I'd personally say no, mainly due to the fact that the Skullies more so just grab onto Kirby and... take him to the afterlife, I guess? There isn't even a single point where Kirby gets possessed in Mass Attack- at least from what I can remember, been a while since I played it- so that basically resolves the issue of that ghost being a part of the Skull Gang.
+Nathan The Star Ally I'd say they actually get dragged to *and get eaten by* Necrodeus himself, you saw what they do in the final boss if, like me killing Skullys is too difficult to do (at least without them killing at least one Kirby)

This is a random thought but I have a feeling the Crystal shards from Kirby 64 May have the same power as the Energy Spheres from RTDL. Both have the capability to create star shaped portals to travel from planets. I just have a theory that the material that makes them maybe connected with them. Idk this is just something I’ve had in my mind :p
Yeah, necrodeus only got so close because he was smart enough to recognize how insanely powerful Kirby is, realize that he can't beat Kirby in a fair fight, ambush specifically Kirby instead of just invading the planet, and split them apart so he can actually kill them (And even with all of that a Kirby still escapes and kills him lol)
My theory is that necrodeus teamed up with nightmare so they could spread the darkness faster. However, he didn't fully trust Nightmare so he created the skull gang to serve him and him alone. Nightmare then went on to create legions of monsters and destroy all but one of the star warriors. The last warrior was too strong so he created and experimented with dark matter in an attempt to crush kirby. But after several failures, necrodeus had enough and went after kirby himself. He almost succeeded by splitting kirby into 10 and picking off the smaller kirbies but 1 of them escaped and ate enough fruit to reproduce 9 more of himself. Necrodeus thought he was clever by eating his staff but most of his power was locked by it, forcing him to rely on his own strength which was surprising low for a supposed death god. He faded into oblivion and his staff was left behind, allowing the kirbies to become whole once again. Nightmare on the other hand knew when to retreat so he could survive his defeat against kirby and continue to spread darkness and create dark matter. Thats why kirby mass attack doesn't have a trace of dark matter. It's not necrodeuses thing. Necrodeus and nightmare may have the same goal but they go about it in 2 entirely different ways. What's your thoughts on this theory?
Seriously, Necrodeus deserves more credit than he gets. He attempted to deal with the main hero BEFORE carrying out his evil plans. You don’t see such a smart move often. And when he divided Kirby, Kirby’s power was DIVIDED and not MULTIPLIED like in Amazing Mirror, thus being a lot more effective. (One of many reasons I personally don’t care for Amazing Mirror like most Kirby fans). It’s kinda sad that Necrodeus and Mass Attack as a whole are so criminally underrated.
Hello there Meteorz, I'm a big fan of your theories, but this one had a potentially important thought come to mind, at least to me. Kirby doesn't seem like the kind of guy to be beaten easily, even when taken by surprise... So how did Necrodeus do so? My answer: Despite being a pretty good fighter, there is one way this could have happened that really hits me. During his first encounter with Necrodeus, the being did NOT have a physical body to fight, which was why he didn't stand a chance back then. It was only when the leader of the Skull Gang ate the staff that he attained a physical form. As for why he didn't pursue Kirby himself, it's possible that the light burned his spirit form, and he couldn't chase the hero down himself.
I know I'm really late for this, but I've been thinking. Since Necrodeus is basically just the Grim Reaper, does that mean it's Kirby's time to die? It was mentioned that this is the only boss who attempts to kill Kirby. Kirby has seen many(way too many) things that could've killed him, and yet he's avoided them every time. Maybe Necrodeus is just tired of him avoiding his death? I know that it was said that he hates the light and wants to get rid of it, but think about it. Based on this game's game over screen where Kirby ACTUALLY DIES, and the fact that Necrodeus is LITERALLY THE GRIM REAPER, it makes sense, does it not?
More recently morpho knight has become the leading contender for the Kirby universes grim reaper, I think necrodeus is more the god of death (morpho knight seems to collect beings that have cheated death)
It's also worth noting that the "Escape from Grab Hand" theme from Kirby and the Rainbow Curse is a remix of the "Skull Gang" theme from Kirby Mass Attack. Not sure if this ties into the lore in any way, though.

For the next “What is Kirby Canon?” can you make it about some spin off games like avalanche or pinball? You could also make a video about the Kirby species, including Popopo, Kirby, Shadow Kirby, Kirby Fighters Teammates, etc. You could even do one of the anime, putting it in the joke videos with main cannon #2
The fact that his heart was leading Kirby into heroic safety was I think the reason Kirby was able to escape Galeem's(the red and blue winged orb) lasers from the Super Smash Bros Ultimate World of Light cinematic.
(I know this probably won't be seen 'cause of bring years late, but:) If Kirby's heroic heart exposed itself like that, then wouldn't that mean Kirby has like, two pieces of his mind/ body that can split up? I guess if that's true, then his "heart" could be the key for why he has so many abnormal powerful abilities. The "heart" could hold a vast amount of power and energy, and Necrodeus damaged the link enough to prevent it from granting Kirby his meta-physical strength, but it could still talk to the rest of Kirby's body and physically interact and guide them, even propelling or pulling a kirby if needed. And it'd explain how Necrodeus was able to cripple Kirby so badly: aside from just corruptive power, he targetted Kirby's Light, what we would see as a Star. If this is true, then it'd explain a lot of why Kirby is more than just a amoeba creature. In fact, it'd line up with the anime version of Kirby, that had his little star which was most of his strength.
Hey can you use some info from Dedede comin’ at ya? I know Necrodeus isn’t in it, but for other videos. I know it’s mostly not canon, but just the most general stuff. Edit:I mean Kirby Right Back at Ya that was just a joke
It's been 3000 years... But on the subject of Kirby Canon and theories, have you seen that one episode of Game Theory where they dive in and analyze what type of creature Kirby may be? Personally, I just find it to be a theory, but considering how Kirby does in fact share so many similarities to that of an amoeba, it probably makes sense why he can copy the abilities of his foes as well as the fact how he can split up into multiple copies of himself; much like how Necrodeus does so in Mass Attack.
Yeah, you're basically correct on that part. It's just a theory after all, so I guess we should just agree that Kirby is just a mythical creature known as a Star Warrior. But if Nintendo ever reveals what type of creature he may be, then we'll just refer to his species- if he is part of a species- as that from the moment they reveal it.
Another thing I realized is that all the enemies in this game seem to be bent on killing Kirby like they outright try to kill him. You see the souls of his copies flying off the screen if they are defeated. This makes sense because I think Necrodeus wants to devour Kirby's soul given what he is so he is having all his minions try to kill the Kirbies. It's messed up. This is probably why also all the enemies in Mass Attack are different too. The game wanted to go for a new evil approach and they gave the main bad guy new types of minions rather then re-using old staple enemies. Sure there are a few classic foes here and there like the Waddle Dees who are much stronger now, Blippers that can now electrify themeselves, and of course Gordos which now come in larger sizes. But aside from Waddle Dees, Blippers, Soarars, and Gordos a good deal of the enemies are new enemies. Sure two of the 5 world bosses are new but what's interesting about that is that it seems these world bosses are apparently possessed by Necrodeus. This is shown because Dedede acts outright malicious in this game throwing bombs at our hero from a balloon before jumping out of the balloon to fight him head on. After he is defeated an evil energy is seen leaving Dedede and exploding. The same thing happens to all the other bosses. It makes me think the 4 main bosses (not counting Necrodeus) were rulers of the Popopo Islands but when Necrodeus' forces came in he took control of them and turned them into warriors for his cause. Skullord before his possession is an interesting case because it is said he was always greedy which makes sense I guess since he is a pig and pigs love to eat. But it seems that when Skullord was possessed his greed turned into absolute evil and he became a very destructive and malicious volcano lord. All enemies regardless seem intent on killing the Kirby's and separating their souls to offer them as sustenance for Necrodeus. This game is dark.
Necrodeus is so underated. He's by far the one who came closest to killing Kirby AND achieving his goal, all thanks to his intelligence and hax
There's another who wasn't close, but did it. At the beginning of Rainbow Curse, DarkCrafter steals all the colour of Dreamland, including Kirby's, and in this game, colours breath life into things. Kirby was straight up dead, and Paintbrushfairythatidon'tcareabouttherealname brought him and Bandee back to life, like she's described to do with the sculptures of Ireallydon'tcareenoughaboutthisgametoremembertheirnameslol.
So, Necrodeus is Kirby's version of the Grim Reaper? Cool.
Platinum Woomi This is going to sound strange, but you should do Ado/Adeleine.
I think that's why the enemies in this game turn the Kirbies into ghosts. So Necrodeus can steal Kirby's fragmented soul.
And then a unassuming butterfly gives him the finger
@@sayvionwashington1939 well what if the butterfly IS necrodeus?
@@burlyfoil1022 Its probably like Necrodeus collects the souls, and the butterfly guides the souls to wherever they go.
You know, Necrodeus returning in Star Allies would actually be really cool. It would be really unexpected and it'd be awesome just to see him in 3D.

I wonder if Lololo and Lalala or Whispy Woods is next on Kirby canon
Wasn't Triple Deluxe released after Mass Attack though?
Cant wait for #15. I wonder when it will come out February possibly because then star allies is coming
When Are You Kirby Canon On The Beast Pack And Elflin?
The skeleton appears
Omg just realized whay this was and its new!
Well I didn't know what to write as a comnent so I'm just saying hello.
Hey can you use some info from Dedede comin’ at ya? I know Necrodeus isn’t in it, but for other videos. I know it’s mostly not canon, but just the most general stuff.
Edit:I mean Kirby Right Back at Ya that was just a joke
Why RIP on 4:30.. wait i know miiverse's servince eeending right?????
It's been 3000 years... But on the subject of Kirby Canon and theories, have you seen that one episode of Game Theory where they dive in and analyze what type of creature Kirby may be? Personally, I just find it to be a theory, but considering how Kirby does in fact share so many similarities to that of an amoeba, it probably makes sense why he can copy the abilities of his foes as well as the fact how he can split up into multiple copies of himself; much like how Necrodeus does so in Mass Attack.
Roy is our Boy, Indeed i honestly dont think that compairing Games to real Life Logic is a smart way to explain stuff
Roy is our Boy, Indeed honestly, im pretty Sure Not even Sakurai knows what Kirby actually is
Can you do Tedhaun?
IS THE SKELETON CANON?!
When is the next Kirby cannon
