I loved this book! I really enjoyed seeing Wren become a bad ass at the end. And Oak is definitely more pure hearted but still deceiving. I feel like the line between right and wrong will blur more with this series
I just finished this book, and I absolutely loved it!! I was a little nervous about it because as much as I love the world of Elfhame, I love Jude and Cardan even more. And knowing that they weren't going to be in this book I was worried I wouldn't like it as much, but it turns out I had no need to worry. I fell in love with Oak and Wren, and I can't wait to see where their story goes. It's going to be torture having to wait a year after that ending.😂
SPOILER: Im thinking that when Oak told Wren that she didnt have to wrap the bridle on him is because he was willing to stay with her anyway. Lol. Also, when Oak didn't want Wren to come with them anymore when he found out about the heart but then stoppes her from leaving on the bus is so Greenbriar. Oak is as much of a simp as Cardan is. 😅

There are a lot of books out there that most people haven't heard about that should get a lot more exposure. The last one I read was When Dying Is Not a Problem and I really liked it, but very few people know about it.
