That's actually false. It could be true if you are talking to random stranger. But if someone is doing a PITCH in front of potential INVESTORS - they check videos on how to speak. So the expression actually comes from tutorials.

An app that tracks you constantly? I see no way that can become a privacy risk. Imagine if they sold to third parties or got hacked, the amount of data would be mindboggling

I think the main thing you have to understand is most of these business are people who have spent years building it up from £100 a month to 200, 500, 1000 and so on. So they’ve put in all the effort and I think when they say they want 50k for 25% it’s not necessarily the value they’re taking into consideration. It’s the fact they’ve done everything and they can’t just give up a massive chunk for nothing because then what’s the point
