Low baskets. It's a "visual weight" thing! Plus if I'm gonna dig in a basket I want it to be easy to see into (to avoid pulling it all the way out, if I can get away with it).

I used to be a nanny in a wealthy part of town and the neighbors threw away everything - rugs, lamps, clothes and my favorite: luggage. Basically brand new! They were ridiculous, I’m a winner - it was great
My best find is my wash and dryer. I got them at an estate sale 8 years ago for $125. They are from 1987. They're ugly, loud, and work like absolute beasts! Tackled 5 years of cloth diapers, king comforters, tactical uniforms and gear. Washer stopped working one day and a firm kick got it going again. I will love them forever!

My favorite, most treasured find was a Free double stroller in perfect condition on Facebook marketplace!! Takes some pretty awesome people to gift something for free! Super thankful! 🙌🏽

The best thing I’ve found was one of those princess play houses for the backyard. The family ran a daycare and bought a new one and was getting rid of the old one. Was missing a door and had a crack but my 3.5 year old absolutely loves it!
In the dark is so good on Netflix if you’re still looking for a new show!😊 Love your videos! They always motivate me so much!
I LOVE THE CHOMCHOM lol we have a Golden Retriever and a Great Pyrenees so you can imaging the hair we have all the time. It is literally better than any vacuum or lint roller thing ever😂😂🙌🏻

You should rotate the plant in your dining room so it stands straighter! It tends to lean towards the light if it’s not regularly rotated ☺️
My mom found a Disney’s planes toddler ride on toy. It was out for trash. She cleaned it and brought it over. It is my son’s favorite toy. He packs a little backpack with toys and then hops on his plane. He rides around our kitchen island a few times and tells me he’s off to work.

My best driveway “trash” find - a little vintage cabinet that was white, they tried sanding it down so there’s blue paint coming through, then I think they gave up on it.. i love it though and it fits my farmhouse style!
I once found two old Corning Ware casserole dishes while on a walk! They didn't have lids so I assume that's why the person was getting rid of them, but they work great as little serving dishes.
This is really nice to watch and listen to during my lunch break whlie I'm at home making lunch and finishing other work, or usually after work when I want to relax and take care of small tasks around the house!

i love how normal you are. You feel like a mom I can actually relate to unlike a lot of youtubers. Just wondering how often you do cleans like this? I work full time and I have such a hard time having motivation to clean in the evenings and struggle to find time to do all over cleans like this!
hello Carissa, thank you for sharing 😊 Here in Portugal we don't use to fold the clean laundry in the floor, I use to make my bed and fold and separate the dry laundry on my bed and everyone pick their own and keep it. But it is interesting to see how different countries work😍 thank you for the motivation💪☺️

This is the second Sunday that i cleaned while watching Carissa. I have a very small house and im not messy, only im about to be bald so much hair falls from my head, so it took me a little bit longer than the video so i watched twice kkkkkkk happily digitally influenced 🤣
About whether to put the baskets up high or down low. One thing to think about is what you are going to put in them. If they are high you can’t see in. Also can think about weight of items. I enjoy watching your videos!!

I just bought my first TV because all my furniture & TV's have been hands me downs & have all been in great shape!!
My husband and I got scrub daddy's in our stockings from the parents this year (we're 35+ so it's the kind of stuff we get in stockings now hahah, love it tho) - and I had NEVER heard of them. In fact I didn't even know they were a thing until watching this video! My husband is the dishwasher in this house and he can't stop raving about that thing and how we're never going back to other sponges lol

Oooh best homeware finds include a free collapsible telescopic clothes airer from an old housemate who left it when they flew back to Ireland, my grandma's old wooden cake decorating turntable and massive sewing thread collection, and two cushions I found in a second hand shop for my parents.
My best find was 2- 4 cube units (better homes and gardens) for free! Love your cleaning videos!

I found a reindeer wood sculpture infront of my neighbors house for trash and it matches exactly the one my mom already owns, so I picked out of the trash bag and had a present for my mom

My neighbors once left out a bird bath and flower pots for trash...a can of spray paint and I gave it new life!
We scored a brand new sectional for our family room for $350. Off Facebook Marketplace. It is huge! ( our family room is huge also) The people we bought it from said that they didn't realize how big it was until they brought it home. It is beautiful, high quality, and perfect for what we wanted! Goes to show that if you watch and wait, you can score big!

Love a good inside shoe, makes all the difference for the 1000's of steps we get just in the house. Glad I'm not the only one who seems to do laundry 24/7. Does it ever end?

Never thought that I would enjoy cleaning and tidying videos, I guess I'm getting old lol. Your videos are really satisfying to watch just one tip: most of the time it's not even necessary to use as much from a cleaning product for it to work. If you don't “over-spray“ as much it's way more gentle on the surfaces, you safe money because you don't use up everything as quickly and it's also better for the environment because not as many chemicals end up in the water :)
Records was my fav... Best find. I lived in NY at the time and I lived in my a high rise with a lot of elders and in the basement we could leave items to donate. The things I found. 😉

This was exactly the motivation I needed on a Sunday morning! I’m just curious how long it took you to do the majority of the day time cleaning before you overhauled the closet 🤣 I’m always curious how much time other moms need to get a full house tidy done.

I got an 1800’s sideboard with original mirror for free. The guy was gonna throw it in the trash. Can’t believe it. It’s in my kitchen and holds all my pans.
