If it wasn’t for cost, you could’ve used Staubli dry break fittings, then you don’t have to worry about spills. That’s what we used when I work on a race car team when I was a younger man.
Staubli stuff is great, and we do have a line of our own dry break parts coming (PRO/SPEC E-Type), but they are a lot more space prohibitive and you do need to consider the affect on flow, so as a solution we offer the plugs and caps to snap onto the male and female sides to minimize any spills and keep the system compact. Horses for courses.

FWIW, and I don't know if this is relevant to you, but I also have a K series running on a Nexus. If you run the starter solenoid off an 8a HBO it'll sometimes not start due to hitting your current limit and if you bump the current limit up to 12a it seems to usually start and very rarely trigger the other HBO to drop out momentarily or throw another PDM code for whatever reason on start. I've never had it straight up refuse to start after a couple of attempts and 99% of the time it is fine, if it ever actually becomes an issue I'd planned to just move it to a relay controlled by a DPO.

The Dyme kit is really cool. However, they could eliminate the need for measuring the clocking by using swiveling hose ends...which are available on the market in crimp-on style. I am sure they have reasons though. Thanks for showing those to us Mike. Love the quick connect feature.
Thanks for the feedback, we offer both (and a few other types), like Mike said, the O-rings can deteriorate over time or under certain conditions, we found one from the previous system as part of the turbo setup where there was a big amount of play in the swivel because the o-ring had started to fail, which could have led to oil spraying onto the hot turbo, so that was something that needed to be replaced by a fixed type.
Thanks for the feedback, we sure find it useful and makes our lives a lot easier. Long term we are perfecting it so that you can punch in the data to the website and we will send you out an exact replica of what you made and you can keep ordering spares.

We have a version like that as well, (PRO/SPEC E-Type), but, they are not necessarily what people need in every case, the flow changes and they are a lot bulkier than these 'wet-break' type fittings that are as compact as a normal AN/JIC type. We do offer snap in plugs and caps for each side so that if you do disconnect, it is perfectly sealed and will stop leaks or contamination.
We do have that type, those are the PRO/SPEC E-Types, however they are a little more space prohibitive and you need to also consider the flow, so in most cases having a fitting as compact as a regular AN that you can cap off and fully seal when disconnected is enough for everyone, and the cost is a lot less for the wet-break PRO/SPEC fittings. The biggest plus is quick access in tight spaces where you dont need to fit a tool, or remove other hoses to access the one you need, and that there is an indicator on the adapter that shows the user if it is secured or not, so theres no loose fittings.
It might be a dumb question Mike but is it feasible to run a dry deck and fire rings like they do in drag racing on the head block surface to stay safer at high boost?
