Nice kit, and a beautiful old TR6!
I am constantly reminded how stupid it was to sell my old TR6R, back forty years ago! I'm riding a 78 Bonnie now, almost as good as the old 64. Now I've got to look for this oil pressure gauge kit! Thanks!
On my '67 Lightning that's where the tach drive is.
Would you have the fuel taps for the 1959 BSA 650 golden flash?
Was your ‘68 tapered or strait thread? I don’t have a thread pitch gauge but I’m reading in a forum that most all triumph 650s should be strait thread. I just bought the gauge for my ‘71 TR6 650
Mine was straight, later was tapered I believe
Why don`t you remove the old sticker on the Speedo lense?

When you say "3/8" are you measuring the O.D. of the fitting?
A fitting references the inner diameter not outer. All the fittings I have seen and that is on my 78 T140 is 1/8" NPS and it has the same boss.
1/8" NPS or NPT measures for reference ~3/8" outer diameter but its actual size refers to the I.D. of the fitting which is 1/8"
I would like to buy one of these but this 3/8" you are mentioning doesn't make any sense. Even in your video it appears to be a 1/8" NPS fitting not a 3/8"
Also regardless of straight or tapered pipe fitting are all 27 TPI are you sure its a 24 or the 26 TPI you mention?
Please explain.
There are different types of threads, not just American threads. This bike uses 3/8" British Straight Pipe - 26 TPI. The kits we sell come with 3/8 BSP, 1/8" NPS & 1/8" NPT
Is that an oil filled gauge?
yes
