To be a REAL musician, you have to appreciate music. Bruce is a REAL musician. By acknowleding the greats of the past, he shows his ego has been checked at the door a long time ago. Playing "May I" and then digging up the Swinging Medallions' "Double Shot Of My Baby's Love" proves he loves good music.
My little band did a version of Working For My Baby by Lenis Guess. It is on You Tube under "Working For My Baby by Ratiug Evol" I visited Lenis in NYC in 2014 and he loved it.
Bruce had to be influenced by Beach Music while growing up on the Jersey shore. That was one of the hot beds in the north, as it came down to Myrtle Beach in the South. Then settled into Virginia Beach right in the heart of beach music.country!
