Why replace what works so well. 300thou is nothing. Landcruiser ethos is that effectively they are the ultimate environmental vehicle because they last and last. I reckon you’re crazy - change for changes sake ain’t smart.

Yeah I agree. This makes no sense. 300k on a car he no doubt would’ve looked after religiously. Stupid

It isn't being replaced, it will still be in use but I believe it's more about reliability for a vehicle that needs to be in constant use. I am sure the original will be still going strong in another 300k
