Men of courage was the worst movie the cgi ship looks like dumb version of uss Alaska class battlecruiser or unbuild Dutch cruisers in wows The cast was horrible having Nic cage as the captain was such a bad idea Having Matt lanters the voice actor of anakin skywalker from the Star Wars clone wars his grandfather is the victim imagine his grandfather saw the movie he would be like wtf the filmmakers have no respect for the source materials During the sinking the ships alarm sfx was a bit annoying though I don’t think they weren’t suppose alarm the sound that would draw the enemy sub The wreck of the Indianapolis wasn’t found a year later Mission of the sharks is the better Indianapolis television film movie it has jaws level and the film focused on the characters which is well done
Thanks for the comment! It really wasn’t a great flick. In trying to find something good I thought the scene of mcvay talking to Hashimoto was good. There wasn’t much else. I’m not going to pretend to know how lanter would feel. But those that survived that saw it had a similar effect to Pearl Harbor survivors. Not great. I was going to mention the TV movie but due to time I figure to leave it out. But yeah it had issues too but men of courage was a bad one.
