It's hard to be funny in other languages because of everything she explained. Many quick-witted people become lame due to not having the proper linguistic knowledge but few people talk about this subject. Thank you for the video

Such a great idea!! Love it! When I dive into what it feels like to be a foreigner and how often I miss jokes due to language barriers. I also realize that in my own language (Swedish) I can easily tell jokes and know if something is funny or not. Here in the states it’s quite a lot trickier to know if a joke will be funny so how I interact with people here is quite different from how I did it in my old country. Great video 🙏🙏

Rome, 60 BC: Julius Caesar walks into a bar and says, "I'll have a Martinus." The bartender gives him a puzzled look and asks, "Don't you mean a Martini?" "Look," Caesar replies, "If I wanted a double, I'd have asked for it!"

a few days ago I thought that I'd read jokes in english. puns jokes are very hard and 19 jokes I didn't understand and 1 joke I understood, but frirst I had to think about it and then I got it. when I read normal jokes I understand 99 jokes and I don't understand 1 jokes. so it shows how much you have to be fluent in english to uderstand pun jokes. I know that explaining joke is very hard, because I tried to explain english pun jokes to my polish friends and they don't speak english at all. I've read many pun jokes, but I don't have so good memory to remember it. why 6 is afraid of 7? because 7, 8, 9. why cindrella was bad at the soccerr? because she kept running of the ball (or something like that)
